Arunachal Pradesh Chief Secretary Shri Dharmendra today held a meeting in Itanagar with the Director General Border Roads Lt. General Raghu Srinivasan regarding various land acquisition issues related to road projects in the state. Principal Chief Conservator of Forest & Head of Forest Force P Subramanyam was also present in the meeting. During the meeting issues like joint survey, notification, compensation disbursement, forest clearances were discussed in detail for 22 road projects under Border Road Organisation in nine districts of Arunachal Pradesh.  

The meeting also framed timelines for each of the road projects and senior officers of BRO in the state. The Chief Secretary directed the Land Management Department and Department of Forests & Environment to hold regular meetings in order to ensure that the road projects are not delayed further.
