Four out of five major Asian indices logged gains today. Japan’s Nikkei climbed over one and a half per cent, South Korea’s Kospi increased over one per cent, China’s Shanghai Composite advanced over half per cent and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was marginally up 0.04 per cent. Meanwhile, Singapore’s Straits Times Index fell over 0.2 per cent.
Major European Indices were trading mixed. London’s FTSE fell 0.3 percent and Germany’s DAX lost over 0.2 percent while France’s CAC 40 was trading marginally up 0.04 percent, when reports last came in.
