Three out of five major Asian indices ended with gains. Japan’s Nikkei rose 0.47 percent, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index gained 0.42 percent and Singapore’s Straits Times index added 0.07 percent. Conversely, South Korea’s Kospi declined 0.33 per cent and China’s Shanghai Composite Index shed 0.24 per cent.
Major European Indices were trading higher today. London’s FTSE was trading 0.35 per cent higher, Germany’s DAX gained 0.23 per cent and France’s CAC 40 added 0.02 per cent when reports last came in.
