Asian markets today ended gained except South Korea's Kospi which declined 0.1 percent. Japan's Nikkei-225 surged 1.8 percent, Singapore's Straits Times index rose 0.2 per cent and Hong Kong's Hang Seng index added 0.1 per cent. China's Shanghai Composite index was closed on account of public holidays.
European markets were trading up in intra day trade. France's CAC-40 and Germany's DAX, both added 0.1 per cent each. London's FTSE-100 was trading 0.4 per cent up when reports last came.
