Arunachal Pradesh is celebrating the 77th Independence Day with great enthusiasm on 15th August 2023. The main function was held at IG Park in Itanagar.

Chief Minister Pema Khandu hoisted the National flag, which was followed by a ceremonial March Past by various uniformed contingents, NCC cadets, Scouts & Guides and school children.
 
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Khandu said the resolve of 'Vikshit Bharat' and 'Vikshit Arunachal' requires commitment from each one to work hand in hand. He said it compels all to contribute to shaping India's journey towards becoming a developed nation.
