The Association of Bangalore Animation Industry (ABAI) has organised an eight-hour marathon contest under the WAVES challenge to shortlist the finalists for the VFX challenge from the south zone. One winner and a runner-up in each category of professionals and students and Enthusiasts will compete in the finals to be held at the Mumbai WAVES Summit next month. The Secretary ABAI R K Chand informed that they received over 1500 entries for the competition from the south zone. The participants were asked to prepare 30-second videos using VFX on the theme ‘Super Hero Power.’ The Juries had shortlisted 14 best entries out of them, and today they are participating to qualify for the finals.
