Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi today felicitated Neeraj Chopra and other Indian Army sports persons for their accomplishments at the Paris Olympics 2024. Neeraj Chopra, who is a Subedar Major in the Indian Army, won a silver medal in javelin, while Subedar Bommandevara Dhiraj secured fourth place in archery.

General Dwivedi said that the athletes’ achievements not only brought accolades but also inspired countless others to pursue excellence in the field of sports. He expressed confidence that the Indian Army sports persons would continue their quest for excellence and achieve greater heights in the coming days.
