अनुराग-पहलवान

युवा कार्यक्रम और खेल मंत्री अनुराग सिंह ठाकुर ने कहा है कि सरकार पहलवानों के मुद्दों पर उनके साथ बातचीत करने की इच्‍छुक है। एक ट्वीट में श्री ठाकुर ने कहा कि उन्‍होंने एक बार फिर से पहलवानों को बातचीत के लिए आमंत्रित किया है। पहलवान भारतीय कुश्‍ती परिसंघ के अध्‍यक्ष बृजभूषण शरण सिंह की गिरफ्तारी की मांग को लेकर आंदोलन कर रहे हैं। उन्‍होंने बृजभूषण पर यौन उत्‍पीड़न का आरोप लगाया है।

RAJNATH-GERMANY

German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius, who is on a visit to India, will travel to Mumbai today, where he is likely to visit the Headquarters of the Western Naval Command and Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited. India and Germany have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen bilateral defence cooperation and explore ways to further enhance the defence industrial partnership. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and his German counterpart Boris Pistorius held delegation level talks in New Delhi yesterday. In the meeting, Mr. Singh highlighted the opportunities that have opened up in the defence production sector, including the possibilities for German investments in the two Defence Industrial Corridors in Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.

राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू तीन दिवसीय सूरीनाम यात्रा के बाद सर्बिया के लिए रवाना हो गईं। यात्रा के अंतिम दिन कल राष्ट्रपति मुर्मू ने प्रवासी भारतीय समुदाय को संबोधित किया। राष्ट्रपति की सूरीनाम यात्रा का ऐतिहासिक महत्व है। 5 जून को सूरीनाम में भारतीयों के आगमन की 150वीं वर्षगांठ समारोह में सुश्री मुर्मू मुख्य अतिथि थीं। यात्रा के दौरान, राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू को सूरीनाम के सर्वोच्च नागरिक सम्मान- द ग्रैंड ऑर्डर ऑफ़ द चेन ऑफ़ येलो स्टार से अलंकृत किया गया। राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मु यह पुरस्कार पाने वाली पहली भारतीय हैं। राष्ट्रपति की यात्रा के दौरान भारत और सूरीनाम के बीच स्वास्थ्य और कृषि के क्षेत्र में सहयोग बढ़ाने के लिए 3 समझौता ज्ञापनों पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए।

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has thanked Speaker of US House of Representatives Kevin McCarthy, U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell, Majority Leader of the Senate Chuck Schumer and Minority Leader of the U.S House of Representatives Hakeem Jeffries for inviting him to address a Joint Meeting of the Congress on the 22nd of this month. In a tweet, Mr Modi said, he is honored to accept and look forward to once again address a Joint Meeting of the Congress. He said, India is proud of its Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership with the US, built upon the foundation of shared democratic values, strong people-to-people ties and an unwavering commitment to global peace and prosperity.

आईएमडी चक्रवात

क्षेत्रीय मौसम विज्ञान केंद्र, मुंबई ने कहा है कि, पूर्व-मध्य और इससे सटे दक्षिण-पूर्व अरब सागर के ऊपर चक्रवाती तूफान बिपरजॉय और प्रभावशाली हो रहा है। मौसम विभाग ने कर्नाटक और महाराष्‍ट्र के तटों के पास मछुआरों को समुद्र में सतर्क रहने की सलाह दी है। चक्रवाती तूफान उत्तर की ओर बढ़ रहा है और अगले 24 घंटों के दौरान और शक्तिशाली हो सकता है। यह तूफान गोवा से लगभग 850 किलोमीटर और मुंबई से 900 किलोमीटर दक्षिण-पश्चिम में, पोरबंदर से 1110 किलोमीटर दक्षिण-दक्षिण पश्चिम में है।

WTC FINAL-INDIA-AUS

Team India will play the second consecutive World Test Championship (WTC) final in as many editions, as they take on Australia at the Oval in London for the summit clash today. The match will begin at 3 PM Indian Time. Australia topped the WTC points table in the 2021-23 cycle with 66.67 points per cent in 19 Tests.

The NDA Government that has completed its nine years in office has many milestones to its credit. It has the ambition of making India a Vishwaguru at the end of Amrith kaal by 2047. Going with this spirit, the Government has envisaged an ambition to send Indians to outer space by next year and ISRO is working on it under Gaganyaan mission. More from our Correspondent :

The Indian Space Research Organisation, ISRO is developing advanced technologies under Gaganyaan programme that will ultimately send three Indians to outer space by next year. The objective of Gaganyaan programme is to demonstrate indigenous capabilities to undertake human space flight missions to Low Earth Orbit. ISRO has planned two unmanned missions this year and one manned mission by next year. By which three Indian astronauts will be sent to an orbit of 400 kms for a three days mission and will be brought back safely to earth by landing in Indian sea waters. ISRO has developed three technologies for this. They are Crew Escape Systems, Habitable Orbital Module and Life Support System. It is undertaking technology demonstration tests like Air drop test, pad abort test and test vehicle flights. Safety and reliability of all the systems will be proven preceding the unmanned and manned missions. It has also developed a human rated launch vehicle for carrying crew safely to space. Human rated  LVM3 heavy lift launcher for Gaganyaan mission will be capable of launching the Orbital Module to Low Earth Orbit. It will consist of a Crew Escape System that can ensure that the crew is taken to a safe distance in case of any emergency at the launch or during the ascent phase. The Orbital module that will carry the crew around the orbit for three days will be equipped with state of the art avionics systems with adequate redundancy considering human safety. It will have life support systems and be designed for re-entry to ensure safety of the crew till touchdown. The astronauts for the mission are undergoing training in Bengaluru. After the successful Gaganyaan mission, India’s dream to have its own space station will become a reality where scientific and industrial research in focal areas of fundamental, applied and engineering sciences will be possible. The District Forest Officer of Ramanathapuram Jagish S.Bakan bagged the UNESCOs 2023 Michel Batisse Award for Bio sphere Reserve Management. He is also the director of Gulf of Mannar biosphere reserve. Mr.Bakan will receive the UNESCO Award in Paris on June 14. On the ocassion , he will present a report on the conservation measures taken to preserve the natural resources in the Gulf of Mannar. Tamilnadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin appreciated the efforts of the District Forest Officer for his efforts in protecting the bio diversity.

One Week One Lab Campaign is a nationwide theme-based campaign to showcase the technological breakthroughs and innovations of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research  laboratories across the country. The campaign is held in each of CSIR’s 37 constituent laboratories showcasing their legacy, exclusive innovations and technological breakthroughs every successive week. CSIR-Structural Engineering Research Centre (CSIR-SERC), a constituent laboratory of CSIR is organizing this campaign during 5-9 June 2023, which will culminate with the Foundation Day celebrations of CSIR-SERC on 10 June 2023.

BENGALURU

In North Karnataka, Naval area officials have successfully accomplished a herculean task of transplanting a hundred-year-old banyan tree in Karwar. The tree with a canopy of nearly eighty metres was trimmed under the advice of forest officials at Karwar. Two heavy duty JCBs were used in uprooting and shifting the tree to its new site. The tree was moved to take up the expansion of the hospital near the Naval base. The exercise was undertaken to reflect the commitment of the Indian Navy towards environmental preservation along with its modernisation plans.

Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation has introduced Ambaari Utsav bus Service from Kempegowda International Airport terminal in Bengaluru to Kundapura from tomorrow. The public road transport Corporation is right now operating elevan Flybus services from the International Airport to the tourist destinations of Mysuru and Mercara. The flybus is a luxury coach offering flight-like comfort.

HYDERABAD

A conference on Anti Human Trafficking -Rescue and Rehabilitation was organized at the Telangana State Police Academy  yesterday. Several governmental departments involved in the Anti-Human Trafficking work participated and shared their views and work being undertaken by them. Telangana DGP Anjani Kumar said Telangana ranks first among the States in the country in taking action against human trafficking, the third largest organized crime in the world. He stressed upon the need for   police department and   voluntary organizations to work together to prevent human and child trafficking. Additional DG   Shikha Goel, said the women safety wing works as a nodal agency in the State for all activities to prevent human trafficking. she added  Telangana is the first state to have anti-human trafficking units functioning in all police districts.

सूरजमल विहार स्थित गुरूगोविंद सिंह इंद्रप्रस्थ विश्वविद्यालय के पूर्वी परिसर का कल उद्घाटन होगा। दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल इसे देश को समर्पित करेंगे। दिल्ली की शिक्षामंत्री आतिशी ने एक प्रेस वार्ता में यह जानकारी दी। 388 करोड़ रूपये की लागत से 19 एकड़ में बने इस शानदार परिसर में दो हजार चार सौ छात्रों को विश्वस्तरीय शिक्षा मिल सकेगी।

दिल्ली-नगर निगम

दिल्ली नगर नगम की महापौर शैली ओबराय ने स्वास्थ्य विभाग के अधिकारियों को शहर में हॉटस्पाॉट चिन्हित कर डेंगू, मलेरिया और चिकनगुनिया की रोकथाम के निर्देश दिए हैं। महापौर ने अधिकारियों से मच्‍छर जनित बीमारियों की रोकथाम के लिए वर्तमान उपायों की जानकारी मांगी। उन्होंने निगम कर्मचारियों को निर्देश दिए कि जिन क्षेत्रों से डेंगू मलेरिया के ज्यादा मामले आते हैं, वहां वे ज्यादा सतर्कता के साथ काम करें।

मुंबई समाचार- गडकरी

केंद्रीय सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्री नितिन गडकरी ने कल कहा कि, भारतमाला परियोजना के हिस्से के रूप में, सरकार वर्तमान में महाराष्ट्र में सिन्नार बाईपास के निर्माण सहित NH-160 के सिन्नार-शिरडी खंड को 4-लेन कर रही। ट्वीट्स में उन्होंने कहा कि इस रिवर्तनकारी परियोजना का बड़ा माजिक महत्व है। उन्होंने कहा, इस पहल के प्राथमिक उद्देश्यों में से एक महाराष्ट्र के दो प्रमुख धार्मिक शहरों शिरडी और नासिक/त्र्यंबकेश्वर के बीच यात्रा के समय को काफी कम करना है। इसके अलावा, स्थिरता के लिए हमारी दृढ़ प्रतिबद्धता के अनुरूप, परियोजना में कार्बन उत्‍सर्जन को कम करने और यातायात की भीड़ को कम करने के लिए विभिन्न उल्लेखनीय तकनीकों को शामिल किया गया है।

सीबीआई गिरफ्तारी

केंद्रीय जांच ब्यूरो ने दो अलग-अलग मामलों की जांच के दौरान यूबी केंद्र, जेएनसीएच, मुंबई में तैनात सीमा शुल्क के दो तत्कालीन उपायुक्तों को गिरफ्तार किया है। आरोप है कि निजी व्यक्तियों के साथ मिलकर 02 वर्ष से अधिक समय तक विदेश में रहने वाले विभिन्न व्यक्तियों के पासपोर्ट का उपयोग करने के लिए एक सिंडिकेट के रूप में काम कर रहे थे और पासपोर्ट धारकों से संबंधित वस्तुओं की आड़ में विभिन्न वस्तुओं के आयात के लिए उन पासपोर्ट का उपयोग कर रहे थे।

कोलकाता समाचार-

पश्चिम बंगाल में राज्य लोक निर्माण विभाग और शहरी विकास विभाग ने डेंगू, मलेरिया जैसी मच्छर जनित बीमारियों को रोकने के लिए किए गए उपायों पर सभी नगर पालिकाओं से साप्ताहिक रिपोर्ट मांगी है। मच्छरों के लार्वा को नियंत्रित करने के लिए नियमित सफाई अभियान और जागरूकता अभियान चलाने के अलावा नगर निगम के अधिकारियों को हर 15 दिन में घर-घर जाकर औचक निरीक्षण करने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं। उन क्षेत्रों में अधिक निगरानी के आदेश दिए गए हैं जहां पिछले सीजन में संक्रमण दर अधिक थी। निर्माणाधीन मकानों और आवासों पर विशेष नजर रखने को कहा गया है। सभी नगर पालिकाओं को गाइडलाइन का सख्ती से पालन करने को कहा गया है।

Chennai is expected to have  thunderstorm with rain. The minimum temperature is 29 degrees celsius and maximum will be around 39 degrees.

Bengaluru is expected to have a generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers. The minimum temperature is 22 degrees celsius and maximum will be around 33 degrees.

Hyderabad is expected a Partly cloudy sky with. The minimum temperature is 24 degrees celsius and maximum will be around 39 degrees celsius.

BIRTH

नटराज रामकृष्ण (21 मार्च, 1923- 7 जून, 2011)

नृत्य गुरु नटराज रामकृष्ण की आज पुण्‍य तिथ‍ि है। आंध्र प्रदेश संगीत नाटक अकादमी के अध्यक्ष रहे नटराज रामकृष्ण एक विद्वान संगीतज्ञ माने जाते हैं जिन्होंने शास्त्रीय नृत्य को दुनिया भर में बढ़ावा दिया। उन्होंने 40 से अधिक पुस्तकें लिखीं।

मात्र 18 साल की उम्र में ही रामकृष्ण को मराठा के तत्कालीन शासक द्वारा नागपुर में 'नटराज' की उपाधि दी गई थी। नटराज रामकृष्ण को 700 साल पुराने नृत्य रूप 'पेरिनी शिवतांडवम' को पुनर्जीवित करने के लिए जाना जाता है। उन्होंने कुचिपुड़ी को पारंपरिक नृत्य रूप के साथ अंतरराष्ट्रीय ख्याति दिलाई। आंध्र प्रदेश के तत्कालीन मुख्यमंत्री नीलम संजीव रेड्डी के अनुरोध पर नटराज रामकृष्ण ने हैदराबाद में 'नृत्य निकेतन' नामक नृत्य विद्यालय की स्थापना की थी।

Today is the birthday of veteran actress, Latha, who acted majorly in Tamil and Telugu films. She entered films when she was fifteen and was encouraged by her aunt, actress Kamala Kotnis. Her first film was Ulagam Sutrum Valiban (1973), whose star and producer was M. G. Ramachandran.

It was shot exclusively in foreign locations such as Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Japan. The film's success skyrocketed her to the top of the industry and she was felicitated by the press for being the best and most glamorous amongst all the four actresses in the film. She remained M. G. Ramachandran's leading lady for several years in Tamil films. He recommended her to star with Akkineni Nageswara Rao for Andala Ramudu (1973), thus making her debut in Telugu films. She specialized in playing glamorous roles in Tamil and Telugu films. She played Zeenat Aman's role in two remakes of Yaadon Ki Baaraat (1973): the Telugu film Annadammula Anubandham(1975) and the Tamil film Naalai Namathay (1975).

ख़्वाजा अहमद अब्बास (7 जून 1914 - 1 जून 1987)

प्रसिद्ध फ़िल्म निर्देशक, पटकथा लेखक ख़्वाजा अहमद अब्बास की आज जयंती है। वे उन कुछ गिने चुने लेखकों में से एक रहे जिन्‍होंने 4 दशक से अधिक काम किया। इनका जन्म 7 जून 1914 को हरियाणा के पानीपत में हुआ। 1943 के बंगाल में पड़े अकाल पर आधारित 'धरती के लाल' से 1945 में उनका फिल्‍मी दुनिया का सफर शुरू हुआ। 1953 में आई अब्बास की फ़िल्म 'राही' मुल्क राज आनंद की एक कहानी पर आधारित थी जिसमें चाय के बागानों में काम करने वाले श्रमिकों की दुर्दशा को दर्शाया गया था।

फ़िल्म निर्माता-निर्देशक और अभिनेता राजकपूर के साथ ख़्वाजा अहमद ने सबसे सफल फिल्‍में की। 'आवारा' (1951), 'श्री 420' (1955), 'जागते रहो' (1956), 'मेरा नाम जोकर' (1972) और 'बॉबी' (1973) जैसी उनकी कई सफल फ़िल्में लिखी। आर. के. बैनर की फ़िल्म 'हिना' (1991) भी अब्बास की एक कहानी पर आधारित थी।

Today, we are remembering her on her birth anniversary today. She was active between 1945 and 1989. Born as Khurshid Akhtar in Lahore, Punjab in British India  into a Muslim family, Shyama moved to MUmbai from Lahore in the 1940s. As a young girl, she acted in a few films such as Noor Jehan's husband Shaukat Hussain Rizvi's Zeenat (1945 film) and Meerabai (1947). She worked with Shammi Kapoor in romantic classic Mirza Sahiban (1957).

Director Vijay Bhatt gave her the stage name Shyama, by which she is credited in her movies.]She had starring roles in Guru Dutt's classic Aar Paar (1954 film), and later in Barsaat Ki Raat (1960 film), which was perhaps her best performance. She was a major star in the 1950s and 1960s and acted in more than 150 movies, many in starring roles. During the period 1952 - 60, she appeared in as many as 80 films, mostly in leading roles. In 1963, she had as many as 18 releases and in 1964 she had 17 releases.
