External Affairs Ministry on Thursday (28th April 2024) reiterated that Arunachal Pradesh was, is and will remain an integral and inalienable part of India. Responding to media queries in New Delhi on Thursday (28th April 2024) afternoon, Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said India’s position on the matter of Arunachal Pradesh has been made very clear time and again. He stressed that China may repeat its baseless claims as many times as they want but that is not going to change India’s position.

On Indian nationals seeking discharge from Russian Army, the spokesperson said, Ministry is constantly in touch with Russian authorities over the matter. He said India has taken it up strongly for them to have its nationals released and discharged as early as possible.
