Four out of five major Asian Indices closed in red today. Japan’s Nikkei tanked 2.49 per cent, Singapore’s Straits Times index declined 1.04 per cent, and both Hong Kong’s Hang Seng and China’s Shanghai Composite lost over 0.20 per cent. South Korea’s Kospi added 0.25 per cent.
Two out of three major European indices were trading in negative territory today. Both France’s CAC 40 and Germany’s DAX declined more than 0.70 per cent, and the U.K.’s FTSE increased by 0.23 per cent when reports last came in.
