Aam Aadmi Party MLAs today held a protest outside the Delhi Assembly alleging that they were not allowed to enter the Assembly premises. Terming the move undemocratic, the Leader of Opposition in the House, Atishi told the media that police officers are saying that since AAP MLAs are suspended they are not allowed to enter the Assembly premises.
Meanwhile, Delhi Minister leader Kapil Mishra said the AAP MLAs were suspended considering their behaviour during the Lieutenant Governor’s address in the House. Talking to the media, he said the House will run as per law. BJP MLA Satish Upadhyay also added that the House will run as per law and if the opposition creates a ruckus, then the Speaker will be forced to take a decision.
