Amit Shah releases 'Aarop Patra' on behalf of BJP against Congress govt in Chhattisgarh

Union Home Minister Amit Shah released an 'Aarop Patra' on behalf of the Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday against the Congress government in Chhattisgarh where assembly polls are scheduled this year.

Releasing it at a function in Raipur, Mr. Shah alleged that during the tenure of the Congress government in Chhattisgarh, corruption, atrocities, scams, cases of conversion and crimes against women have increased

He said that the upcoming election is the election for the golden future of Chhattisgarh.

The public has to decide whether they want a Congress government that commits corruption worth thousands of crores, or a BJP government that paves the way for development. He said that the people also have to decide whether they want a government that promotes religious conversion or a government that protects the culture of the tribal people.

On the other hand, senior congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that the promises made by the Congress government in Chhattisgarh have been fulfilled.

Addressing a state-level convention of Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club at Nava Raipur, Shri Gandhi said that in Chhattisgarh the farmers were given the right price for their produce, their loans were waived off and the electricity bill was also halved.
