Key Asian stocks ended higher today. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index surged 2.25 percent and Singapore’s Straits Times Index jumped 0.75 percent. South Korea’s Kospi rose 0.57 percent and Japan’s Nikkei-225 added 0.41 percent. While China’s Shanghai Composite ended marginally up.

Major European markets were also trading in green. France’s CAC gained 0.82 percent, London’s FTSE-100 rose 0.78 percent and Germany’s DAX was trading 0.63 percent up when the reports last came in.
