बिल्‍कुल प्रमोद लेकिन इससे पहले कि हम मुख्‍य समाचारों का सिलसिला शुरू करें। अपने श्रोताओं को जानकारी दे दें कि आज International Translation Day यानि की अंतरराष्ट्रीय अनुवाद दिवस है जो  हर साल 30 सितंबर को सेंट जेरोम के पर्व पर मनाया जाता है। सेंट जेरोम बाइबिल के अनुवादक थे जिन्हें 'अनुवादकों का संरक्षक संत' माना जाता है। 1953 में स्थापित होने के बाद से यह दिवस एफआईटी यानि की अंतर्राष्ट्रीय अनुवादकों के अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संघ द्वारा प्रोत्साहित किया गया है। 1991 में एफआईटी ने आधिकारिक तौर पर मान्यता प्राप्त अंतरराष्ट्रीय अनुवाद दिवस का विचार शुरू किया, ताकि दुनिया भर में अनुवाद समुदाय की एकता को बढ़ावा मिले।

यह दिवस विभिन्न देशों में अनुवाद कार्य का महत्व प्रदर्शित करने के लिए मनाया जाता है। क्योंकि भूमंडलीकरण की प्रगति के युग में अनुवाद कार्य तेज़ी से बढ़ रहा है।

राष्‍ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मु ने संसद के विशेष सत्र में पारित महिला आरक्षण विधेयक को मंजूरी दे दी है। केन्‍द्र सरकार ने इस संबंध में अधिसूचना जारी कर दी है। इसे नारी शक्ति वंदन अधिनियम का नाम दिया गया है। राष्‍ट्रपति की मंजूरी के बाद अब यह विधेयक कानून बन गया है। इसके अंतर्गत लोकसभा और राज्‍य विधानसभाओं में महिलाओं के लिए 33 प्रतिशत सीटें आरक्षित की गई हैं। अनुसूचित जाति और जनजाति के लिए मौजूदा कोटे के अन्‍दर इन जातियों की महिलाओं के लिए 33 प्रतिशत आरक्षण भी दिया गया है।

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said yesterday that the ongoing problem with Canada evolves around the its permissiveness regarding terrorism, extremism, and violence. Addressing a press conference in Washington DC on his concluding 5-day visit to the US, Jaishankar said the larger issue in the ongoing India-Canada row is the “permissiveness” regarding the incidents of violence and extremism in Canada, which has been flagged by India. Stating that he is aware of US’ reaction on the ongoing India-Canada row, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said yesterday that both sides have articulated each other’s views on the matter. He said, in India, it will not come as a surprise to anybody if one tells them that there are people in Canada who are advocating violence, separatism, there is a history out there. All Indians notice, I suspect very few Americans know this, he added. The Minister further added that it is very important that the US has India’s point of view on the matter as well, because Washington has good relations with both Ottawa and New Delhi.

The Minister remarked that when Americans look at Canada, they see something, when Indians look at Canada, they see something else and that’s a part of the problem, so it’s very important that it should be talked out with the Americans as they are very close to India and they have our point of view on the matter as well.

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar highlighted the incidents of threats, violence, and intimidation against Indian diplomats and missions in Canada and questioned whether the reaction would have been the same if a similar situation had occurred in any other country.  He stressed, freedom of speech does not extend to incitement to violence.

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी आज नई दिल्‍ली में देश के आकांक्षी प्रखंड के लिए सप्‍ताह भर चलने वाले विशेष कार्यक्रम की शुरूआत करेंगे। इस कार्यक्रम को संकल्‍प सप्‍ताह का नाम दिया गया है। यह आकांक्षी प्रखंड कार्यक्रम के प्रभावशाली कार्यान्‍वयन से जुडा है। इसका उद्देश्‍य ना‍गरिकों के जीवन की गुणवत्ता बढाने के लिए प्रखंड स्‍तर पर शासन में सुधार करना है। राजधानी के भारत मंडपम में देशभर के पंचायत तथा प्रखंड स्‍तर के करीब तीन हजार प्रतिनिधि इस कार्यक्रम में हिस्‍सा लेगें।

22nd Law Commission has recommended the government to retain the existing age of consent under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences, POCSO Act. In its report, the Commission noted that reducing it might have damaging effects on fighting child marriage and child trafficking. The current age of consent in India is 18 years. It also said that certain amendments need to be brought in the POCSO Act to remedy the situation in cases where there is tacit approval in fact though not consent in law on part of the child aged between 16 to 18 years. It opined that such cases do not merit to be dealt with the same severity as the cases that were ideally imagined to fall under the POCSO Act. The Commission submitted the Report titled “Age of Consent under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012” to the Law Ministry on 27th of this month.

सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्री अनुराग सिंह ठाकुर ने कहा है कि अवैध व्‍यापार में वृद्धि के कारण पचास खरब डॉलर की अर्थव्‍यवस्‍था बनने की दिशा में भारत की प्रगति पर प्रतिकूल असर पडा है। नई दिल्‍ली में अनुराग सिंह ठाकुर ने कहा कि हाल के समय में अवैध व्‍यापार में वृद्धि हुई है जो भारत और अफ्रीका जैसी विकासशील अर्थव्‍यवस्‍थाओं को प्रभावित कर रही है। उन्‍होंने कहा कि इस प्रकार के अवैध व्‍यापार को कम करने के लिए इन अनैतिक अभ्‍यासों से निपटना और सरकारी तंत्र को समर्थन देना चिन्‍ता का विषय बना हुआ है। श्री ठाकुर ने कहा कि उपभोक्‍ताओं, समाज, सरकार और व्‍यापार पर पडने वाली इसकी गहरी प्रतिक्रिया और इस मुद्दे की तीव्रता को लेकर गहरी समझ तथा जागरूकता लाने की आवश्‍यकता है। श्री ठाकुर ने कहा कि सरकार ने कानून बनाया है। यह न केवल अन्‍तर्राष्‍ट्रीय प्रतिबद्धताओं के अनुरूप है बल्कि इसमें एक प्रगतिशील दृष्टिकोण भी है। उन्‍होंने अन्‍तर-सरकारी सहयोग की आवश्‍यकता की बात कही। इसके अलावा उन्‍होंने अवैध व्‍यापार को नियंत्रित करने के लिए एक व्‍यापक रणनीति बनाने की दिशा में सार्वजनिक-निजी साझेदारी का उल्‍लेख भी किया।

India has achieved 33 medals- eight gold, 12 silver and 13 bronze at the Asian Games 2023 so far in Hangzhou, China. The country currently stands at the 4th position on the scoreboard. There are several exciting events lined up today. In tennis, mixed doubles pair, Rohan Bopanna and Rutuja Bhosale, are all set to face Chinese Taipei's Liang En-shuo and Huang Tsung-hao in the finals. The Commonwealth Games gold medalist, Mirabai Chanu, will start with her campaign in the women’s 49kg weightlifting. Reigning Women’s Heptathlon champion, Swapna Barman, will also begin her campaign later today. India has all eyes on Barman for bringing home a medal as she is a 2018 Asian games gold winner.

Off to a good start, India’s Sarabjot Singh and Divya Thadigol secured their place in the gold medal match of the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team event after securing the top spot with 577 points after 3 series of shots. The pair will face China for gold.

India and Pakistan will face off each other in the Preliminary Men’s Pool A match at 4 pm today. The win over Japan the previous day has boosted the country’s hopes. The Sunil Chhetri led team is hopeful of adding another win to its kitty.

वायुसेना के गठन की 91वीं वर्षगांठ के अवसर पर आज मध्‍य प्रदेश की राजधानी भोपाल में फ्लाई पास्‍ड का आयोजन होगा। इसमें कई विमान शामिल होंगे। इस अवसर पर राज्‍यपाल मंगू भाई पटेल मुख्‍य अतिथि होंगे। कार्यक्रम में वायुसेना प्रमुख एयर-चीफ-मार्शल वी एस चौधरी सहित कई गणमान्‍य व्‍यक्ति शामिल होंगे।

Chennai Metro Rail Limited may soon open a new pedestrian subway in front of Chennai Central railway station. A release said there was a delay in opening the subway due to the meticulous nature of the task undertaken. The subway will link Chennai Central Station with Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital. The subway, strategically located opposite to the Central Railway station has been constructed with escalators and lifts to facilitate seamless movement of metro rail passengers and the public.

Moving on to  Bengaluru

The Governor of Karnataka Thaawarchand Gehlot, felicitated 6 Karnataka players who contributed significantly to India's triumph in the Gold and Silver Medal-winning teams at the IBSA World Cricket Tournament for the Blind at a ceremony held at Raj Bhavan in Bengaluru. Commending the Indian Blind Cricket Team for their remarkable performance that elevated India's global standing, Governor Gehlot expressed immense pride in Karnataka's players who played pivotal roles in this achievement. In a generous gesture, the Governor announced a cash incentive for the outstanding players. The captain of the Indian Blind Women's Cricket Team, Varsha U, hailing from Karnataka, along with team members Deepika and Gangavva, will receive Rs 51,000 each for their outstanding contributions. Similarly, the players of the Men's Team from Karnataka, Prakash J, Sunil Kumar, and Basappa Waddagol, will each be awarded Rs 41,000 for their exceptional performance. The ceremony witnessed the presence of eminent dignitaries, including Mahantesh, President of the Cricket Association for Blind in India.

Telangana State chief Secretary, Santhi Kumari has directed the officials to be prepared with all details ahead of the three-day visit of the Election Commission of India to the poll-bound state. Chief Election Commissioner of India Rajiv Kumar along with other EC members will be in Hyderabad from 3rd to 5th of next month. The Chief Secretary chaired a meeting in Hyderabad yesterday with senior officers to take stock of the arrangements made for the EC’s visit. An official release stated that the Chief Secretary directed the officials to demonstrate the readiness of the state government towards conducting the elections. Stating that the elections are to be held in a couple of months and thorough knowledge of poll-related issues in this regard should be displayed and officials should give all the details in a uniform manner. She further suggested to officials that the details on integrated border check posts should also be made available to the ECI. She further informed that the ECI will hold meetings with enforcement agencies, district collectors, SPs/CPs and also with the senior officials of the state government during their visit.

रवि - जी हां अब नजर डालते है राजधानी दिल्ली, मुम्बई और कोलकाता के समाचारों पर।

दिल्‍ली सरकार ने राजधानी में सर्दी के मौसम में वायु प्रदूषण को नियंत्रित करने के लिए कल 15 सूत्रीय विंटर एक्शन प्लान की घोषणा की। दिल्‍ली के मुख्‍यमंत्री अरविन्‍द केजरीवाल ने संवाददाताओं को बताया कि पिछले कुछ वर्षों में राजधानी में प्रदूषण के स्तर में करीब 30 प्रतिशत की कमी आई है। उन्‍होंने बताया कि विंटर एक्शन प्लान के अंतर्गत दिल्ली में चिंहित 13 हॉटस्पॉट के लिए अलग-अलग कार्य योजना तैयार की गई है। इसके तहत इस बार दिल्ली के 5 हजार एकड़ से अधिक खेतों में बॉयो डी-कंपोजर का निःशुल्क छिड़काव किया जाएगा। वहीं निर्माण स्‍थलों पर कड़ी नजर रहेगी और एंटी डस्ट मशीनों का इस्तेमाल किया जायेगा और खुले में कूड़ा जलाने पर रोक रहेगी। उन्‍होंने बताया कि खुले में कूडा जलाने वालों पर निगरानी करने के लिए 6 सौ 11 टीमों का गठन किया गया है। वहीं पिछले वर्षों की तरह इस साल भी दिल्ली में पटाखों के उत्पादन, भण्डारण और किसी भी प्रकार की बिक्री या खरीद पर पूरी तरह प्रतिबन्ध रहेगा। इसके अलावा वायु प्रदूषण में वृद्धि होने पर सख्ती से ग्रेडेड रिस्‍पॉन्‍स एक्‍शन प्‍लान को लागू किया जाएगा। श्री केजरीवाल ने कहा कि वाहन से होने वाले प्रदूषण को रोकने के लिए प्रदूषण नियंत्रण प्रमाण पत्र की जांच की जाएगी। सा‍थ ही 10 साल पुराने डीजल तथा 15 साल पुराने पेट्रोल वाहन के प्रतिबंध को सख्ती से लागू करने के लिए 3 सौ 85 टीमें गठित की गई हैं। इसके अलावा दिल्ली में अत्यधिक ट्रैफिक वाली 90 सड़कों की पहचान की गई है। जहां ट्रैफिक कम करने के लिए वैकल्पिक मार्ग उपलब्ध कराए जाएंगे।

महाराष्ट्र का संस्कृति मामलों का मंत्रालय मराठवाड़ा मुक्ति आंदोलन पर मुक्ति संग्राम नाम से एक डॉक्यूड्रामा ला रहा है जो 1 अक्टूबर को दोपहर 1.30 बजे डीडी सह्याद्रि पर प्रसारित होगा। दिगपाल लांजेकर द्वारा निर्देशित, 15 मिनट की डॉक्यूमेंट्री में अजय पुरकर, समीर धर्माधिकारी, विक्रम गायकवाड़, स्मिता शेवाले सहित अन्य लोग शामिल होंगे। यह डॉक्यूमेंट्री उपलब्ध पुस्तकों, साहित्य और ग्रंथ सूची के गहन अध्ययन के बाद मात्र बारह दिनों में बनाई गई है।

राज्य सचिवालय, नबन्ना में आज एक उच्च स्तरीय डेंगू समीक्षा बैठक आयोजित की जाएगी। बैठक में सभी जिलों के जिलाधिकारी, मुख्य चिकित्सा अधिकारी और राज्य स्वास्थ्य विभाग के सभी जिला एवं मुख्यालय के अधिकारी उपस्थित रहेंगे। सूत्रों के मुताबिक, यह 39वां डेंगू सप्ताह है और संक्रमण की दर घटकर 10 से 15 फीसदी रह गई है। पश्चिम बंगाल के कुछ जिलों में इस समय डेंगू की स्थिति ठीक नहीं है। मौसम विभाग ने आने वाले साल में बारिश की भविष्यवाणी की है। ऐसे में यह बैठक बुलाई गई है। यहां बता दें कि डेंगू के मच्छर साफ पानी में अंडे देते हैं। बरसात के दिनों में बारिश के पानी का जमाव होना डेंगू की इस प्रचलित स्थिति में एक गंभीर स्थिति है।

कोलकाता में आंशिक रूप से बादल छाए रहेंगे और भारी बारिश होने संभावना है। न्यूनतम तापमान 26 और 29 डिग्री सेल्सियस के बीच रह सकता है।

Chennai is expected to have partly cloudy sky with possibility of moderate rain or Thunderstorm. The minimum temperature will be 26 degrees Celsius and the maximum will be around 36 degrees.

Bengaluru is expected to have a generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers. The minimum temperature will be 20 degrees Celsius and the maximum will be around 28 degrees.

Hyderabad is also expected to have a generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers. The temperature will hover between a minimum of 23 degrees and a maximum of 32 degrees Celsius.

2003 - विश्वनाथन आनंद ने विश्व रैपिड शतरंज चैम्पियनशिप जीती।

2009 - प्रख्यात पार्श्व गायक मन्ना डे को वर्ष 2007 प्रतिष्ठित दादा साहब फाल्के पुरस्कार के लिए चुना गया।

अब समय है कुछ प्रमुख व्यक्तियों की पुण्यतिथियों और जयंतियों के बारे में जानकारी देने का।

पुण्यतिथियां

पुण्‍यतिथियों में आज सबसे पहले नाम है अल्ताफ़ हुसैन हाली का जिनका निधन 30 सितम्बर, 1914 को हुआ था। अल्ताफ़ हुसैन हाली का नाम उर्दू साहित्य में बहुत ही सम्मान के साथ लिया जाता है। वे सर सैयद अहमद ख़ान साहब के प्रिय मित्र व अनुयायी थे। हाली जी ने उर्दू में प्रचलित परम्परा से हटकर ग़ज़ल, नज़्म, रुबाईया व मर्सिया आदि लिखे हैं। उन्होंने मिर्ज़ा ग़ालिब की जीवनी सहित कई किताबें भी लिखी हैं। उनकी मुख्य रचनाओं में शामिल हैं 'मुसद्दस-ए-हाली', 'यादगार-ए-हाली', 'हयात-ए-हाली', 'हयात-ए-जावेद' आदि।

Shankar Nagarakatte was an Indian actor,screen writer, director, and producer known for his work in Kannada-language films and television. A popular cultural icon of Karnataka, Nag is often referred to as Karate King. He directed the teleserial Malgudi Days, based on novelist R. K. Narayan's short stories and acted in some episodes as well. He won two National Film Awards, four Karnataka State Film Awards and two Filmfare Award South. Nag received the inaugural IFFI Best Actor Award (Male): Silver Peacock Award" at the 7th International Film Festival of India for his work in the film Ondanondu Kaladalli. Heco-wrote 22 June 1897, a National award-winning Marathi film. He is the younger brother of actor Anant Nag. Vincent Canby, the chief film critic of The New York Times had opined that Shankar's performance in Ondanondu Kaladalli had the force and humor of the younger Toshiro Mifune. Nag died in a car collision at Anagodu village on the outskirts of Davanagere town on 30 September 1990 during the pre-production work for his film Jokumaraswamy. The last film he did as an actor, Sundarakanda, was released a few days after his death for which Nag's voice was dubbed by Murali.

आइए बात करते हैं हिन्दी की लोकप्रिय कवियित्री तथा लेखिका सुमित्रा कुमारी सिन्हा के बारे में जिन्‍होंने 30 सितंबर 1994 को इस दुनिया से अलविदा ली। सुमित्रा कुमारी सिन्हा का जन्म उत्तर प्रदेश के फ़ैज़ाबाद ज़िले में हुआ था। उन्होंने स्वाधीनता आंदोलन में सक्रिय योगदान दिया। सुमित्रा कवि-सम्मेलनों में मधुर कंठ से कविता पाठ भी करती थीं। सुमित्रा कुमारी सिन्हा आकाशवाणी लखनऊ से सम्बद्ध रहीं।उन्होंने बाल साहित्य के क्षेत्र में भी महत्त्वपूर्ण काम किया है। उनके पुत्र अजीत कुमार सिन्हा एक प्रतिभा संपन्न लेखक थे। उनकी पुत्री कीर्ति चौधरी ने तार सप्तक की प्रसिद्ध कवियित्री के रूप में अपनी पहचान बनाई। सुमित्रा कुमारी सिन्हा की मुख्य रचनाओं में शामिल हैं विहाग (1940), आशापर्व (1942), और बोलों के देवता (1954)

Hrishikesh Mukherjee was an Indian film director, editor and writer. He is regarded as one of the greatest filmmakers of Indian cinema. Popularly known as Hrishi-da, he directed 42 films during his career spanning over four decades and is named the pioneer of the 'middle cinema' of India. Renowned for his social films that reflected the changing middle-class ethos, Mukherjee "carved a middle path between the extravagance of main stream cinema and the stark realism of art cinema".

ऋषिकेश मुखर्जी हिन्दी फ़िल्मों में एक ऐसे फ़िल्मकार के रूप में विख्यात हैं, जिन्होंने बेहद मामूली विषयों पर संजीदा फ़िल्में बनाने के बावजूद उनके मनोरंजन पक्ष को कभी अनदेखा नहीं किया। यही कारण है कि उनकी सत्यकाम, आशीर्वाद, चुपके-चुपके और आनंद जैसी फ़िल्में आज भी बेहद पसंद की जाती हैं। ऋषिकेश मुखर्जी की अधिकतर फ़िल्मों को पारिवारिक फ़िल्मों के दायरे में रखा जाता है क्योंकि उन्होंने मानवीय संबंधों की बारीकियों को बखूबी पेश किया। उनकी फ़िल्मों में राजेश खन्ना, अमिताभ बच्चन, धर्मेन्द्र, शर्मिला टैगोर, जया भादुड़ी जैसे स्टार अभिनेता और अभिनेत्रियां भी अपना स्टारडम भूलकर पात्रों से बिल्कुल घुलमिल जाते हैं। उन्हें जिन पुरुस्कारों से सम्मानित किया गया उनमें शामिल हैं 'दादा साहब फाल्के पुरस्कार', 'पद्म विभूषण', 'राष्ट्रीय फ़िल्म पुरस्कार', 'फ़िल्मफेयर पुरस्कार'। तो आइए सुन लेते हैं फिर ऋषिकेश मुखर्जी के गीतों की एक छोटी सी मेडली।

अब जो जानकारी हम अपने श्रोताओं को देने जा रहे हैं वो है पंडित श्रद्धाराम शर्मा अथवा 'श्रद्धाराम फिल्लौरी' के बारे में जो एक प्रसिद्ध ज्योतिषी थे, किन्तु एक ज्योतिषी के रूप में उन्हें वह प्रसिद्धि नहीं मिली, जो इनके द्वारा लिखी गई अमर आरती "ओम जय जगदीश हरे" के कारण मिली। आपका जन्म- 30 सितम्बर, 1837 ई., जालंधर, पंजाब; में हुआ था। सम्पूर्ण भारत में पंडित श्रद्धाराम शर्मा द्वारा लिखित 'ओम जय जगदीश हरे' की आरती गाई जाती है। श्रद्धाराम शर्मा जी ने इस आरती की रचना 1870 ई. में की थी। पंडित जी सनातन धर्म प्रचारक, ज्योतिषी, स्वतंत्रता संग्राम सेनानी और संगीतज्ञ होने के साथ-साथ हिन्दी और पंजाबी के प्रसिद्ध साहित्यकार भी थे। अपनी विलक्षण प्रतिभा और ओजस्वी वाक्पटुता के बल पर उन्होंने पंजाब में नवीन सामाजिक चेतना एवं धार्मिक उत्साह जगाया था, जिससे आगे चलकर आर्य समाज के लिये पहले से निर्मित एक उर्वर भूमि मिली। उनकी लिखित रचनाओं में शामिल हैं - 'ओम जय जगदीश' की आरती, 'सत्य धर्म मुक्तावली', 'शातोपदेश', 'सीखन दे राज दी विथिया', 'पंजाबी बातचीत', 'भाग्यवती', 'सत्यामृत प्रवाह' आदि।
