राष्‍ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू को सूरीनाम के सर्वोच्‍च नागरिक सम्‍मान- द ग्रैंड आर्डर ऑफ द चेन ऑफ येलो स्‍टार से सम्‍मानित किया गया है। पारामारिबो में सूरीनाम गणतंत्र के राष्‍ट्रपति चंद्रिका परसाद संतोखी ने उन्‍हें यह सम्‍मान प्रदान किया। राष्‍ट्रपति मुर्मू यह सम्‍मान प्राप्‍त करने वाली पहली भारतीय हैं।

इस अवसर पर राष्‍ट्रपति‍ ने कहा कि यह सम्‍मान न केवल उनके लिए बल्कि उन 140 करोड से अधिक भारतीयों के लिए भी अत्‍यन्‍त महत्‍वपूर्ण है जिनका वे प्रतिनिधित्‍व कर रही हैं। राष्‍ट्रपति मुर्मू ने इस सम्‍मान के लिए सूरीनाम सरकार के प्रति हार्दिक आभार व्‍यक्‍त किया और कहा कि यह दोनों देशों के बीच सतत सहयोग संबंध का प्रतीक है।

राष्‍ट्रपति मुर्मू सूरीनाम के तीन दिन की राजकीय यात्रा पर हैं।   उन्‍होंने सूरीनाम के राष्‍ट्रपति के साथ प्रतिनिधिमंडल स्‍तर की बातचीत की। इस दौरान राष्‍ट्रपति ने कहा कि भारत के ही समान सूरीनाम भी विविधता वाला देश है जहां विभिन्‍न जातियों, भाषाओं और धर्मों के लोग शांति और सद्भाव के साथ रहते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि भारत और सूरीनाम के गहरे एतिहासिक और सांस्‍कृतिक संबंधों ने दोनों देशों के बीच आधुनिक बहुमुखी साझेदारी की नींव रखी है। उन्‍होंने इस बात का भी उल्‍लेख किया किया कि सूरीनाम में हिंदी व्‍यापक रूप से बोली जाती है जो उन्हें मातृभूमि की याद दिला रही है।

भारत सरकार ने सूरीनाम को बाढ़ राहत प्रयासों के अंतर्गत पांच करोड रुपये से अधिक की आवश्‍यक दवाओं की आपूर्ति की भी घोषणा की है। राष्‍ट्रपति मुर्मू ने इस सिलसिले में राष्‍ट्रपति संतोखी को प्रतीकात्‍मक रूप से दवाओं की एक खेप राष्‍ट्रपति भवन में हुए समारोह में प्रदान की।

पारामारिबो में विशेष संवाददाता सम्‍मेलन में विदेश मंत्रालय के पूर्वी मामलों के सचिव सौरभ कुमार ने कहा कि द्विपक्षीय संबंधों को मजबूत करने के लिए उठाये गए कदमों के अंतर्गत भारत सरकार ने सूरीनाम में भारतीय मूल के लोगों की पांचवीं और छठीं पीढी को विदेशी भारतीय नागरिकता की सुविधा प्रदान की है। वहां प्रवासी भारतीयों की ओर से लंबे समय से यह मांग हो रही थी। उन्‍होंने यह भी कहा कि स्‍वास्‍थ्‍य के क्षेत्र में हुए समझौते से भारतीय दवा उद्योग को सूरीनाम के बाजार का लाभ मिलेगा।

राष्‍ट्रपति मुर्मू को सूरीनाम में भारतीयों के आगमन की 150वीं वर्षगांठ के अवसर पर समारोह में मुख्‍य अतिथि के रूप में आमंत्रित किया गया था। इस दौरान राष्‍ट्रपति सूरीनाम में प्रवासी भारतीयों की ओर से किए गए कई सांस्‍कृतिक कार्यक्रमों में शामिल हुईं।

राष्‍ट्रपति मुर्मू आज वहां लालारूख संग्रहालय, आर्य दिवाकर मंदिर और श्रीविष्‍णु मंदिर जाएंगीं। इसके बाद वे गेवालेन हेल्‍डेन 1902 स्‍मारक पर श्रद्धांजलि भी अर्पित करेंगी और फिर प्रवासी भारतीयों की ओर से आयोजित स्‍वागत समारोह में भाग लेंगी।

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has initiated an investigation into the Balasore train accident in Odisha. East Coast Railway's Khurda Division sources said a ten-member team of the investing agency visited Balasore's Bahanaga triple train accident site yesterday. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, who is camping at Bahanaga to see the restoration work, said the CBI would investigate the circumstances of the train accident and the persons responsible for this mishap. The Railway Board had recommended a CBI probe into Friday’s accident. The Railway Safety Commissioner Shailesh Kumar Pathak also started probing the cause of the accident separately. Besides, the Balasore Government Railway Police has registered a case under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and Railway Act over the accident. Meanwhile, train services on the accident route have been normalized.

रक्षामंत्री राजनाथ सिंह आज नई दिल्ली में जर्मनी के रक्षा मंत्री बोरिस पिस्टोरियस के साथ वार्ता करेंगे। श्री पिस्टोरियस चार दिन की भारत यात्रा पर कल दिल्ली पहुंचे। बैठक के दौरान औद्योगिक सहयोग सहित द्विपक्षीय रक्षा सहयोग के विभिन्न मुद्दों पर बातचीत होगी। जर्मनी के रक्षा मंत्री के नई दिल्ली में रक्षा उत्कृष्टता नवाचार द्वारा आयोजित कार्यक्रम में कुछ रक्षा स्टार्टअप से भी मिलने की आशा है।

Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has shared his concerns over recent reports of abnormal surge pricing on certain air routes. In an hour-long meeting with the Airlines Advisory Group in New Delhi, Mr Scindia discussed the issue of air fares. The Minister emphasised that airlines must self-monitor airfares on certain select routes that have seen a considerable surge in pricing of late, particularly those that were earlier being serviced by Go First airline. Mr Scindia said, during any calamity, airlines need to keep a tight check on pricing of air tickets in view of the humanitarian situation, and control any surge in ticket prices. He advised airlines to provide free carriage (cargo) services to the families of the deceased of the rail accident in Odisha.

ईरान आज सऊदी अरब में अपना राजनयिक दूतावास फिर से खोल रहा है। दोनों देशों के बीच सात वर्ष के तनाव के बाद राजनयिक संबंध स्थापित होंगे। ईरान के विदेश मंत्रालय के प्रवक्ता नसीर कन्नानी ने कहा कि रियाद में ईरानी दूतावास, जेद्दाह में महावाणिज्य दूत और इस्लामी सहयोग संगठन में स्थाई प्रतिनिधि कार्यालय आज और कल से आधिकारिक रूप से खुल जाएंगे।

मार्च में ईरान और सऊदी अरब के बीच राजनयिक संबंध फिर से स्थापित करने पर सहमति बनी थी। 2016 में सऊदी अरब ने तेहरान में अपने राजनयिक मिशन पर हमले के बाद ईरान से राजनयिक संबंध तोड़ लिए थे।

Team India will play their second consecutive World Test Championship (WTC) final in as many editions and will look to go one better this time around as they take on Australia at the Oval in London for the summit clash tomorrow. Australia topped the WTC points table in the 2021-23 cycle, with 66.67 points per cent (PCT)  in 19 Tests. India made its cut for the final, with 58.8 PCT after beating the Kangaroos 2-1 in the recently concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy series at home.

In the inaugural edition of the WTC 2021 final, India lost to New Zealand by eight wickets at the Rose Bowl in Southampton.

The Greater Chennai Traffic police closed 277 pending drunk driving cases and collected Rs. 28 lakh 72 thousand in a special drive by making phone calls to violators through call centres. So far, 13 thousand 251 cases of drunk driving have been closed and 13 crore was collected as penalty in the last five months. Traffic police also conducted surprise checks at 156 locations and 8912 pending cases were disposed of including 67 drink driving cases. In total more than one lakh 81 thousand pending cases were disposed of and a penalty amount of around 7 crore 58 thousand rupees was collected in the last five months.

The Greater Chennai Corporation is setting up a park along the banks of Adyar river. The park is being set up at a cost of Rs 9 crore 41 lakhs and will feature walking tracks, play area, native trees, beaches and fountains among other facilities. Municipal administration and water supply department secretary Shiv Das Meena who inspected the park work directed officials to ensure proper toilet facilities and add more toilets if required. City Corporation Commissioner said that the park would have native trees. Necessary information such as facilities available in the park must be displayed brightly.

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has announced that the budget session of legislative Assembly and Council will be held tentatively from July 3 to 7th. A decision regarding this will be taken in the Cabinet meeting. Speaking to the media persons in Davangere, the Chief Minister said that the previous Government had presented a budget of 3.09 lakh crore rupees and the budget size to be presented by him during the session will be decided during the budgetary preparations in the next few weeks. On hike in electricity rates, the Chief Minister defended his Government by saying that the increase in electricity rates was decided by Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission earlier and his Government is just implementing them.

Telangana State IT Minister K T Rama Rao unveiled annual report   of the IT department at T-Hub in Hyderabad. Highlighting the remarkable progress made by Telangana in the IT sector, the minister said Hyderabad became a leading destination for IT investments in the country. He mentioned that even after the cancellation of the ITIR project by the Centre, the city's progress in the sector remained unhindered. He said despite challenges posed by COVID-19 pandemic, Hyderabad has consistently outpaced national average in IT sector growth across various indices.

Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao inaugurated Rethink - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle (RRR) Knowledge hub, introduced by the State Government in partnership with ASCI, the Environmental Surveillance Laboratory in Hyderabad. Speaking on the occasion Taraka Rama Rao said State government will be promoting wastewater recycling in Hyderabad by introducing a policy. Participating in World Environment Day celebrations, the minister said in partnership with ASCI, the State government will establish a circular economy hub at MAUD for resource efficiency, decarbonising the economy and climate change mitigation .  The minister highlighted Rethink is an IOT based platform to connect RRR centres in the towns of Telangana with recyclers, MSMEs and start-ups. He said Rethink is the first-of-its-kind initiative in the country

दिल्‍ली-मेट्रो

उच्‍चतम न्‍यायालय दिल्ली में ओला-उबर और रैपिडो जैसी कैब एग्रीगेटर कंपनियों की बाइक सर्विस पर रोक लगाने की मांग वाली दिल्ली सरकार की अर्जी पर 7 जून को सुनवाई करेगा। न्‍यायाधीश अनिरुद्ध बोस की अध्यक्षता वाली अवकाशकालीन पीठ ने यह आदेश दिया। दिल्ली उच्‍च न्‍यायालय ने बाइक सर्विस पर रोक लगाने वाले दिल्ली सरकार के फैसले पर रोक लगा दी थी। दिल्ली सरकार ने इस आदेश को उच्‍चतम न्‍यायालय में चुनौती दी है। दिल्ली परिवहन विभाग ने उबर,ओला और रैपिडो जैसे राइड-शेयरिंग प्लेटफॉर्म द्वारा बाइक टैक्सी सेवाओं को चलाना बंद करने का निर्देश जारी किया था।

दिल्‍ली सरकार द्वारा पर्यटन स्‍थल के रूप में विकसित की जा रही तिमारपुर झील को जल्‍द ही आम लोगों के लिए खोला जाएगा। यह जानकारी दिल्‍ली के जल मंत्री सौरभ भारद्वाज ने कल इस झील से जुड़े निर्माण कार्यों की समीक्षा के दौरान दी। उन्‍होंने बताया कि 14 एकड़ भूमि पर विकसित की जा रही इस झील का कार्य अंतिम चरण में है और बाकी दस प्रतिशत बचे कार्य को भी जल्‍द पूरा कर लिया जाएगा। जल मंत्री ने बताया कि जैव पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र को बनाए रखने और भू-जल स्‍तर को रिचार्ज करने के उद्देश्‍य के साथ इस झील को तैयार किया जा रहा है। उन्‍होंने यह भी जानकारी दी कि इस झील परिसर में पांच एकड़ जमीन पर सीवेज शोधन संयंत्र का निर्माण किया जा रहा है, जिससे प्रतिदिन साफ पानी इस झील में छोड़ा जाएगा। श्री भारद्वाज ने कहा कि इस झील परिसर में लोगों के लिए फूड कैफे, सेल्‍फी प्‍वाइंट, ओपन एयर थियेटर और ऑडिटोरियम जैसी तमाम विश्‍वस्‍तरीय सुविधाएं होंगी।

महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे ने सोमवार को ठाणे में एशिया की सबसे बड़ी, महत्वाकांक्षी और ऐतिहासिक समूह विकास योजना का शुभारंभ किया। मुख्यमंत्री शिंदे की अवधारणा से अनधिकृत और खतरनाक इमारतें आधिकारिक सामूहिक पुनर्विकास के लिए एक विनियमन तैयार किया गया था। पुनर्विकसित टाउनशिप योजना में अच्छी तरह से सुसज्जित स्वास्थ्य, शैक्षिक, खेल, मनोरंजन, पार्किंग, मंडी और नागरिक सुविधाएं शामिल हैं। सिडको परियोजना को क्रियान्वित करेगा। परियोजना के अंतर्गत टाउनशिप की तर्ज पर एकीकृत पुनर्विकास परियोजना की जाएगी। निवासियों को 323 वर्ग फुट का मालिकाना हक वाला घर मिलेगा। मुख्यमंत्री शिंदे ने कहा कि सरकार राज्य भर में औद्योगिक गलियारों के तेजी से विकास के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है, यहां तक कि राष्ट्रीय औद्योगिक गलियारे पर केंद्रीय समिति ने पिछले सप्ताह एक समीक्षा बैठक में महाराष्ट्र में किए जा रहे बुनियादी ढांचे के विकास कार्यों की सराहना की। 1500 हेक्टेअर के कुल क्षेत्रफल के साथ कुल 45 शहरी उत्थान योजनाएँ तैयार की गई हैं।

आकाशवाणी कोलकाता सहित निजी एफएम स्टेशनों ने विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस पर जागरूकता संदेश देने के लिए अभिनव पहल की है। रेडियो कार्यक्रमों के प्रस्तुतकर्ताओं ने विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों के अंतराल में दर्शकों को विभिन्न पर्यावरण जागरूकता संदेश प्रसारित करना शुरू कर दिया है। विभिन्न हैम रेडियो और सामुदायिक रेडियो संगठनों ने भी इस पहल में अपनी भागीदारी की घोषणा की है। हाल ही में यूनिसेफ और एक निजी स्वयंसेवी संगठन ने संयुक्त रूप से 'मिशन लाइफ' कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत रेडियो प्रस्तुतकर्ताओं के साथ एक कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया।

पूर्व की बात करें तो कोलकाता में आंशिक रूप से बादल छाए रहेंगे। अधिकतम तापमान 39 डिग्री और न्‍यूनतम 30 डिग्री सेल्सियस रहने की संभावना है।

चलें पश्चिम में तो मुंबई में आंशिक रूप से बादल छाये रहेंगे। अधिकतम तापमाप 35 डिग्री और न्‍यूनतम 28 डिग्री सेल्सियस रहने का अनुमान है। ये तो बात हुई दिल्ली, मुंबई और कोलकाता के मौसम की।

The Lumière brothers, Auguste Marie Louis Nicolas Lumière (19 October 1862 – 10 April 1954) and Louis Jean Lumière (5 October 1864 – 6 June 1948), were French manufacturers of photography equipment, best known for their Cinématographe motion picture system and the short films they produced between 1895 and 1905, which places them among the earliest filmmakers.

Their screening of a single film on 22 March 1895 for around 200 members of the Society for the Development of the National Industry in Paris was probably the first presentation of projected film. Their first commercial public screening on 28 December 1895 for around 40 paying visitors and invited relations has traditionally been regarded as the birth of cinema. Either the techniques or the business models of earlier filmmakers proved to be less viable than the breakthrough presentations of the Lumières.

Stanley Getz (February 2, 1927 – June 6, 1991) was an American jazz saxophonist. Playing primarily the tenor saxophone, Getz was known as "The Sound" because of his warm, lyrical tone, with his prime influence being the wispy, mellow timbre of his idol, Lester Young. Coming to prominence in the late 1940s with Woody Herman's big band, Getz is described by critic Scott Yanow as "one of the all-time great tenor saxophonists".[1] Getz performed in bebop and cool jazz groups. Influenced by João Gilberto and Antônio Carlos Jobim, he also helped popularize bossa nova in the United States with the hit 1964 single "The Girl from Ipanema".

Daggubati Ramanaidu (6 June 1936 – 18 February 2015) was an Indian film producer known for his work in Telugu cinema. He founded Suresh Productions in 1964 which became of one of the largest film production companies in India. He was placed in the Guinness Book of World Records for the most films produced by an individual, with more than 150 films in 13 Indian languages.He also served as a Member of Parliament for the Bapatla constituency in Andhra Pradesh in the 13th Lok Sabha from 1999 to 2004.

In 2012, Ramanaidu was conferred with the third-highest civilian award of India, the Padma Bhushan, in recognition for his contribution to Indian cinema. In 2009, he was conferred with the Dada Saheb Phalke Award, the highest award for films in Indian cinema. He has also received the Raghupathi Venkaiah Award, and the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award – South for his work in Telugu cinema. Ramanaidu contributed a substantial part of his earnings to numerous philanthropic purposes under the "Ramanaidu Charitable Trust" that was founded in 1991.

गीत.....सावन का महीना

सुनील दत्त ने अपने कैरियर की शुरूआत साउथ एशिया के सबसे पुराने रेडियो स्टेशन सीलोन पर एक उद्घोषक के रूप में की। इससे इन्हें काफी लोकप्रियता हासिल हुई। इसके बाद सुनील दत्त ने फिल्म क्षेत्र में अभिनय करने का निर्णय लिया और मुंबई आकर इस कार्य में जुट गए।        इनकी सबसे पहली फिल्म सुहरहिट रही, सन् 1955 में बनी फिल्म ”रेलवे प्लेटफार्म”। इन्हें बॉलीवुड का स्टार बनाने वाली फिल्म रही,सन् 1957 में बनी फिल्म “मदर इंडिया”। सन् 1964 में इनकी आने वाली फिल्म रही “मुझे जीने दो”। यह फिल्म इतनी सुपर हिट रही कि इसने सुनील दत्त को फिल्म फेयर का सर्वश्रेष्ठ अभिनेता का पुरस्कार दिला दिया।        फिल्म “खानदान” जो कि इस फिल्म के ठीक दो वर्ष बाद रिलीज हुई,पुन: इनको फिल्म फेयर का सर्वश्रेष्ठ अभिनेता का पुरस्कार दिला गई। साठ के दशक मे इनकी एक से एक बेहतरीन फिल्में आईं,जिनमें प्रमुख हैं - गुमराह, सुजाता, मुझे जीने दो, पड़ोसन, हमराज, खानदान इत्यादि।

पहली बार इन्हें उत्तर पश्चिमी लोकसभा सीट से सन् 1984 में कांग्रेस पार्टी से टिकट मिला और सांसद बने और लगातार पाँच बार यहाँ से साँसद चुने जाते रहे। पचास से अधिक फ़िल्मों में काम किया और कई फ़िल्मों का निर्माण और निर्देशन किया। 2005 में इन्हें दादा साहेब फाल्के पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया।
