All five major Asian Indices had a rally today. China’s Shanghai Composite Index rose 2.02 per cent, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index climbed 1.97 per cent, Japan’s Nikkei gained 1.47 per cent, and South Korea’s Kospi was up 1.17 per cent. Singapore’s Straits Times index added 0.41 per cent. All three major European indices were trading in positive territory. France’s CAC 40 was trading 1.39 per cent higher, the U.K.’s FTSE increased by 1.38 per cent, and Germany’s DAX added 0.59 per cent when reports last came in.
