रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह और विदेश मंत्री डॉ. एस जयशंकर नई दिल्ली में आज ऑस्ट्रेलियाई रक्षा मंत्री रिचर्ड मार्लेस और विदेश मंत्री पेनी वोंग के साथ दूसरी भारत-ऑस्ट्रेलिया टू प्‍लस टू वार्ता करेंगे।  बैठक में सामरिक, रक्षा और सुरक्षा संबंधी व्यापक मुद्दों पर चर्चा किए जाने की संभावना है। इसके अलावा भारत-ऑस्ट्रेलिया व्यापक रणनीतिक साझेदारी के तहत सहयोग को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए आपसी हित के द्विपक्षीय, क्षेत्रीय और वैश्विक मामलों को भी शामिल किया जाएगा। रक्षा मंत्री का श्री रिचर्ड मार्लेस के साथ द्विपक्षीय बैठक करने का भी कार्यक्रम है।

Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh and External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar will hold the second India-Australia 22 Dialogue with Australian Defence Minister Richard Marles and Foreign Minister Penny Wong in New Delhi today. The Ministers are expected to discuss a wide range of strategic, defence and security issues. These discussions would cover bilateral, regional and global matters of mutual interest, to further advance cooperation under the India-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. Both sides will also exchange views on shared priorities for strengthening minilateral and multilateral cooperation. Raksha Mantri is also scheduled to have a bilateral meeting with his counterpart who had last visited India in June last year within a few weeks of assuming his present office. Dr Jaishankar and his Australian counterpart will hold the 14th Foreign Ministerial Framework Dialogue on 21st November to take stock of cooperation under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. They will also exchange views on regional and global issues of mutual interest.

राष्‍ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मु आज ओडिसा के बारीपदा में अखिल भारतीय संताली लेखक संघ के 36वें वार्षिक सम्‍मेलन और साहित्‍य महोत्‍सव के उद्घाटन समारोह में भाग लेंगी। राष्‍ट्रपति अपनी यात्रा के दौरान कुलियाना में एकलव्‍य आदर्श आवासीय विद्यालय का उद्घाटन भी करेंगी। यात्रा के दूसरे दिन राष्‍ट्रपति पहाडपुर गांव में कौशल प्रशिक्षण केन्‍द्र का उद्घाटन करेंगी। बाद में वह बदाम-पहाड रेलवे स्‍टेशन जाएगी और तीन नई रेलगाडियों को हरी झंडी दिखाएगी।

With the conclusion of single-phase assembly election in Madhya Pradesh and two-phase polling in Chhattisgarh, political parties have now shifted their focus towards the upcoming assembly elections in Rajasthan and Telangana. They have upped the ante to woo voters with few days left for assembly elections in the two states. In Rajasthan, Senior BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi held election rallies in Churu and Jhunjhunu districts yesterday. He spoke about the work being done by the Central Government and said that in the last decade the country has progressed in every field.  Congress leader Rahul Gandhi addressed public meetings in Bundi and Dausa. Praising various schemes of the state government, he said that the state government has done excellent work for education, health and employment. Polling for 199 assembly seats in Rajasthan will be held on 25th of this month.  In Telangana, top leaders of major political parties held public meetings and road shows yesterday. The 119-member state legislative assembly will go to polls on 30th of this month.

54वां भारतीय अंतर्राष्ट्रीय फिल्म महोत्सव-आईएफएफआई-ईफ्फी आज से गोवा में शुरू हो रहा है। उद्घाटन समारोह शाम 5 बजे बम्बोलिम के श्यामा प्रसाद मुखर्जी इंडोर स्टेडियम में आयोजित किया जाएगा। सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्री अनुराग सिंह ठाकुर कार्यक्रम का उद्घाटन करेंगे। नौ दिन तक चलने वाले इस महोत्‍सव में दो सौ 70 फिल्में प्रदर्शित की जाएंगी।

In Jammu and Kashmir, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha flagged off “Gyanodaya Express- College on Wheels”, the first-of-its-kind mobile educational endeavor, from Vaishno Devi Railway Station, Katra yesterday. The train will travel through different states, and it will be an educational pilgrimage for the students. The College on Wheels is inspired by the life of Mahatma Gandhi, where he undertook epic tour of the country by train, interacted with people from all walks of life and awakened the society with universal and eternal values of Satya and Ahimsa. It is aligned with the visionary National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and seeks to propel a shift from job seekers to job creators, fostering a culture of idea incubation, innovation, and skill development.

And Australia lifted the ICC Men’s Cricket world cup defeating India by six wickets in the final at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad last night. Chasing a modest target of 241 runs, Australia completed the task in 43 overs for the loss of four wickets with a gritty century knock of Travis Head, after some initial setbacks. He made 137 and was declared Player of the Match. Virat Kohli was awarded with the "Player of the Tournament" title for his exemplary performance. He scored a total of record 765 runs in 11 innings, the highest-ever runs scored by a batter in a single edition of the World Cup. Mohammed Shami finished off as the leading wicket taker of the World Cup 2023. In seven matches, he scalped 24 wickets.

The Metrowater Managing Director T.G.Vinay has said that a new app has been introduced for complaining about poor water supply, ordering water or sewerage connections, all can be done via a single mobile application in four months. Metrowater is developing the application for Rs. 4 crore. The current digital service of metrowater has multiple glitches . The present grievance redress app, launched in 2019 has no escalation feature for delays nor reflects the resolution of the complaints. In the new app, people can escalate complaints up the hierarchy -from assistant executive engineers, to area engineers and then to superintending engineers. After solving the complaint, the official in charge has to post a geotagged photo for the complainant to see.

Union Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi addressed the people during Viksit Bharat Sankalpa Yatra held at the Neralakuppe gram panchayat in the Hunsur taluk of Mysuru district yesterday in Karnataka. She said the AV vans touring the state are creating awareness about the benefits of Ujwala, Kisan Sammaan and Gareeb Kalyan Yojana. She said Toilet construction taken up across the country has provided the women her dignity and inculcated hygienic practice. Meenakshi Lekhi said Sickle cell anaemia among the Tribals is countered through medicinal interventions. Pradhan Manthri Jan Suraksha Yojana certificates, Kisan Credit cards, Ujwala free gas cylinders were distributed to the beneficiaries.

In Hyderabad, over 1800 polling stations have been identified in the district as critical polling stations for the Assembly polls scheduled to take place on 30th of this month. There are 4,119 polling stations in 15 assembly constituencies in the district. Officials informed that the Central Armed Forces will be deployed at these critical polling stations to ensure the smooth and secure conduct of the elections. In addition to the deployment of armed forces, other measures are being implemented to enhance security during the polls. Micro observers will be deployed at sensitive polling stations, and live webcasting will be conducted to monitor the polling process.

सिद्धार्थ - अब नजर डालते हैं दिल्‍ली, मुंबई, और कोलकाता के समाचारों पर। बात सबसे पहले राजधानी दिल्‍ली की -

वायु गुणवत्‍ता में सुधार होने के बाद दिल्‍ली में ग्रेप-4 की पाबंदिया हटा ली गई है। लेकिन ग्रेप-वन, ग्रेप-टू और ग्रेप-थ्री की पाबंदिया अभी लागू रहेंगी। यह जानकारी दिल्‍ली के पर्यावरण मंत्री गोपाल राय ने दी। उन्‍होंने कहा कि दिल्‍ली में वायु गुणवत्‍ता में सुधार हुआ है, लेकिन अभी भी सतर्क रहने की  जरूरत है। उन्‍होंने ये भी बताया कि अभी बीएस 3 पेट्रोल और बीएस 4 डीजल गाड़ियों के संचालन पर प्रतिबंध जारी रहेगा। फिलहाल केवल सीएनजी, इलेक्ट्रिक और बीएस-6 बसें ही दिल्‍ली में प्रवेश कर सकती है।

प्रगति मैदान में आयोजित भारतीय अंतरराष्‍ट्रीय व्‍यापार मेला कल से आम लोगों के लिए खुल गया है। प्रगति मैदान में 27 नवंबर तक चलने वाला इस मेले में प्रवेश के लिए वयस्कों के लिए टिकट का मूल्‍य अस्सी रुपये और बच्चों के लिए चालीस रुपये निर्धारित किया गया है। छुट्टी वाले दिनों में टिकट का मूल्‍य व्यस्कों के लिए 150 रुपये और बच्चों के लिए 60 रुपये है। आईटीपीओ की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट के अलावा दिल्ली मेट्रो के चुनिंदा 55 मेट्रो स्टेशनों से, मेले के टिकट खऱीदे जा सकते हैं। लोग, सुबह दस बजे से शाम साढ़े पांच बजे तक मेले में प्रवेश कर सकते हैं। बुजुर्गों और दिव्यांगजनों के लिए मेले में प्रवेश निशुल्क है। आईटीपीओ की ओर से जनता से अपील की गई है कि वह मेले में आने के लिए अधिक से अधिक सार्वजनिक परिवहन के साधनों का प्रयोग करें, ताकि किसी प्रकार की परेशानी न हो। इसके साथ ही यह भी सलाह दी गई है कि मेट्रो से आने के लिए सुप्रीम कोर्ट मेट्रो स्‍टेशन पर उतरें। हालांकि, मंडी हाउस मेट्रो स्‍टेशन से शटल की व्‍यवस्‍था भी है, जो टिकट धारकों या फिर पासधारकों को सीधे मेले में अंदर  लेकर आएगी।

बढ़ते है अगले खबर की और -

राजधानी में चौबीस घंटे दुकान संचालित करने वाले एक प्रस्ताव को दिल्ली सरकार ने कल मंजूरी दे दी है। इस प्रस्ताव के अंतर्गत 83 दुकानें दिल्ली के अलग-अलग हिस्सों में चौबीस घंटे अपनी सेवाएं दे सकेंगी। राजधानी में वर्तमान में छह सौ से अधिक दुकानें और व्यवसायिक प्रतिष्ठान 24 घंटे संचालित हो रहे हैं।

महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे ने कल ठाणे में भारत रत्न लता दीनानाथ मंगेशकर संगीत विद्यालय की आधारशिला रखी। श्री शिंदे ने कहा कि भारतीय संगीत की समृद्ध विरासत को अगली पीढ़ी तक पहुंचाने के लिए लता मंगेशकर संगीत विद्यालय का नेतृत्व किया जाएगा। राज्य सरकार इस प्रयास का पुरजोर समर्थन करेगी।

पश्चिमी नौसेना कमान मुंबई ने कल मुंबई के आज़ाद मैदान में हाफ मैराथन का आयोजन किया। "स्वच्छ तट और स्वच्छ समुद्र, स्वस्थ जीवन बनाते हैं" के संदेश के साथ, लगभग 16 हजार लोगों ने 'मरीन ड्राइव' के साथ इस मैराथॉन में हिस्‍सा लिया। नौसेना ने इस कार्यक्रम के सफल आयोजन के लिए महाराष्ट्र सरकार, मुंबई पुलिस के प्रति आभार व्यक्त किया है।

छठ पूजा की धूम कोलकाता में भी देखने को मिली। पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी कल कोलकाता में गंगा के टोकता-घाट और दोई-घाट तट पर छठ पूजा उत्सव में शामिल हुईं। मुख्यमंत्री ने लोगों को इस त्योहारी सीजन की शुभकामनाएं दी।

राजधानी दिल्ली में आज सुबह हल्‍का कोहरा छाया रहा। न्‍यूनतम तापमान 12 डिग्री सेल्सियस दर्ज किया गया, जबकि अधिकतम तापमान 27 डिग्री के आसपास रहेगा।

मुंबई में सुबह धुंध के बाद दिन में आसमान साफ रहेगा। न्‍यूनतम तापमान 22 डिग्री सेल्सियस रहा और अधिकतम तापमान 36 डिग्री के बीच रहेगा।

वहीं कोलकाता में शहर का न्‍यूनतम तापमान 20 डिग्री सेल्सियस जबकि अधिकतम तापमान 30 डिग्री सेल्सियस के आस पास रहेगा। कोलकाता में आंशिक रूप से बादल छाए रहेंगे। ये तो बात हुई दिल्ली, मुंबई और कोलकाता के मौसम की।

Hyderabad is expected to have partly cloudy sky with haze. The temperature will hover between a minimum of 20 degrees and a maximum of 31 degrees Celsius.

सिद्धार्थ - श्रोताओं कार्यक्रम आज सवेरे में अब वक्‍त हो चला है दुनिया रंग-बिरंगी का जिसमें हम उन खबरों को आप तक लाते हैं जो थोड़ा हट कर होती हैं साथ ही खबरों के साथ गीतों की जुगलबंदी इसे और भी खास बना देती है। आज दुनिया रंग-बिरंगी आप तक ला रहे हैं हमारे सहयोगी निखिल कुमार।

श्रोताओ दुनिया में कई तरह की जनजातियां रहती हैं और कई जनजातियों के बारे में लोगों को जानकारी भी नहीं है। दुनिया की मॉडर्निटी से इनका कोई वास्ता नहीं होता और ये सबसे अलग अकेले रहते हैं। लेकिन कुछ जनजातियों ने समय के साथ अपनी लाइफस्टाइल को बदल लिया है। उन्होंने समय के साथ अपने अंदर बदलाव किया और इसका नतीजा यह है कि उनकी लाइफ स्टाइल के बारे में दुनिया को पता चल पाया है। वैसे तो भारत में भी कई जनजाति के लोग रहते हैं। आज हम आपको सेंट्रल इंडिया में रहने वाले एक विशेष ट्राइब के बारे में बताने जा रहे हैं। इस जनजाति के लोगों ने अपनी लाइफ भगवान राम को डेडिकेट कर दी है। इनके पूरे शरीर पर राम नाम के टैटू भरे होते हैं। हालांकि इस ट्राइब में रामनामी अब काफी कम बचे हैं। ये लोग मोर के पंख का मुकुट पहनते हैं और दिन भर राम नाम जपते रहते हैं। यहां के एक बुज़ुर्ग का कहना है कि ट्राइब के जवान लोग अब टैटू बनवाने से कतराते हैं। ऐसे में उन्हें डर है कि उनके जाने के बाद ये प्रथा समाप्त ही हो जाएगी। एक अन्य महिला रामनामी ने यह भी बताया कि वो 90 साल की है और उनके पति ने शरीर पर एक हजार से ज्यादा बार राम नाम लिखा था। लेकिन अब ऐसे काफी कम लोग ही बचे हैं।

जीपीएस यानी ग्‍लोबल पोजिशन‍िंग सिस्‍टम। एक ऐसी चीज, जिसके जर‍िए हम धरती पर मौजूद किसी शख्‍स या चीज की लोकेशन जान सकते हैं। आमतौर पर ऐप के जर‍िए चल‍िए वाली कैब इनका इस्‍तेमाल करती हैं। ताकि पैसेंजर इसके वाहन को ट्रेस कर सकें। लेकिन अगर हम आपसे कहें कि दुनिया में एक ऐसा देश भी है, जहां पर गाय-भैंस चराने वाले चरवाहे भी जीपीएस का इस्‍तेमाल कर रहे हैं तो आप चौंकेंगे तो नहीं। यो आज हम आपको इस देश के बारे में बताने जा रहे हैं। जिसका नाम है स्पेन। यहां पर हर साल गर्मियों के मौसम में दक्ष‍िणी स्‍पेन के मैदानों में पशु प्रवासन शुरू होता है। चरने के लिए घास की तलाश में पशु एक क्षेत्र से दूसरे क्षेत्र की लंबी दूरी तय करते हैं। कभी-कभी तो ये 300 किलोमीटर दूर तक पहुंच जाते हैं और 15 दिनों तक घूमते रहते हैं। ऐसे वक्‍त में चरवाहों के लिए अपने पशुओं की निगरानी करना बहुत मुश्क‍िल होता है। इसल‍िए अब यहां के सभी चरवाहे जीपीएस सिस्‍टम से लैस हो रहे हैं, ताकि पशुओं की लोकेशन पर नजर रख सकें। यह गतिविधि दरअसल सद‍ियों पुरानी एक सांस्‍कृत‍िक विरासत है। गर्म महीनों में पशु काफी दूर तक हरे भरे घास चरने के लिए जाते हैं और जब सर्दियों में पहाड़ बर्फ से ढंक जाते हैं तो पशु दक्षिण के गर्म मैदानों में लौट आते हैं। लेकिन ऐसे में कई बार जानवर खो जाते हैं, तो अब इन समस्‍याओं से निपटने के लिए यहाँ के चरवाहे जीपीएस ट्रैकिंग का नया तरीका अपना रहे हैं।

जनाब शाकाहारी व्‍यंजनों की बात हो तो भारत के एक से एक व्‍यंजन आपको लुभाते होंगे। जिनका नाम जुबां पर आते ही मन ललचा उठता है। दुनिया के सर्वश्रेष्ठ व्यंजनों की लिस्ट में कई भारतीय व्‍यंजनों ने अपनी जगह बनाई है। इनमें आलू गोबी, राजमा चावल, मटर पनीर, सरसो का साग के अलावा कई व्‍यंजन हैं। यही वजह है कि एक से एक शाकाहारी रेस्‍टोरेंट आपको यहां मिल जाएंगे। लेकिन क्‍या आपको पता है कि दुनिया का सबसे पुराना शाकाहारी रेस्‍टोरेंट कहाँ पर है? अगर आप भारत सोच रहे हैं तो यकीन मान‍िए आप 100 फीसदी सही नहीं हैं। गिनीज बुक ऑफ वर्ल्‍ड रिकॉर्ड के मुताबिक, दुनिया का सबसे पुराना शाकाहारी रेस्‍टोरेंट स्विट्ज़रलैंड के ज्‍यूरिख में है। हौस हिल्ट के नाम से मशहूर यह रेस्‍टोरेंट पिछले कई सौ साल से आबाद है। ये पूरी तरह से शाकाहारी है और इसने पूरे यूरोप के खाने के अंदाज़ को बदल दिया है। इसकी शुरुआत ज़्यूरिख के हिल्ट परिवार ने 1898 में की थी, तब से यह खाने के शौकीनों का पसंदीदा रेस्‍टोरेंट बना हुआ है। अब तक इस परिवार की ना जाने कितनी पीढ़ियां अपने पुरखों की विरासत संभाल रही हैं और काफी कामयाब भी हैं। बीबीसी की एक रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, शुरुआत में यहां सिर्फ स्‍थानीय पकवान मिला करते थे। लेकिन अब यहां भारत के तमाम शाकाहारी पकवान मिलते हैं।

आज ही जयंती है सुप्रसिद्ध धावक मिल्‍खा सिंह ने।

वे भारत के ऐसे प्रसिद्ध धावक थे जिन्हें लोग फ्लाइंग सिक्ख के नाम से जानते हैं। सन 1956 में मेलबर्न में आयोजित हुए ओलंपिक खेलों में उन्होंने पहली बार 200 मीटर और 400 मीटर की रेस में भाग लिया था। इसके बाद उसी साल तोक्यो में आयोजित हुए एशियाई खेलों में उन्होंने 200 मीटर और 400 मीटर की दौड़ में भी स्वर्ण पदक अपने नाम किया।
