All key Asian stocks ended lower today. South Korea’s Kospi lost 1.6 percent, Singapore’s Straits Times index down by 0.3 percent, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index plunged one percent, Japan’s Nikkei-225 also lost 2.7 percent and China’s Shanghai Composite index declined 0.2 percent. 

All major European markets were also trading lower today. France’s CAC was trading 0.3 percent down, London’s FTSE was 0.5 percent lower and Germany’s DAX was also 0.6 percent down when reports last came in.
