Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu Announces State Budget Delay Amid Financial Crisis

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu said that the government has decided to introduce the state budget after two months due to the present financial crisis. The Chief Minister spoke in the Assembly during a discussion on the motion of thanks to the Governor’s address to the joint session of the Assembly today. The Chief Minister said that the TDP, Jana Sena and BJP will collectively make efforts for the development of the state. He said that all systems in the state collapsed due to the misrule of the previous YSR Congress Party government’s misrule. Mr Naidu said that good days are ahead for Amaravati Capital as the Central government allocated Rs 15,000 crore towards Amaravati’s development. During the previous TDP rule, 72 per cent of works of the Polavaram project were completed and efforts are on to complete the project with the cooperation of the Central government, he added. The Chief Minister said that they are going to release three white papers on finance, law and order and excise in the current Assembly session.
