बिल्‍कुल रेनू, लेकिन इससे पहले कि हम समाचारों का सिलसिला शुरू करें, अपने श्रोताओं को जानकारी दे दें कि आज (World Deaf-Dumb Day) यानी कि विश्व मूक बधिर दिवस है जो हर वर्ष 26 सितम्बर को मनाया जाता है, लेकिन वर्तमान में यह विश्व मूक बधिर सप्ताह के रूप में अधिक जाना जाता है। यह सितम्बर के अंतिम सप्ताह में मनाया जाता है। विश्व बधिर संघ (डब्ल्यूएफडी) ने वर्ष 1958 से 'विश्व बधिर दिवस' की शुरुआत की। इस दिन बधिरों के सामाजिक, आर्थिक एवं राजनैतिक अधिकारों के प्रति लोगों में जागरूकता उत्पन्न करने के साथ-साथ समाज और देश में उनकी उपयोगिता के बारे में भी बताया जाता है।

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी आज वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्‍यम से चयनित युवाओं को करीब 51 हजार नियुक्ति पत्र वितरित करेंगे। इस अवसर पर प्रधानमंत्री उन्‍हें संबोधित भी करेंगे। रोज़गार मेला देश भर में 46 स्थानों पर आयोजित किया जाएगा। इसमें डाक विभाग, परमाणु ऊर्जा, राजस्व, उच्च शिक्षा और रक्षा मंत्रालय सहित विभिन्न मंत्रालयों और विभागों के चयनित कर्मचारी शामिल होंगे। रोजगार सृजन को सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता देने की प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्‍द्र मोदी की प्रतिबद्धता की दिशा में रोजगार मेला एक पहल है।

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the G20 University Connect Finale programme at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi today. The programme will be attended by about three thousand students, faculty members, and Vice Chancellors of participating Universities. Students from across the country will also be joining the event Live.

The G20 Jan Bhagidari movement saw a record participation of more than five crore youth from different schools, higher education institutions and skill development institutes from across the country. The G20 University Connect initiative was undertaken with the aim of building an understanding of India’s G20 Presidency among India’s youth and enhancing their participation in the different G20 events.

प्रधानमंत्री आज से दो दिन के गुजरात दौरे पर रहेंगे। श्री मोदी कल अहमदाबाद के साइंस सिटी में वाइब्रेंट गुजरात ग्लोबल समिट के बीस वर्ष पूरे होने के उपलक्ष्य में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में शामिल होंगे।  प्रधानमंत्री जनजातीय जिले छोटा उदेपुर में 52 अरब रूपये से अधिक की परियोजनाओं का लोकार्पण और शिलान्‍यास करेंगे। श्री मोदी अहमदाबाद में अभिवादन कार्यक्रम में भी शामिल होंगे। यह कार्यक्रम ऐतिहासिक महिला आरक्षण विधेयक पारित कराने के लिए प्रधानमंत्री का आभार प्रकट करने के लिए प्रदेश भाजपा आयोजित कर रही है।

The Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs is organising the two-day India Smart Cities Conclave 2023 at Indore, Madhya Pradesh . President Droupadi Murmu will be felicitating the winners of the fourth edition of the India Smart Cities Award Contest (ISAC) 2022 tomorrow .  

The conclave will witness the participation of all 100 smart cities that are leading a paradigm shift in the practice of city development by being at the forefront of urban innovation. The event will provide a platform for the cities to showcase their exemplary work done under the Mission to help crystallise the roadmap for the future of urban transformation in the country.

In Kerala, the district authorities in Kozhikode have said that all the 42 samples collected from bats, wild boars and other domestic animals in the district yielded negative results for Nipah virus. The samples, collected by a team of animal husbandry experts from the Centre and the State government, were sent to the National Institute of High Security Animal Diseases in Bhopal for testing.

Meanwhile, Kozhikode District Collector A Geetha said  avoidable public functions should be postponed till October 1, as the district is still not completely free from the threat posed by the virus.  She said public should continue to maintain social distancing, and make use of masks and sanitisers.

The Enforcement Directorate has attached land worth Rs. 125 crore of Delhi based Unitech Group's on the outskirts of Chennai under the provisions of the Prevention of Money laundering Act. With this 17th provisional attachment , properties worth Rs. 1,258 Crore have been seized so far. The piece of land measuring nearly two acres is part of 4.79 acres where Uniworld City, a township, is situated. The Enforcement Directorate initiated investigation on the basis of various FIRs registered by the Delhi police and the CBI, based on complaints by home buyers against Unitech Group,its promoters and others.

Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation is celebrating its Silver Jubilee this year. The city bus service started in 1940 as Bengaluru Transport Company  with 98 vehicles. The then private company was taken over by the Government and renamed as Bengaluru Transport Service BTS in 1956. B.M.T.C was formed as an independent organization on 15-08-1997 after separating from K.S.R.T.C. Today it has grown in size with of 28894 personnel, operating 5597 schedules from 49 units under 6 zones, totaling 6466 buses including 390 electric buses. The organization has a total of 48 bus stands including head office, a well-equipped training center, 4 central workshops, 10 TTMC, 3 major and 35 main stations.It is today a Urban transport with the largest number of air-conditioned vehicles in the country.

In Telangana, Pembarthi in Jangoan  district and Chandlapur of Siddipet district have been chosen by the Ministry of Tourism as the best tourism villages in Telangana for the year. Union Tourism Minister G. Kishan Reddy announced this last evening. Speaking to the media in Hyderabad, he said both the villages will receive awards on the occasion of World Tourism Day tomorrow during a special function in New Delhi. He said the Central recognised the handicrafts and tourism places in Telangana and had recognised Bhoodan Pochampalli as a tourism village two years ago.

दिल्ली नगर निगम द्वारा डेंगू, मलेरिया और चिकनगुनिया जैसी मच्छरजनित बीमारियों की रोकथाम के लिए वृहद स्तर पर अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। अभियान के अंतर्गत निगम के सभी 12 क्षेत्रों के अंतर्गत आने वाले 197 पुलिस थानों और मालखानों में मच्छरों का प्रजनन जांच करने के लिए सघन अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। इस अभियान में 83 स्थलों पर मच्छरों का प्रजनन पाया गया। दिल्ली नगर निगम ने 60 कानूनी नोटिस जारी किए, एक अभियोजन दायर किया, तीन कोर्ट चालान किए और एक प्रशासनिक शुल्क लगाया। नगर निगम ने पंजाबी बाग, वसंत कुंज, ख्याला, जगतपुरी, उस्मानपुर, निजामुद्दीन, अमर कॉलोनी, लाहौरी गेट, बुराड़ी, स्वरूप नगर, पश्चिम विहार, अमन विहार, बवाना, रिठाला, मायापुरी, सुल्तानपुरी, गाजीपुर, गीता कॉलोनी और अंबेडकर नगर में पुलिस थानों और मालखानो का निरीक्षण किया।

दिल्ली नगर निगम का जनस्वास्थ्य विभाग विभिन्न जनजागरुकता अभियान चला रहा है। दिल्ली नगर निगम ने दिल्ली के सभी नागरिकों से आग्रह किया है कि वे अपने आसपास पानी न जमा होने दें, पानी को ढक कर रखें, अपने आसपास साफ सफाई रखें एवं अपने घर में कबाड़ न जमा होने दें।

महाराष्ट्र विधानसभा अध्यक्ष राहुल नार्वेकर ने सोमवार को मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे और उनके पूर्ववर्ती उद्धव ठाकरे के नेतृत्व वाले प्रतिद्वंद्वी शिवसेना गुटों द्वारा एक-दूसरे के खिलाफ दायर अयोग्यता याचिकाओं पर सुनवाई शुरू की। दोनों पक्षों के विधायकों ने सुनवाई में शामिल होने के लिए अपने वकील भेजे। इससे पहले, नार्वेकर ने 53 विधायकों को दोनों गुटों द्वारा एक-दूसरे के खिलाफ दायर अयोग्यता याचिकाओं पर सुनवाई के लिए उपस्थित होने के लिए नोटिस जारी किया था। इनमें 40 विधायक शिंदे गुट के और 13 विधायक ठाकरे गुट के थे। बाद में उद्धव गुट के एक विधायक निर्वाचित हुए हैं, इसलिए उन्हें नोटिस नहीं भेजा गया है।

पश्चिम बंगाल के राज्यपाल सीवी आनंद बोस आज से आधिकारिक दौरे पर अमेरिका की यात्रा करेंगे। राजभवन ने बताया है कि वह अपने कार्यक्रम में कई व्यस्तताओं के साथ बारह दिवसीय दौरे पर रहेंगे। अमेरिका में वह विभिन्न अवसरों पर भारतीय समुदायों से मुलाकात करेंगे। वह 7 अक्टूबर 2023 को कोलकाता लौटेंगे।

Chennai is expected to have partly cloudy sky with possibility of moderate rain or thunderstorm. The minimum temperature was 26 degrees Celsius and the maximum will be around 36 degrees.

Bengaluru is expected to have generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers. The minimum temperature would be 21 degrees celsius and the maximum will be around 29 degrees.

Hyderabad is also expected to have generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers. The temperature will hover between a minimum of 23 degrees and a maximum of 30 degrees Celsius.

पुण्यतिथियां

टी. बी. कुन्हा (अंग्रेज़ी: T. B. Cunha; जन्म- 2 अप्रैल, 1891, गोवा, मृत्यु- 26 सितंबर, 1958) गोवा के प्रसिद्ध स्वतंत्रता सेनानी थे। ये ऐसे व्यक्ति थे, जिन्होंने अपना सब कुछ न्योछावर करके गोवा को स्वतंत्र कराने में महत्त्वपूर्ण भूमिका अदा की। डॉ. टी. बी. कुन्हा जैसे अनेक स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों ने अपार कष्ट सह कर गोवा को 1961 में स्वतंत्रता दिलाई।

Hemanta Mukhopadhyay (16 June 1920 – 26 September 1989), known professionally as Hemant Kumar and Hemanta Mukherjee, was a legendary Indian music director and playback singer who primarily sang in Bengali and Hindi, as well as other Indian languages.  

जिनके गीत आज भी श्रोताओं को मंत्रमुग्ध कर देते हैं। बांग्ला और हिन्दी फ़िल्म संगीत की जानी-मानी शख्सियत हेमन्त कुमार न सिर्फ़ मौसिकी के माहिर थे, बल्कि बेहतरीन फ़िल्म निर्माता भी थे। बांग्ला भाषा के अनेक ग़ैर-फ़िल्मी एल्बम को सुर देने वाले हेमन्त कुमार ने कई मशहूर हिन्दी गीतों को भी अपनी मधुर आवाज़ दी थी। तो आइए फिर सुन लेते हैं हेमन्‍त दा की ही आवाज में कुछ सदाबहार गीतों की एक छोटी सी मेड्ली।

सूबेदार जोगिन्दर सिंह (अंग्रेज़ी: Subedar Joginder Singh, जन्म: 26 सितम्बर 1921 - शहादत: 23 अक्तूबर 1962) परमवीर चक्र से सम्मानित भारतीय सैनिक थे। इन्हें यह सम्मान सन 1962 में मरणोपरांत मिला। स्वतंत्र भारत ने चीन से बस एक युद्ध 1962 में लड़ा जिसने उसे बहुत सारे अनुभव दिए। ये अनुभव फौजी हकीकत से तो जुड़े हुए थे ही इनमें राजनैतिक तौर पर भी बहुत कुछ आँख खोल देने वाला था। इस युद्ध में चीन के साथ लड़ते हुए भारत के चार पराक्रमी योद्धाओं ने परमवीर चक्र प्राप्त किए।

देवानंद पूरा नाम धर्मदेव आनंद (जन्म- 26 सितंबर, 1923, पंजाब; मृत्यु- 3 दिसम्बर, 2011, लंदन) दादा साहब फाल्के पुरुस्कार से सम्मानित वे भारतीय सिनेमा के शुरुआती दौर के प्रसिद्ध अभिनेता थे जो जीवन भर सक्रिय और चर्चित रहे। वे अभिनेता के साथ-साथ निर्माता-निर्देशक भी थे। वे बॉलीवुड में 'देव साहब' के नाम से एक ज़िन्दादिल और भले इंसान के रूप में प्रसिद्ध थे। भारतीय सिनेमा में दो पीढ़ियों तक लगातार हीरो बने रहने वाले कलाकार के विषय में यदि विचार करें तो केवल एक ही नाम उभरता है और वह है देव आनंद। कभी अपनी एक फ़िल्म में उन्होंने एक गीत गुनगुनाया था 'मैं ज़िंदगी का साथ निभाता चला गया, हर फ़िक्र को धुंए में उड़ाता चला गया' और शायद यही गीत उनके जीवन को सबसे अच्छी तरह परिभाषित भी करता है।
