In Maharashtra, all arrangements are in place for the polling in 11 Lok Sabha constituencies of the state tomorrow. The office of Chief Electoral Officer in the state has informed that all arrangements have been made keeping in mind the prevailing heatwave conditions in the region. Adequate security arrangements have been made to prevent any untoward incident.

A total of 46,491 Ballot Units and 23,036 Control Units and VVPAT have been arranged for the polling in 11 constituencies tomorrow. Keeping in view the prevailing heatwave conditions, District authorities are making arrangements for sufficient drinking water, ORS packets, shaded tents and waiting room facilities. Polling will be held from 7 am to 6 pm. However, the polling stations will remain open until the voting process of all the voters who are present at the polling station is completed. The Election Commission has made several efforts to increase the voting percentage in the state.
