In All England Open Badminton Championships, Women’s Singles pre-quarterfinal match Star Indian shuttler PV Sindhu lost to An Se-young of South Korea in Women’s Singles at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham today. South Korea’s An Se-young won 21-19, 21-11.

In other pre-quarterfinal fixtures this evening, women’s doubles pair of Ashwini Ponnappa and Tanisha Crasto will clash with Zheng Yu and Zhang Shuxian of China.

In Men’s Singles, Indian shuttler Lakshya Sen will take on Anders Antonsen. In Men’s Doubles, Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy will face Indonesian duo of B Maulana and MS Fikri.
