Airports Authority of India inducts two new B-360 types of aircraft into AAI Flight Inspection Fleet

Airports Authority of India has added two new B-360 types of aircraft equipped with an advanced state of Flight Inspection system into the AAI Flight Inspection Fleet today. The induction ceremony took place in the presence of Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, and Minister of State for Civil Aviation Mr. Vijay Kumar Singh at the Safdarjung Airport.
 
Speaking at the event, Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said this initiative will go a long way in improving the accuracy of navigational aid equipment at airports. He also added this is a step ahead towards modernizing Indian civil aviation, ready to play a leading role in International aviation. As per the Ministry, the induction of these new aircraft will help AAI to accomplish the timely flight calibration of the Ground Radio Navigation and visual aids at all airports in the country. It said AAI will also provide necessary support by undertaking flight calibrations in the neighboring countries, which will also lead to the generation of revenue.
