Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Anurag Thakur hailed athlete Parul Chaudhary for putting up a determined performance and bagging a Gold medal in Women's 3000 metre Steeplechase Final at the Asian Athletics Championships.

In a tweet, Mr Thakur said the National Centre of Excellence trained athlete clocked an impressive time of  9:38.76 to achieve this feat. He hoped that she continues to bring laurels to the country.
