Four out of five major Asian indices ended with gains today. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng rose 1.26 per cent, South Korea’s Kospi increased over one per cent, China’s Shanghai Composite advanced over half per cent, and Singapore’s Straits Times Index added 0.37 per cent. Meanwhile, Japan’s Nikkei lost 0.8 percent.
Major European Indices were trading in negative territory. France’s CAC 40 fell more than half per cent, London’s FTSE was trading over half per cent down, and Germany’s DAX lost 0.2 per cent when reports last came in.
