भारत और ऑस्ट्रेलिया के बीच दूसरी टू प्लस टू मंत्री स्तरीय वार्ता कल नई दिल्ली में हुई। रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह और विदेश मंत्री डॉ. एस जयशंकर ने ऑस्ट्रेलिया के रक्षा मंत्री रिचर्ड मार्लेस और विदेश मंत्री पेनी वॉंग के साथ इसकी सह-अध्यक्षता की।

वार्ता में मंत्रियों ने विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में दोनों देशों के संबंध सुदृढ़ बनाने पर चर्चा की। इनमें रक्षा और सुरक्षा, व्यापार और निवेश, महत्वपूर्ण खनिज पदार्थ, ऊर्जा, जलवायु परिवर्तन, विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी, अंतरिक्ष विज्ञान, शिक्षा और दोनों देशों के लोगों के बीच आपसी संबंध प्रगाढ़ करना शामिल हैं। दोनों पक्षों ने क्षेत्रीय और वैश्विक मुद्दों पर भी विचारों का आदान-प्रदान किया। साथ ही लघु पक्षीय और बहुपक्षीय सहयोग मज़बूत करने के लिए समान हित की प्राथमिकताओं पर भी बातचीत की गई।

As only  three days   left for campaigning for the assembly elections in Rajasthan, the   top leaders of all parties will campaign across the state to woo the voters in their favor. The   BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address public meetings in  Anta, Kota city and Karauli. He will Also conduct a road show in Jaipur city in the evening. Special preparations have been made for the four kilometer long road show. Senior  BJP Leader Amit Shah will hold a road show in Sawai Madhopur in the evening after addressing three public meetings today.  

On the other hand, senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will address election rallies in  Udaipur, Jalore and Barmer districts. Congress leader and Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has a program to hold public meetings at six places in five districts.  BSP chief Mayawati, Rashtriya Loktantrik Party chief Hanuman Beniwal, Azad Samaj Party chief Chandrashekhar Azad, Rashtriya Lok Dal chief Jayant Chaudhary, Jannayak Janata Party leader Dushyant Chautala will also hold public meetings for party candidates at various places. Meanwhile, Congress may release its manifesto today.

निर्वाचन आयोग ने सभी पात्र नागरिकों से अपील की है कि वे मतदाता सूची में अपना नाम दर्ज कराएं और अपना विवरण सही कराएं। आयोग ने कहा है कि विशेष सारांश पुनरीक्षण 2024 नौ दिसम्‍बर तक जारी रहेगा। सोशल मीडिया प्‍लेटफॉर्म पर एक पोस्‍ट में आयोग ने कहा है कि इस पुनरीक्षण के अंतर्गत नागरिक, मतदाता सूची में अपना नाम दर्ज करा सकते हैं और  अपने पते के नवीकरण सहित विवरण को सही करवा सकते हैं।

Minister of State for External Affairs, V. Muraleedharan embarked on an official visit to Tanzania. He paid a visit to IIT Madras Zanzibar Campus and conversed with the students and faculty yesterday. Mr Muraleedharan expressed confidence that the Institute will act as a hub for nurturing bright minds, fostering technological innovation and driving regional growth.

During his visit, the Minister is expected to call on Tanzania's President, Hussein Ali Mwinyi and also hold discussions with other Ministers. He will also travel to Dar-es-Salaam for bilateral discussions with the leadership of Tanzania. He will also chair a business meeting along with his Tanzanian counterpart with the objective of increasing bilateral trade and investment flows between the two countries.

केंद्रीय मत्स्य पालन मंत्री परषोत्तम रूपाला आज अहमदाबाद के साइंस सिटी में ग्‍लोबल फिशरीज कान्‍फ्रेंस इंडिया 2023 का उद्घाटन करेंगे। इस अवसर पर गुजरात के मुख्यमंत्री भूपेन्द्र पटेल, मत्स्य पालन राज्य मंत्री डॉ. एल मुरुगन और डॉ. संजीव कुमार बालियान के साथ-साथ लगभग 10 देशों के उच्च स्तरीय प्रतिनिधिमंडल, अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संगठनों, मत्स्य पालन संघों के प्रतिनिधि उपस्थित रहेंगे।

दो दिवसीय सम्मेलन में विभिन्न हितधारकों को एक ही मंच पर लाने की उम्मीद है। सम्मेलन के दौरान 5000 से अधिक प्रतिभागी शामिल होंगे।

The US have denies reports of Israel and Hamas agreeing to a temporary ceasefire deal. In an official statement ,White House spokesperson Adrienne Watson said,  "No deal yet but  US  continue to work hard to get a deal." The White House's National Security Council issued a clarification after  a News daily published a report claiming a five-day pause in Israel Hamas war. The report mentioned that Israel, Hamas and the US have reached a tentative deal that would ensure the release of 50 or more hostages, and a five-day pause in the ongoing fighting.

The Daily also mentioned of a six-page agreement saying the temporary stopping of the ongoing operation in Gaza is also intended to allow a significant amount of humanitarian aid, including fuel, to enter the enclave from Egypt. However, a spokesperson for the Israeli Embassy in Washington also refused to issue any statement on the hostage situation and the reported deal.

संसदीय कार्य मंत्रालय ने संविधान दिवस मनाने के सिलसिले में नागरिकों को संविधान प्रश्‍नोत्तरी और प्रस्‍तावना को ऑनलाइन पढने की प्रतियोगिता में शामिल होने के लिए आमंत्रित किया है। मंत्रालय ने लोगों की अधिकतम भागीदारी सुनिश्चित करने के लिए दो वेब पोर्टल शुरू किए हैं। लोग इन वेबसाइट पर जाकर संविधान की प्रस्‍तावना पढ सकते हैं और प्रतियोगिता में भाग लेने का प्रमाण पत्र प्राप्‍त कर सकते है। मंत्रालय ने कहा है कि भारत की सभी 22 राष्‍ट्रीय भाषाओं में प्रस्‍तावना पढी जा सकती है। संविधान दिवस हर वर्ष 26 नवंबर को मनाया जाता है।

Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav will captain the upcoming five-match T20 series against Australia scheduled to start on November 23 in Visakhapatnam. Ruturaj Gaikwad will be the vice-captain for the first three T20s and Shreyas Iyer will join the squad for the fourth and fifth T20 as vice-captain.

After a draining campaign in the recent ODI World Cup, many senior players like Rohit Sarma, Virat Kohli, Mohd Shami, and Jaspreet Bumrah were not picked up in the 15-member squad. Only Suryakumar, pacer Prasidh Krishna and wicketkeeper batter Ishan Kishan are selected for the T20 series.

IIT Madras' Centre for Research on start ups launches India's first information platform on Incubators and Accelerators on Monday. The platform developed in partnership with YNOS, an IIT Madras incubated start up , contains comprehensive information on incubators and accelerators which play an important role in helping start ups navigate an uncertain entrepreneurial ecosystem. While India had about 1000 active incubators until now the information about them are scattered and not easily available in a single location. Called Incubators this AI powered platform will help start-up founders to identify incubators and accelerators across the Country and shortlist one that best fits their requirements.

The premier Mental health institute NIMHANS will conduct a Workshop for nursing personnel from Namma Clinics, Bengaluru tomorrow. The Workshop will be inaugurated at the Department of Nursing by Dr. K.V. Thrilok Chandra, Special Commissioner [Health], BBMP, Bengaluru.

Namma Clinics were launched earlier this year by the Govt. of Karnataka. Preventive care for the control of non-communicable diseases, NCD is a central goal of Namma Clinics. The increasing incidence of NCDs accounts for 77% of deaths occurring in low- and middle-income countries according to WHO figures released  in 2021. The use of addictive substances, particularly tobacco and alcohol, is recognized as a major and preventable risk factor for many NCDs. In this context, this Workshop aims to train nursing personnel, who form a chief human resource at Namma Clinics, to raise awareness on the adverse health impact of addictive substances and assist individuals in quitting substances.

The increasing use of substances among women, particularly chewable forms of tobacco and even alcohol, is of increasing concern. These substances pose a serious threat to women’s health, coupled with the risk of passing on the substances into the bloodstream of their babies during pregnancy and breastfeeding. In this context, the workshop is particularly aimed at preventing, or helping women to quit, substance use.

In Telangana, the election authorities have ordered 59 thousand 779 Ballot Units to be used on the day of polling on 30th of this month, based on the number of contestants in each constituency.

The office of the Chief Electoral Officer informed that based on the need for additional BU requirements, 14,500 additional BUs were allocated to 16 districts. A total of 59 thousand 779 Ballot Units will be used in this election at 36 thousand 655 polling stations covering 2 thousand 290 candidates. All necessary arrangements including that of security have been made.

In addition, all the ground-level teams are in action and they are knocking on every door to hand over Voter Information Slips  in a big way to assist the voters about their allotted polling stations, particularly for the new voters.

केन्‍द्रीय स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्री मनसुख मांडविया ने कल नई दिल्ली के प्रगति मैदान में चल रहे भारतीय अंतर्राष्ट्रीय व्यापार मेला 2023 में स्वास्थ्य मंडप का दौरा किया।

मेले में श्री मांडविया ने स्‍वास्‍थ्‍य मंत्रालय से संबंधित संस्‍थानों और सरकारी स्वास्थ्य योजनाओं  आयुष्मान भारत डिजिटल मिशन, प्रधानमंत्री जन आरोग्य योजना और राष्ट्रीय जल जनित रोग नियंत्रण केंद्र सहित विभिन्न स्टालों का दौरा किया। इस अवसर पर उन्‍होंने स्वास्थ्य मंडप में उपस्थित कई लाभार्थियों से बातचीत भी की। मंडप के प्रमुख आकर्षणों में से एक आयुष्मान भारत प्रधानमंत्री जन आरोग्य योजना स्टॉल है। पांच चरणों वाली ऑनलाइन प्रक्रिया के माध्यम से कई आगंतुकों के लिए आयुष्मान भारत कार्ड बनाए जा रहे हैं। योजना के बारे में जागरूकता पैदा करने और अधिक लोगों को मुफ्त स्वास्थ्य सेवा प्रदान करने के उद्देश्य से स्टॉल स्थापित किया गया है।

दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति प्रोफेसर योगेश सिंह ने तीन दिवसीय “इंडिया मशरूम समिट 2023” का उद्घाटन किया। कौशल विकास एवं उद्यमिता मंत्रालय के सचिव अतुल कुमार तिवारी बतौर विशिष्ट अतिथि उद्घाटन समारोह के दौरान उपस्थित रहे। समिट में भारतीय और विदेशी उद्योग प्रतिभागियों ने कई स्टाल लगाए हैं। इस मौके पर कौशल विकास और उद्यमिता मंत्रालय के सचिव अतुल कुमार तिवारी ने मशरूम की खेती के क्षेत्र में तकनीकी जानकारी की आवश्यकता पर बल देते हुए उद्यमिता प्रशिक्षण, कौशल कार्यक्रम और वित्त पोषण पर बल दिया।

मुंबई शहर के निवासियों द्वारा कुनबी या कुनबी-मराठा दस्तावेज़ जमा करने के लिए मुंबई जिला कलेक्टर कार्यालय में एक विशेष शिविर की व्यवस्था की गई है। मराठा आरक्षण पर संदीप शिंदे आयोग ने उन दस्तावेजों की सिफारिश की थी और सूचीबद्ध किया था जिनका उपयोग नागरिक अपनी जाति को कुनबी साबित करने के लिए कर सकते हैं। ये दस्तावेज़ कोई भी भूमि, राजस्व, राष्ट्रीय या शैक्षिक रिकॉर्ड हो सकते हैं जिनमें परिवार का नाम कुनबी-मराठा बताया गया हो। यह शिविर आज से 24 नवंबर तक चलेगा।

कोलकाता उच्च न्यायालय ने कल आदेश दिया कि भाजपा 29 नवंबर 2023 को कोलकाता के विक्टोरिया हाउस इलाके के पास अपना प्रदर्शन आयोजित कर सकती है। कोलकाता हाई कोर्ट के जस्टिस राजशेखर मंथा ने इस बात पर नाखुशी जाहिर की है कि पुलिस ने प्रदर्शन की इजाजत क्यों नहीं दी। जस्टिस मंथा ने यह भी बताया है कि कोलकाता पुलिस ने यह कारण नहीं बताया है कि वह भाजपा की सभा पर आपत्ति क्यों जता रही है। 29 नवंबर को प्रदर्शन में भाजपा के वरिष्ठ नेता एवं गृह एवं सहकारिता मंत्री शामिल होंगे।

आज के समय में ज्यादातर लोग ट्रेवल करने के लिए फ्लाइट करते हैं। अगर आप बस या ट्रेन से सफर कर रहे हैं तो चलती गाड़ी को भी आप पकड़ सकते हैं। लेकिन ये फैसलिटी आपको फ्लाइट में नहीं मिलती है। फ्लाइट कैच करने के लिए आपको कई घंटे पहले ही एयरपोर्ट जाना पड़ता है। सिक्युरिटी चेक से लेकर कई प्रॉसेस से गुजरने के बाद इंसान अपनी फ्लाइट कैच करता है। लेकिन क्या हो अगर कोई एयरपोर्ट पहुंचने के बाद अपनी फ्लाइट मिस कर जाए? तो आज हम आपको एक ऐसी महिला के बारे में बताते हैं जो समय से एयरपोर्ट चली गई थी और सारे प्रॉसेस से गुजरने के बाद भी उसकी फ्लाइट छूट गई। अब आप सोच रहे होंगे कि आखिर ऐसा कैसे हो गया? दरअसल, यह घटना है चीन की, और यह महिला शंघाई एयरपोर्ट पर सिक्युरिटी चेक करने के बाद बोर्डिंग गेट पर बैठी थी और मोबाइल पर ऑनलाइन शॉपिंग में वो ऐसी डूबी कि उसकी फ्लाइट ही छूट गई। काफी देर बाद कुछ पैसेंजर्स ने जब उसका ध्यान समय की तरफ दिलाया तो उसके होश उड़ गए, शॉपिंग करते करते कब घंटों बीत गए, उसे पता ही नहीं चला और उसकी फ्लाइट मिस हो गई।

साथियो ग्रे गो-अवे-पक्षी बड़ा ही अद्भुत होता है और उसे जानवरों का ‘रक्षक’ कहा जाए, तो ग़लत नहीं होगा, क्योंकि वह शिकारियों से उनकी रक्षा करता है। वह यह काम ऐसे करता है जैसे कि ‘सिक्योरिटी गार्ड की नौकरी’ कर रहा हो। क्योंकि जब शिकारी जानवरों और पक्षियों पर हमला करने वाले होते हैं तो ये पक्षी ‘गो अवे’ की आवाज निकाल कर उनको अलर्ट कर देता है, जिससे वे सभी भाग खड़े होते हैं। अब इसी पक्षी का एक वीडियो वायरल हो रहा है, जिसमें हम देख सकते हैं कि कैसे ये पक्षी शिकारियों से अपने साथियों की रक्षा करता है। आपको बारे दें कि अफ्रीका में ग्रे गो-अवे-पक्षी अपनी ‘गो अवे’ आवाज के लिए जाना जाता है। शिकारी इस पक्षी को नापसंद कर सकते हैं, क्योंकि इनकी तेज़ आवाज़ें जानवरों को अलर्ट कर सकती हैं, जिससे उनके लिए शिकार करना मुश्किल हो जाता है। आपको बता दें कि ये पक्षी 47-51 सेंटीमीटर लंबा हो सकता है और इसका वजन 200-300 ग्राम हो सकता है। ग्रे गो-अवे-पक्षी पक्षी खुले जंगलों में रहता है, जो जामुन, फूल, पत्तियां, दीमक, बीजपोड, बबूल और घोंघे खाता है। यह अंगोला, नामीबिया, तंजानिया और दक्षिण अफ्रीका सहित मध्य अफ्रीका में पाया जाता है।

दुनियाभर में ऐसे कई टैलेंटेड लोग मौजूद हैं, जो कई बार अपने हैरतअंगेज कारनामों से लोगों को चौंका देते हैं। हाल ही में एक ऐसे ही शख्स का एक गजब का कारनामा इन दिनों सोशल मीडिया पर चर्चा का विषय बना हुआ है। दरअसल, एक व्यक्ति ने हाल ही में दुनिया का सबसे भारी खीरा उगाया है, जिसका वजह जानकर यकीनन आपके भी होश उड़ जाएंगे। द सन की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, इस गार्डनर का नाम विंस सजोडिन बताया जा रहा है, जिन्होंने अपने इस दूसरे रिकॉर्ड तोड़ने वाले कारनामे से लोगों को हैरान कर दिया है। बता दें कि, 2 साल पहले ही विंस सजोडिन ने दुनिया का सबसे भारी मैरो विकसित किया था, जिसका वजन 116.4 किलोग्राम था। अब एक बार फिर उन्होंने अपने गजब के कारनामे से लोगों को हैरत में डाल दिया है। मई में लगाए गए बीज से दुनिया का सबसे भारी खीरा उगाया गया है, जिसे हर दिन लिक्विड फूड दिया गया है। यही वजह थी कि पत्तियों और फल को बढ़ने में मदद मिलती रही। बता दें कि, विंस यूके नेशनल जायंट वेजीटेबल्स चैंपियनशिप में 'मालवर्न ऑटम शो' खीरे को सबके सामने लाए थे। विंस सजोडिन ने बताया कि, उनका परिवार उन्हें 'विंस द वेज' कहता है।इस पर विंस सजोडिन का कहना है कि, 'सब्जियां ताजी हवा के साथ-साथ एक 'सीक्रेट फॉर्मूले' की वजह से इतना बड़ा आकार ले पाती हैं।

DEATH

Today we are remembering Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman on his death anniversary. He was an Indian physicist known for his work in the field of light scattering. Using a spectrograph that he developed, he and his student K. S. Krishnan discovered that when light traverses a transparent material, the deflected light changes its wavelength and frequency. This phenomenon, a hitherto unknown type of scattering of light, which they called "modified scattering" was subsequently termed the Raman effect or Raman scattering. C V Raman received the 1930 Nobel Prize in Physics for the discovery and was the first Asian to receive a Nobel Prize in any branch of science. The Raman effect was discovered on 28 February 1928. The day is celebrated annually by the Government of India as the National Science Day.

यदुनाथ सिंह (अंग्रेज़ी: Jadunath Singh, जन्म: 21 नवम्बर, 1916 - शहादत: 6 फ़रवरी, 1948) परमवीर चक्र से सम्मानित भारतीय सैनिक थे। इन्हें यह सम्मान सन 1948 में मरणोपरांत मिला।

नायक यदुनाथ सिंह का जन्म 21 नवम्बर 1916 को शाहजहाँपुर (उत्तर प्रदेश) के गाँव खजूरी में हुआ था। इनके पिता बीरबल सिंह एक किसान थे। यदुनाथ की पढ़ाई-लिखाई गाँव के स्कूल में शुरू तो हुई लेकिन उनका पढ़ाई में मन नहीं लगा। उन्हें तो खेल-कूद का ही जबरदस्त नशा था। वह गाँव में सबकी मदद के लिए हाजिर रहते थे। यदुनाथ में देशभक्ति की भावना बचपन से थी, साथ ही वह हनुमान के भक्त थे और लोग उन्हें 'हनुमान भक्त' कहकर बुलाते थे।

21 नवम्बर 1941 को यदुनाथ सिंह को मनचाहा काम मिल गया। उस समय वह मात्र 26 वर्ष के थे और उन्होंने फौज में प्रवेश किया। उन्हें राजपूत रेजिमेंट में लिया गया। वहीं उनको जुलाई 1947 में लान्स नायक के रूप में तरक्की मिली और इस तरह 6 जनवरी 1948 को वह टैनधार में अपनी टुकड़ी की अगुवाई कर रहे थे और इस जोश में थे कि वह नौशेरा तक दुश्मन को नहीं पहुँचने देंगे। उस दिन नायक यदुनाथ सिंह मोर्चे पर केवल 9 लोगों की टुकड़ी के साथ डटे हुए थे कि दुश्मन ने धावा बोल दिया। यदुनाथ अपनी टुकड़ी के लीडर थे। उन्होंने अपनी टुकड़ी की जमावट ऐसी तैयार की, कि हमलावरों को हार कर पीछे हटना पड़ा।

Today is also the death anniversary of Ruma Guha Thakurta, she was an Indian actress and singer primarily associated with Bengali language films. She founded Calcutta Youth Choir in 1958. She was a trained vocalist and a dancer. She started training in music at Swarabitan in Kolkata, which had been established by her parents. In later years, she studied under Abdul Rehman Khan of Patiala gharana, the Ustad of Nirmla Devi and Lakshmi Shankar in Bombay.

She married Kishore Kumar in 1951 and had a son Amit Kumar by this marriage. She made her acting debut in the film Jwar Bhata (1944) at age ten. This was the debut film of Dilip Kumar. So lets hear one of her songs and pay our tributes.

गुरमीत बावा (अंग्रेज़ी: Gurmeet Bawa, जन्म- 18 फ़रवरी, 1944; मृत्यु- 21 नवम्बर, 2021) प्रसिद्ध भारतीय पंजाबी गायिका थीं। उनका पंजाबी लोक गायन में 45 सेकेंड की हेक का रिकॉर्ड था। गुरमीत बावा ने कई राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय सम्मान अपने कॅरियर में प्राप्त किए। वह 'जुगनी' गाने वाले सिंगर्स में से एक थीं। साथ ही वह पहली पंजाबी महिला गायिका थीं, जिन्होंने दूरदर्शन पर गाने गाए थे। भारत सरकार ने उन्हें मरणोपरान्त पद्म भूषण (2022) से सम्मानित किया है।

सन 1991 में पंजाब सरकार ने गुरमीत बावा को 'केंद्रीय अवॉर्ड' से सम्मानित किया था। इसके अलावा उन्हें पंजाब नाटक अकादमी से 'संगीत पुरस्कार', मध्य प्रदेश की सरकार से 'राष्ट्रीय देवी अहिल्या अवॉर्ड' और पंजाबी लैंग्वेज डिपार्टमेंट से 'शिरोमणि गायिका अवॉर्ड' से नवाजा गया था।

Guneet is the founder of Sikhya Entertainment a boutique film production house that produced notable films like Gangs of Wasseypur - Part 1, Gangs of Wasseypur - Part 2, Peddlers, The Lunchbox, Masaan, Zubaan and Pagglait.
