Home Minister Amit Shah has expressed distress over the disqualification of wrestler Vinesh Phogat from the 50kg Women’s Wrestling final in the Paris Olympics today. In a social media post, Mr. Shah said that wrestler Phogat’s setback in the Olympics has certainly broken the hopes of millions of Indians. Mr. Shah added that she has a brilliant sporting career, shining with the glory of defeating the world champion. The Minister said that this misfortune is merely an exception in her trailblazing career, from which, she will bounce back to be the winner she always is.
