In Asia Cup cricket, Sri Lanka has set a target of 258 runs against Bangladesh in the Super 4 match at Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on 9th September 2023.
 
Chasing the target Bangladesh were 70 for 3 in 15.4 overs when reports last came.
 
After being asked to bat first, Sri Lanka made 257 runs in the stipulated 50 overs. Samarawickrama top scored with 93 runs, while Mendis scored 50.
 
For Bangladesh, Hasan Mahmud and Taskin Ahmed took three wickets each.
On 10th September 2023, India will take on Pakistan in a Super 4 clash at the same venue. The match will start at 3 p.m. IST. A reserve day has been incorporated for the Asia Cup 2023 Super 4’s match between India and Pakistan.
