The air quality in Delhi-NCR continues to remain in the severe category, with an average Air Quality Index (AQI) of 447 recorded at 5 this evening. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the AQI in Delhi’s Shadipur and Wazirpur stations was recorded at 468, IGI Airport 467, Punjabi Bagh 457, Nehru Nagar 453 and ITO 449.
Besides, the India Meteorological Department has forecast that Delhi and NCR are likely to experience smog and shallow fog during the night and morning hours over the next 2 days.
