In Asia Cup, rain interrupted the match between India and Nepal today once again. Chasing a target of 231 to win, India were 17 for 0 in 2.1 overs against Nepal at Pallekele International Stadium in Kandy, Sri Lanka when reports last came in.
 
India made one change, replacing Jasprit Bumrah with Mohammed Shami.  Earlier, India skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl against Nepal in the Asia Cup 2023 match. Team India bounced back with left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja picking three quick wickets and skipper Rohit Sharma taking a sharp catch at first slip against Nepal in the Asia Cup match.
