Major Asian stocks displayed a mixed trend today. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng ended 0.9 per cent up, Singapore’s Straits Times index added 0.25 per cent and China’s Shanghai Composite index rose slightly over 0.1 per cent. Conversely, South Korea’s Kospi fell over 0.4 per cent, and Japan’s Nikkei dropped almost 0.2 per cent. Major European indices were trading in positive territory. Germany’s DAX was trading over 0.4 per cent up, the CAC 40 was trading over 0.1 per cent up and London’s FTSE 100 had added 0.1 percent, when reports last came in.
