Major Asian indices logged gains today. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index as well as South Korea’s Kospi, both soared 1.21 percent each, Singapore’s Straits Times index increased over 0.7 percent, Japan’s Nikkei ended up by 0.33 percent and China’s Shanghai Composite Index added almost 0.3 percent. Major European indices were trading in positive territory. France’s CAC surged two percent, London’s FTSE added over half percent, and Germany’s DAX was trading up by 0.1 percent, when reports last came in.
