राष्‍ट्रपति द्रौपदी मूर्मु ने कहा है कि भारत को विश्‍व की तीसरी सबसे बडी अर्थव्‍यवस्‍था बनाने में उत्‍तर प्रदेश महत्‍वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएगा। गौतमबुद्ध नगर जिले में पहले उत्‍तर प्रदेश अंतर्राष्‍ट्रीय व्‍यापार प्रदर्शनी का उद्घाटन करने के बाद राष्‍ट्रपति ने कहा कि उत्‍तर प्रदेश का लक्ष्‍य दस खरब डॉलर की अर्थव्‍यवस्‍था बनने का है और आशा है कि राज्‍य यह लक्ष्‍य हासिल कर लेगा। राज्‍य सरकार के प्रयासों की सराहना करते हुए राष्‍ट्रपति ने कहा कि इस व्‍यापार प्रदर्शनी में युवा उद्यमियों विशेषकर महिलाओं द्वारा विकसित उत्‍पाद दिखाए जा रहे हैं। उन्‍होंने कहा कि उद्यमिता में महिलाओं की बढती भागीदारी अच्‍छी बात है लेकिन इसे और बढाने की जरूरत है। राष्‍ट्रपति ने कहा कि व्‍यापार प्रदर्शनी में लगभग 66 देशों के चार सौ से अधिक क्रेता भाग ले रहे हैं। उन्‍होंने विश्‍वास व्‍यक्‍त किया कि इस अंतर्राष्‍ट्रीय व्‍यापार प्रदर्शनी में जी-20 के लक्ष्‍यों के अनुरूप राष्‍ट्रीय और अंतर्राष्‍ट्रीय प्राथमिकताओं को आगे बढाया जाएगा। यह प्रदर्शनी 25 सितम्‍बर तक चलेगी।

Parliament has passed the Constitution (One Hundred and Twenty-Eighth Amendment) Bill,2023 which seeks to reserve one-third of the total number of seats for women in Lok Sabha, State Legislative Assemblies and Delhi Assembly. The Women’s Reservation Bill which is called as Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam was approved by the Rajya Sabha after a division of vote in which 214 members voted in the favour of the Bill while none voted against it. The Lok Sabha has already given its nod to the Bill. In his remarks in the Rajya Sabha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi  said that a positive discussion took place over the Women’s Reservation Bill and a total of 132 members of both the houses of Parliament took part in the discussion. He thanked all the members for their support to this legislation. Replying to a marathon debate on the Women’s Reservation Bill, Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal said that as many as 72 members from different political parties participated in the discussion who spoke in the favour of the bill. He added that when this bill becomes law and is implemented, the country will move ahead of developed countries in terms of giving representation to women. Earlier, Mr Meghwal said, 33 per cent reservation for women belonging to SCs and STs will also be provided within the existing quota and for this census and delimitation are essential.

Both the Houses of Parliament adjourned sine die last night. After passage of the Constitution (One Hundred and Twenty-Eighth Amendment) Bill, 2023, the Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar adjourned the House sine die. Later the Lok Sabha adjourned sine die following the passage of the resolution congratulating ISRO scientists on the success of Chandrayaan -3 Mission and other achievements of the nation in the Space sector. Our correspondents report that the Special Session of the Parliament started on 18th of this month and concluded one day before the scheduled date of 22nd September.

Health Secretary Sudhansh Pant has said that over five lakh Ayushman Cards were made in just four days of the Ayushman Bhav' campaign. He said, over 20 lakh Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) IDs were generated. Mr Pant said, in just four days footfall of more than 20 lakh were registered at the Health and Wellness Centres and Community Health Centres (CHCs) for availing free treatment and screening services. He said, this program is highly ambitious for the Government of India and all states and union territories have been contributing wholeheartedly. Mr Pant said, it is important to achieve saturation of health services at both primary and secondary levels. President Droupadi Murmu had virtually launched the Ayushman Bhav Campaign in Gandhinagar on 13th of this month.

कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण सचिव मनोज आहूजा ने कल नई दिल्ली में सामान्य फसल अनुमान सर्वेक्षण- जीसीईएस के लिए मोबाइल एप्लिकेशन और वेब पोर्टल का शुभारम्भ किया। यह क्रांतिकारी पोर्टल और मोबाइल एप्लिकेशन पूरे देश में कृषि पद्धतियों को बदलने के लिए डिज़ाइन किया गया है। इस अवसर पर श्री आहूजा ने कृषि में वास्तविक समय अनुमान और प्रौद्योगिकी की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया। उन्होंने उल्लेख किया कि सच्चे और विश्वसनीय नतीजे के लिए डेटा की सटीकता एक बहुत महत्वपूर्ण घटक है और इसे सुनिश्चित करने की जिम्मेदारी डेटा प्रदाताओं के लिए भी महत्वपूर्ण है।

Relief work is going on in full swing in the four flood-affected districts of Gujarat. State Health Minister Rushikesh Patel said the health teams will launch a week-long intensive surveillance campaign in the rain affected districts from today. Door-to-door surveillance is being conducted in the flood-affected villages of Bharuch, Narmada, Vadodara and Anand districts. The state government said, that during the last four days, over 4 lakh people have been covered in more than 120 affected villages.  An intensive surveillance campaign will be conducted by a team of 435 health workers in the four affected districts for seven days to prevent the spread of water-borne and vector-borne diseases. Real-time supervision of the entire situation will be done through monitoring cell from the state level.

The Tamilnadu Government plans to establish a 100 crore co-creation fund to assist in the establishment and operation of a few private sector venture capital funds in the State, with a special emphasis on those funds that invest in regional start-ups and industries like rural impact investing by women-led businesses and climate action. This commitment forms a part of the new Tamilnadu Start up and Innovation policy . The mission director and CEO , Start up TN , Sivarajah Ramanathan said that if a new private sector entity wants to set up a VC fund in the State, the Government will share the cost and also help them in setting up provided they satisfy the determined criteria.

The Karnataka Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao declared dementia a public health priority in honour of World Alzheimer's Day in 2023. This declaration aligned with the submission of the Draft Karnataka State Dementia Action Plan, by the Director NIMHANS, Dr Pratima Murthy and Dementia India Alliance, DIA to the Govt of Karnataka. The estimated dementia prevalence for people above the age of 60 is 7.4%, with nearly 90 lac Indians currently living with dementia. The number of people with dementia will increase to 1.7 Cr by 2036. In India, diagnosis and care are currently provided for less than 10% of dementia cases. The DIA President, Dr. Radha Murthy, described the challenging situations faced by dementia patients as well as the enormous strain on families and carers.

Ahead of the Ganesh Visarjan event, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has arranged portable lakes and excavated small water tanks at 72 locations for the immersion of the Ganesh idols. The artificial tanks, including baby ponds, have been arranged to promote eco-friendly celebrations and to promote a hassle-free immersion at the convenience of the citizens. The artificial water tanks have been created at lakes in and around Hyderabad . The GHMC had set up such tanks in the previous years as well. The GHMC also made arrangements for deploying about 10,000 sanitation workers in three shifts to respectfully remove idols during immersion. In addition, these water bodies are being provided with adequate lighting, barricades, and sanitation infrastructure ahead of the festival.

Telangana state government has appointed new SC ST Commission chairman and members. The Government has appointed B Venkataiah as the new chairman of Telangana State SC, ST Commission. He hails from Medak district. The State government issued orders nominating the Commission members as well yesterday. Accordingly, K. Neela Devi from Adilabad district, Rambabu Naik from Nalgonda district, K. Laxminarayana from Karimnagar district, Z Shankar from Nalgonda, and R. Praveen from Adilabad have been appointed as members of the commission.

दिल्‍ली सरकार ने पिछले साल की तरह इस बार भी पराली गलाने के लिए खेतों में बायो डी-कंपोजर का निःशुल्क छिड़काव करेगी। दिल्ली के विकास मंत्री गोपाल राय ने कल निःशुल्क बायो डी-कंपोजर के छिड़काव को लेकर कृषि विभाग के अधिकारियों के साथ बैठक की। इस बैठक के बाद विकास मंत्री राय ने बताया कि दिल्ली के अंदर बासमती और गैर बासमती धान के सभी खेतों में सरकार द्वारा  निःशुल्क बायो डी-कंपोजर का छिड़काव किया जाएगा। उन्‍होंने कहा कि बायो डी-कंपोजर के छिड़काव को लेकर कृषि विभाग को धान के खेतों का जल्द सर्वे करने के निर्देश दिए दिए गए है। साथ ही निःशुल्क बायो डी-कंपोजर के छिड़काव के लिए 11 टीमों का गठन भी कर दिया गया है।  विकास मंत्री राय ने कहा कि दिल्ली के अंदर सर्दियों के मौसम में होने वाली प्रदूषण की समस्या के समाधान के लिए सरकार अलग-अलग विभागों के साथ बैठक कर अपना विंटर एक्शन प्लान बना रही है।

दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय छात्र संघ चुनाव के लिए मतदान आज होगा। महाविद्यालयों में दो पालियों में वोट डाले जायेंगे। सुबह शुरु होने वाले महाविद्यालयों में वोट सुबह साढ़े आठ बजे से डाले जा सकेंगे। वहीं, शाम के महाविद्यालयों में मतदान तीन बजे से शुरू होगा। मतों की गणना 23 सितंबर को होगी। कोविड महामारी के वजह से तीन वर्ष बाद हो रहे, इस छात्र संघ चुनाव में, छात्रसंगठन, अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद- (ए वी बी पी), नेशनल स्टूडेंट्स यूनियन ऑफ इंडिया (एन एस यू आई) और ऑल इंडिया स्टूडेंट्स एसोसिएसन (ए आई एस ए) के बीच कड़ी टक्कर है। इसके अलावा स्टूडेंट फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडिया- (एस एफ आई) भी मैदान में हैं। आकाशवाणी समाचार से बातचीत में दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय छात्र संघ चुनाव अधिकारी प्रोफेसर चंद्रशेखर सिंह ने बताया है कि सुचारु और पारदर्शी चुनाव के लिए महाविद्यालयों में व्यापक व्यवस्था की गई है।

चौथा नदी उत्सव आज से नई दिल्ली के इंदिरा गांधी राष्ट्रीय कला केंद्र में शुरू होगा। इस वर्ष का विषय यमुना नदी पर केंद्रित है। तीन दिन तक चलने वाले इस कार्यक्रम में सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम, पुस्तक मेला, वृत्तचित्र फिल्म महोत्सव और कठपुतली शो सहित कई प्रकार के कार्यक्रम होंगे। इसमें नदी संरक्षण के विषय पर आधारित चित्र, सांझी कला और स्कूली बच्चों द्वारा बनाए गए चित्रों को भी प्रदर्शित किया जाएगा। आकाशवाणी समाचार के साथ बातचीत में राष्ट्रीय सांस्कृतिक मानचित्रण मिशन के सहायक निदेशक अभय मिश्रा ने युवाओं और जनता के बीच जल निकायों के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाने को कहा।

नई दिल्‍ली नगरपालिका परिषद के उपाध्‍यक्ष सतीश उपाध्‍याय ने कल परिषद के अधिकारियों के साथ जनपथ रोड का निरीक्षण किया। इस दौरान उन्‍होंने अधिकारियों को क्षेत्र में पर्यावरण और बुनियादी ढांचे को बढाने के लिए कई महत्‍वपूर्ण निर्देश दिए। इसके अंतर्गत मौलाना आजाद रोड के चढाई से लेकर अकबर रोड चौराहे तक के आसपास के क्षेत्र के विकास और सौंदर्यीकरण के लिए परिषद के विभिन्‍न विभागों को निर्देश जारी किए गए हैं। रोड पर एल शेप, ग्रीन बेल्‍ट डेवलपमेंट पौधों के साथ गैप फिलिंग की योजना बनाने के भी आदेश दिए गए हैं। इसके अलावा जनपथ और मौलाना आजाद रोड के जंक्‍शन के चौराहे पर एक फव्‍वारा लगाने को कहा गया है।

चलते हैं मुंबई की और, महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे ने राज्य जल संसाधन विभाग से लंबित सिंचाई परियोजनाओं को पूरा करने के लिए नाबार्ड और अन्य वित्तीय संस्थानों से अतिरिक्त धनराशि मांगने को कहा है। गुरुवार को मुंबई में आयोजित एक समीक्षा बैठक के दौरान, श्री शिंदे ने उपमुख्यमंत्री अजीत पवार और अन्य लोगों के साथ सितंबर 2024 तक लंबित सिंचाई परियोजनाओं को पूरा करने के लिए पंद्रह हजार करोड़ रुपये जुटाने के प्रस्ताव पर चर्चा की। एक आधिकारिक बयान में बताया गया है कि 89 लघु सिंचाई राज्य में लंबित परियोजनाओं के लिए करीब सात हजार 351 करोड़ रुपये की फंडिंग की जरूरत है जबकि अमृत योजना और नगरोत्थान योजना के अंतर्गत अन्य 144 परियोजनाओं के लिए चार हजार 686 करोड़ रुपये के फंड की जरूरत है!

नवी मुंबई के कामोठे में कल 'मेरी माटी मेरा देश' अभियान के अंतर्गत भजनी मंडल और ढोल ताशा जैसे पारंपरिक वाद्ययंत्रों के संगीत के साथ एक अमृत कलश यात्रा का आयोजन किया गया। पनवेल नगर निगम द्वारा आयोजित यात्रा में कॉलेज के छात्रों ने मिट्टी और अनाज एकत्र किया। पनवेल नगर निगम ने शनिवार को नवीन पनवेल और कलंबोली में इसी तरह की यात्रा आयोजित की थी। पनवेल में अमृत कलश यात्रा आज निकलेगी।

प्रवर्तन निदेशालय-ईडी ने कल कोलकाता हाई कोर्ट में लीप्स एंड बाउंड कंपनी के सीईओ और अन्य अधिकारियों की संपत्ति और संपत्ति से संबंधित दस्तावेज जमा किए हैं। इससे पहले ईडी ने कहा था कि तृणमूल कांग्रेस के अखिल भारतीय महासचिव अभिषेक बनर्जी इस कंपनी के सीईओ हैं। 14 सितंबर को कोलकाता हाई कोर्ट की न्यायमूर्ति अमृता सिन्हा ने ईडी को लीप्स एंड बाउंड कंपनी के सीईओ और अन्य अधिकारियों की संपत्ति का ब्योरा कोर्ट में पेश करने का आदेश दिया था। कल ईडी ने हलफनामे के तौर पर ब्योरा दाखिल किया है। कोर्ट में सुनवाई के दौरान प्रवर्तन निदेशालय ने कोलकाता पुलिस पर अतिसक्रियता का आरोप लगाया है। जस्टिस अमृता सिन्हा ने आदेश दिया है कि कंपनी के कंप्यूटर से 16 फाइलें डाउनलोड करने की घटना से संबंधित लीप्स एंड बाउंड कंपनी के अधिकारियों के खिलाफ कोई कार्रवाई नहीं की जा सकती है।

Chennai is expected to have a partly cloudy sky with possibility of moderate rain or Thunderstorm. The minimum temperature was 26 degrees Celsius and maximum will be around 34 degrees.

Bengaluru is expected to have a generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers. The minimum temperature was 21 degrees Celsius and maximum will be around 29 degrees.

Hyderabad is also expected to have a generally cloudy sky but with moderate rain. The temperature will hover between a minimum of 23 degrees and a maximum of 28 degrees Celsius.

दुर्गा खोटे (अंग्रेज़ी: Durga Khote, जन्म: 14 जनवरी, 1905; मृत्यु: 22 सितंबर, 1991) अपने ज़माने में हिन्दी व मराठी फ़िल्मों की प्रसिद्ध अभिनेत्री थीं। उन्होंने अनेक हिट फ़िल्मों में शानदार अभिनय किया। आरम्भिक फ़िल्मों में नायिका की भूमिकाएँ करने के बाद जब वे चरित्र अभिनेत्री की भूमिकाओं में दर्शकों के सामने आईं, तब उनके बेमिसाल अभिनय को आज तक लोग याद करते हैं। दुर्गा खोटे ने क़रीब 200 फ़िल्मों के साथ ही सैंकड़ों नाटकों में भी अभिनय किया और फ़िल्मों को लेकर सामजिक वर्जनाओं को दूर करने में अहम भूमिका निभाई। अभिनय के अलावा दुर्गा खोटे ने लंबे समय तक लघु फ़िल्में, विज्ञापन फ़िल्में, वृत्तचित्रों और धारावाहिकों का भी निर्माण किया। तो आइए....फिर सुनते हैं दुर्गा खोटे की ही आवाज में फिल्‍म मुगले आजम का ये सुप्रसिद्ध डॉयलॉग....।
