Major Asian indices ended in negative territory today. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng slumped over 1.6 percent, Japan’s Nikkei fell over 1.2 percent, South Korea’s Kospi declined over 0.6 percent, Singapore’s Straits Times index slipped 0.17 percent, and China’s Shanghai Composite index ended flat. Major European indices were trading mixed. France’s CAC was trading over 0.6 percent up, Germany’s DAX gained over 0.4 percent, while London’s FTSE was trading over 0.1 percent down when reports last came in.
