Major Asian indices displayed mixed trends today. Japan’s Nikkei shed 1.1 per cent, Singapore’s Straits Times index fell 0.33 per cent, and China’s Shanghai Composite Index declined 0.21 per cent. Meanwhile, South Korea’s Kospi jumped over two per cent, and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index advanced over 0.7 per cent.

Major European Indices were trading mixed. London’s FTSE was trading 0.2 per cent up, while Germany’s DAX shed 0.18 per cent and France’s CAC 40 fell 0.11 per cent when reports last came in.
