प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी आज उत्तर प्रदेश में अपने संसदीय क्षेत्र वाराणसी का दौरा करेंगे। श्री मोदी  तीन अलग-अलग कार्यक्रमों में शामिल होंगे तथा डेढ़ हजार करोड़ रुपये से अधिक की विकास परियोजनाओं की शुरूआत करेंगे। प्रधानमंत्री सबसे पहले वाराणसी में अंतरराष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट स्टेडियम का शिलान्यास करेंगे। इसके बाद श्री मोदी संपूर्णानंद संस्कृत विश्वविद्यालय पहुंचकर वाराणसी की महिलाओं के साथ संवाद कार्यक्रम में भाग लेंगे। 'नारीशक्ति वंदन अभिनंदन कार्यक्रम' नामक इस कार्यक्रम में लगभग  पांच हजार महिलाओं के एकत्र की संभावना है। यह महिलाएं महिला आरक्षण विधेयक लाए जाने पर प्रधानमंत्री का स्वागत करेंगी। बाद में, प्रधानमंत्री रुद्राक्ष अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सहयोग और सम्‍मेलन केंद्र पहुंचेंगे और काशी संसद सांस्कृतिक महोत्सव 2023 के समापन समारोह में भाग लेंगे। इस दौरान श्री मोदी समूचे उत्तर प्रदेश में बने 16 अटल आवासीय विद्यालयों का उद्घाटन भी करेंगे। करीब एक हजार एक सौ 15 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से 16 मंडलों में बने अटल आवासीय विद्याालय अटल आवासीय विद्यालय विशेष रूप से श्रमिकों, और निर्माण कार्यो से जुड़े कामगारों तथा कोविड महामारी के कारण अनाथ हुए बच्चों के लिए बनाए गए हैं। इन विद्यालयों का उद्देश्य इन बच्‍चों को गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा तथा सर्वांगीण विकास में सहायता प्रदान करना है। हमारे संवाददाता ने बताया है कि वाराणसी के गांजरी, राजातालाब में आधुनिक अंतरराष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट स्टेडियम लगभग चार सौ पचास करोड़ रुपये की लागत से 30 एकड़ से अधिक क्षेत्र में बनाया जाएगा।

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate a two-day International Lawyers Conference in New Delhi this morning. The theme of the Conference is Emerging Challenges in the Justice Delivery System. This Conference is being organised for the first time by the Bar Council of India. The objective of the Conference is to act as a platform for meaningful dialogue and discussion on various legal topics of national and international importance. It also aims to promote the exchange of ideas and experiences and strengthen international cooperation and understanding of legal issues. Topics such as emerging legal trends, challenges in cross-border litigation, legal technology, and environmental law will be discussed at the Conference.

विदेश मंत्री डॉ. एस जयशंकर ने आज न्यूयॉर्क में क्‍वाड देशों के विदेश मंत्रियों के साथ चर्चा की। विदेश मंत्री  संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा के 78वें सत्र में भारतीय प्रतिनिधिमंडल का नेतृत्व करने के लिए न्यूयॉर्क में हैं। एक सोशल मीडिया पोस्ट में डॉ. जयशंकर ने कहा कि क्‍वाड सहयोगियों के साथ बैठक के दौरान उन्होंने हिन्‍द प्रशांत क्षेत्र में नियम आधारित अंतर्राष्ट्रीय व्यवस्था की रक्षा करने और क्वाड प्रतिबद्धताओं को पूरा करने पर चर्चा की। उन्होंने जापान के विदेश मंत्री योको कामिकावा के साथ भी बैठक की और भारत तथा जापान के बीच विशेष रणनीतिक और वैश्विक साझेदारी पर दृष्टिकोण का आदान-प्रदान किया। उन्होंने क्षेत्रीय, बहुपक्षीय और वैश्विक सहयोग को आगे बढ़ाने पर भी चर्चा की। 26 सितंबर तक न्यूयॉर्क की अपनी पांच दिवसीय यात्रा के दौरान विदेश मंत्री विभिन्न बहुपक्षीय और द्विपक्षीय बैठकों में भाग लेंगे। वे संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासचिव अंतोनियो गुतरश और संयुक्‍त राष्‍ट्र महासभा के 78वें सत्र के अध्यक्ष डेनिस फ्रांसिस से भी मुलाकात करेंगे। डॉक्‍टर जयशंकर 26 सितंबर को महासभा के उच्च स्तरीय सत्र को संबोधित करेंगे। 27 से 30 सितंबर तक अमरीकी दौरे के दूसरे चरण में वाशिंगटन डी सी में डॉ. जयशंकर अमरीकी वार्ताकारों के साथ द्विपक्षीय बैठकें करेंगे। उनके कार्यक्रम में अमरीकी विदेश मंत्री एंटनी ब्लिंकन, अमरीकी प्रशासन के वरिष्ठ सदस्यों, व्यापारिक समूह और थिंक टैंक के साथ चर्चा शामिल है। वे आर्ट ऑफ लिविंग द्वारा आयोजित चौथे विश्व संस्कृति महोत्सव को भी संबोधित करेंगे।

The Janata Dal (Secular) has joined the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance ahead of next year's General Elections. The announcement was made yesterday after, senior JDS leader and former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President JP Nadda in New Delhi.

BJP president JP Nadda has expressed happiness that JD(S) has decided to be part of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). In a social media post, he said that this would strengthen the NDA and the vision of PM Narendra Modi for a new and strong India. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP won 25 out of the 28 Lok Sabha seats in the State, while the JD(S) won only one.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (UNHRC) Volker Turk has welcomed the passage of the Women’s Reservation Bill in India, which will reserve one-third of seats in the country’s Parliament and State Assemblies for women. This historic measure would constitutionally enshrine women’s representation in parliament and will be a game-changing step in defending women’s right to participation and gender equality in India. The Bill was passed by both Houses of Parliament. The High Commissioner calls on the Government to implement the new system as soon as possible, alongside the existing reservation for scheduled castes and scheduled Tribes.

According to the Spokesperson for the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Ravina Shamdasani, the UN High Commissioner called on parliamentarians around the world to adopt legislative measures - including, where necessary, gender quotas - in order to ensure women’s voices at the centre of their nations’ political discourse, in full parity with others.  

भारत ने एशियाई खेलों में देश के कुछ खिलाडियों के लिए चीन की रूकावट पर कडा विरोध दर्ज कराया है। कुछ भारतीय खिलाडियों को एशियाई खेलों में प्रवेश से इंकार पर मीडिया के सवालों के जबाव में विदेश मंत्रालय के प्रवक्‍ता अरिंदम बागची ने कहा कि भारत निवास या जातीयता के आधार पर अपने नागरिकों के साथ किसी भी तरह के भेदभाव को सख्‍ती से खारिज करता है। खेल मंत्री अनुराग सिंह ठाकुर ने इसके विरोध में चीन जाने का कार्यक्रम रद्द कर दिया है।

In Cricket, India defeated Australia by five wickets in the first ODI of a three-match series in Mohali yesterday.  Chasing the target of 277 runs set by Australia, India made 281 runs losing five wickets with eight balls to spare. Four of Indian Batsmen scored half-centuries. Openers Shubhman Gill scored 74 while Ruturaj Gaikwad made 71 runs, giving the Indian innings a solid start. Captain KL Rahul scored 58 and Surya Kumar Yadav made 50 runs. Earlier, put into bat, the Visitors were all out for 276 in 50 overs. Mohammed Shami bagged five wickets for India.

Chennai Metro Rail has warned of legal action against people obstructing train doors during peak hours as it disrupts train services. The Metro administration said that obstructing train doors poses serious safety risks, disrupts service and can result in injuries. The agency said that it is essential for passengers to understand that obstructing doors is not only a breach of safety protocols but also a punishable offence under section 67 of the Operations and Maintenance Act of 2022. Violators can face imprisonment upto four years and a penalty of upto Rs. 5000/-.

IIT has launched a Moving Memory App that uses augmented reality and virtual reality simultaneously. It captures various moving  models of memory through digital reconstruction. The app can be accessed either through mobile apps in both Android and IOs platforms or through browser based platforms. It is embedded with additional layers of video, audio, 3D Images and interactive elements which may be used as models for sustainable and heritage oriented pedagogic and research approaches.

The Karnataka Minister for Law, Parliamentary Affairs, and Tourism, . H.K. Patil, announced yesterday that the private sector has voluntarily committed Rs. 500 crore for developing tourism in Karnataka, with the government serving as a facilitator. He made this statement during the curtain-raiser event for the 'Dakshin Bharat Utsav,' scheduled to take place from December 14 to 16 in Bengaluru. Additionally, the Minister unveiled a government plan to protect, conserve, and develop nearly 550 monuments available for 'adoption.' These monuments, which include temples, churches, mosques, and other heritage sites, will be opened for tourism, creating opportunities for investment and employment generation. The innovative program is set to launch on September 25.

Commending the private sector's decision to invest voluntarily in the tourism sector, Mr. Patil stated that even though some ventures may not be profitable, they will provide a unique global experience. With Karnataka boasting four UNESCO-recognized heritage sites, including the recent addition of Belur, Halebidu, and Somanathapura of the Hoysala architecture, alongside Hampi, Pattadkal, and the Western Ghats, the state anticipates increased visitor numbers. He also emphasized Karnataka's diverse tourism offerings, encompassing heritage, adventure, beach tourism, pilgrimage, and environmental attractions.

South Central Railway (SCR) will celebrate the Railway Protection Force (RPF) Raising Day later this morning in Hyderabad. The Union Minister of State for railways Raosaheb Patil Danve will preside over the event and review the parade which is set to feature over 200 RPF personnel. The SCR informed that the parade will showcase the diversity and capabilities of the force, including a Mahila platoon.  The minister will present awards including the ‘President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service’.

The Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) has paid the 11th Wage Board arrears to the tune of 1450 crore rupees to around 39,000 employees. Each employee received on an average about 3 lakh 70 thousand rupees arrears. While the company deposited the arrears amount into the bank accounts of most employees directly, a few received cheques where the amount was huge. The SCCL stated that Ramagundam Area head overman V. Sudarshan Reddy received the highest arrears of 9 lakh 91 thousand rupees. SCCL Director (Finance) N Balaram said the Dasara and Diwali bonus too will be paid on time. He further said it was the first time in the history of SCCL that such a huge amount was paid to employees. The SCCL also deducted Income Tax, PF and amounts to be transferred to pension accounts from the arrears and paid the remaining amount.

दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय छात्र संघ का चुनाव कल शांतिपूर्ण सम्पन्न हुआ। चुनाव के लिए महाविद्यालयों में दो पालियों में इलेक्ट्रॉनिक वोटिंग मशीन के जरिए वोट डाले गए। मतों की गणना आज होगी। मतदान केन्द्रों की व्यवस्था का जायजा लेने के लिए दिल्‍ली विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति प्रोफेसर योगेश सिंह ने मुख्य चुनाव अधिकारी प्रोफेसर चंद्रशेखर के साथ मतदान केन्द्रों का निरीक्षण किया। सुरक्षा की दृष्टि से मतदान केन्‍द्रों पर भारी संख्‍या में पुलिस बल तैनात किया गया था। आकाशवाणी से बातचीत में मुख्य चुनाव अधिकारी प्रोफेसर चंद्रशेखर ने सुचारू और पारदर्शी मतदान संपन्‍न होने पर इलैक्‍ट्रानिक्‍स कॉर्पोरेशन ऑफ इंडिया लिमिटेड का धन्‍यवाद व्‍यक्‍त किया है। इस छात्र संघ चुनाव में विभिन्‍न पदों पर कुल 24 उम्‍मीदवार मैदान में हैं। छात्र संगठन, अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद, नेशनल स्टूडेंट्स यूनियन ऑफ इंडिया और ऑल इंडिया स्टूडेंट्स एसोसिएसन और स्टूडेंट फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडिया के बीच कड़ी टक्कर है। कोविड महामारी की वजह से तीन वर्ष बाद हुए इस चुनाव में उम्‍मीदवारों को आयु सीमा में तीन वर्ष की छूट दी गई थी।

भारतीय सांस्‍कृतिक संबंध परिषद 28 और 29 सितंबर को नई   दिल्‍ली में चौथे भारत-लातिन सांस्‍कृतिक उत्‍सव का आयोजन करेगी। यह आयोजन कोलंबिया, इक्‍वाडोर और चिली दूतावास के सहयोग से किया जा रहा है। संवाददाताओं से बातचीत में परिषद के अध्‍यक्ष डॉ. विनय सहस्रबुद्धे ने बताया कि इस उत्‍सव का उद्देश्‍य लातिन अमरीका की समृद्ध सांस्‍कृतिक धरोहर का प्रदर्शन करना है। उन्‍होंने कहा कि इस उत्‍सव में भारतीय और लातिन अमरीका संबंधित पक्ष सांस्‍कृतिक और शैक्षणिक क्षेत्रों में सहयोग की संभावनाओं पर चर्चा करेंगे। हमारे संवाददाता ने बताया है ‍कि यह उत्‍सव भारत तथा लातिन अमरीका के बीच प्रगाढ सांस्‍कृतिक संबंधों, परस्‍पर समझ और समृद्ध परंपराओं के फलने-फूलने का प्रतीक है।

दिल्‍ली सरकार ने रामलीला, दुर्गा पूजा और दशहरा जैसे धार्मिक आयोजनों के दौरान लाउडस्‍पीकर के उपयोग करने की समय सीमा को 10 बजे से बढाकर रात बारह बजे करने के प्रस्‍ताव को मंजूरी दी है। दिल्‍ली सरकार की एक विज्ञप्ति के अनुसार यह अनुमति 15 से 24 अक्‍टूबर तक प्रभावी रहेगी। इस दौरान आयोजको को ध्‍वनि प्रदूषण नियमों का सख्‍ती से पालन करना होगा।

महाराष्ट्र-का रुख करें

मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे ने कल ओबीसी नेताओं से अपना अनशन समाप्त करने की अपील की और उनसे अपने मुद्दों पर सरकार के साथ चर्चा करने का आग्रह किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने उन्हें आश्वासन दिया कि मामलों को सौहार्दपूर्ण ढंग से हल किया जाएगा। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि इस मामले में अगले सप्ताह एक बैठक आयोजित की जाएगी।

मध्य रेलवे ने सुरक्षा उपायों को बढ़ाने के लिए, लोकल ट्रेनों के गार्ड और मोटरमैन केबिन में सीसीटीवी कैमरा सिस्टम स्थापित करने का निर्णय लिया है। यह योजना साल के अंत तक पूरी कर ली जाएगी। इसका उद्देश्य सुरक्षा, दुर्घटना के बाद के विश्लेषण और परिचालन दक्षता में उल्लेखनीय सुधार करना है। यह पहल 2016-2017 में रेलवे बोर्ड द्वारा स्थापित एक सुरक्षा समिति की सिफारिशों के अनुरूप है, जो ट्रेन संचालन सुरक्षा बढ़ाने के लिए महत्‍वपूर्ण है।

पश्चिम बंगाल राज्य परिवहन विभाग ने इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों के उपयोग को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए विभिन्न सरकारी विभागों को अपने दैनिक कार्यों के लिए इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों को किराए पर लेने की अनुमति दी है। हालाँकि, वित्त विभाग की पूर्व सहमति आवश्यक है। इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों के लिए मासिक किराये का शुल्क प्रति दिन 100 किमी की दर से 46,000 रुपये होगा। 100 किमी से अधिक अतिरिक्त दूरी के लिए 8 रुपये प्रति किमी का अतिरिक्त भुगतान किया जाएगा। इस कदम का उद्देश्य जीवाश्म ईंधन के उपयोग को कम करने के लिए स्वच्छ ईंधन के इस्‍तेमाल को बढ़ावा देना है।

मुंबई में आमतौर पर बादल छाए रहेंगे और हल्‍की से मध्‍यम वर्षा होने की संभावना है। न्यूनतम तापमान 25 डिग्री सेल्सियस और अधिकतम 29 डिग्री के आसपास रहेगा।

कोलकाता में भी बादल छाए रहेंगे और एक या दो बार गरज के साथ बौछारें पड़ सकती हैं। न्यूनतम तापमान 27 डिग्री सेल्सियस और अधिकतम 30 डिग्री के आसपास रहेगा।

Chennai is expected to have generally cloudy sky with Light rain. The minimum temperature will be 27 degrees Celsius and the maximum will be around 34 degrees.

Bengaluru is expected to have a generally cloudy sky with Light rain. The minimum temperature will be 20 degrees Celsius and the maximum will be around 29 degrees.

Hyderabad is also expected to have a generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers. The temperature will hover between a minimum of 23 degrees and a maximum of 30 degrees Celsius.

The 19th Asian Games will kick off Hangzhou in the People’s Republic of China this evening. The grand opening ceremony will take place at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Centre Stadium, also known as the Big Lotus. India had sent a 655 members contingent to compete in 42 disciplines. Hockey captain Harmanpreet Singh and Olympic bronze medallist boxer Lovlina Borgohain will lead the contingent in the Opening ceremony.

देवेन्‍द्र - अब स्‍मरण उन महान लोगों का जिनकी आज पुण्‍य तिथि, जयंती या जन्‍म दिन है।

रामधारी सिंह दिनकर छायावादोत्तर कवियों की पहली पीढ़ी के कवि थे। एक ओर उनकी कविताओ में जहॉ ओज, विद्रोह, आक्रोश और क्रान्ति की पुकार है, तो वहीं दूसरी ओर कोमल श्रृंगारिक भावनाओं की अभिव्यक्ति। इन्हीं दो प्रवृत्तियों का चरम उत्कर्ष हमें उनकी कुरुक्षेत्र और उर्वशी नामक कृतियों में देखने को मिलता है। ’दिनकर’ जी का जन्म 23 सितंबर 1908 को बिहार में बेगूसराय ज़िले के सिमरिया गाँव में हुआ था। उन्होंने संस्कृत, बांग्ला, अंग्रेजी और उर्दू का गहन अध्ययन किया था। 1934 से 1947 तक वे बिहार सरकार की सेवा में सब-रजिस्टार और प्रचार विभाग के उपनिदेशक रहे। 1950 से 1952 तक मुजफ्फरपुर कालेज में हिन्दी के विभागाध्यक्ष के रूप में कार्य किया। 1952 में जब भारत की प्रथम संसद का गठन हुआ, तो उन्हें राज्यसभा का सदस्य चुना गया और वे दिल्ली आ गए।

दिनकर जी 12 वर्ष तक संसद-सदस्य रहे, बाद में उन्हें सन 1964 से 1965 ई. तक भागलपुर विश्वविद्यालय का कुलपति नियुक्त किया गया। लेकिन अगले ही वर्ष भारत सरकार ने उन्हें 1965 से 1971 तक के लिए अपना हिन्दी सलाहकार नियुक्त किया और वे फिर दिल्ली लौट आए। दिनकर की महान रचनाओं में रश्मिरथी और परशुराम की प्रतीक्षा शामिल है। उर्वशी को छोड़कर दिनकर की अधिकतर रचनाएँ वीर रस से ओतप्रोत है।भूषण के बाद उन्हें वीर रस का सर्वश्रेष्ठ कवि माना जाता है।

कुरूक्षेत्र में उन्होंने लिखा है -

क्षमा शोभती उस भुजंग को, जिसके पास गरल हो;

उसको क्या जो दन्तहीन, विषहीन, विनीत, सरल हो।

Sigmund Freud ( born Sigismund Schlomo Freud; 6 May 1856 – 23 September 1939) was an Austrian neurologist and the founder of psychoanalysis, a clinical method for evaluating and treating pathologies seen as originating from conflicts in the psyche, through dialogue between patient and psychoanalyst, and the distinctive theory of mind and human agency derived from it.In founding psychoanalysis, Freud developed therapeutic techniques such as the use of free association and discovered transference, establishing its central role in the analytic process.His analysis of dreams as wish-fulfillments provided him with models for the clinical analysis of symptom formation and the underlying mechanisms of repression. On this basis Freud elaborated his theory of the unconscious and went on to develop a model of psychic structure comprising id, ego and super-ego.Though in overall decline as a diagnostic and clinical practice,psychoanalysis remains influential within psychology, psychiatry, psychotherapy, and across the humanities.

In a few films he played secondary villain to villainous characters of Ajit, Madan Puri, Pran, Prem Nath, Jeevan in the 1970s and 1980s and to Amrish Puri and Amjad Khan in the late 1980s.
