रेल मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्‍णव ने कल शाम ओडिसा के बालेश्‍वर स्‍टेशन पर कोरोमंडल एक्‍सप्रेस के पटरी से उतरने की घटना की उच्‍चस्‍तरीय जांच के आदेश दिए हैं। श्री वैष्‍णव ने कहा कि घटना दुर्भाग्‍यपूर्ण थी और मंत्रालय को सूचना मिलते ही राहत अभियान शुरू कर दिया गया। रेल अधिकारियों ने इस हादसे के बाद विभिन्‍न स्‍टेशनों पर अनेक रेलगाड़ियों को नियंत्रित किया है, कुछ को रद्द कर दिया गया और कुछ के मार्ग में परिवर्तन किया गया है।

दुर्घटना में मरने वालों की संख्‍या दो सौ 37 हो गई है और गंभीर रूप से घायलों की संख्‍या नौ सौ से अधिक होने की आशंका है। ओडिसा के मुख्‍यमंत्री नवीन पटनायक ने आज एक दिन के राजकीय शोक की घोषणा की है। वे आज सुबह दुर्घटना स्‍थल पर पहुंचे।

यह घटना कल शाम सात बजे हुई जब शालीमार-हावडा कोरोमंडल एक्‍सप्रेस बहनागा स्‍टेशन पर एक मालगाड़ी से टकराने के बाद पलट गई। इसके कुछ मिनट बाद ही इसी स्‍थान पर बंगलुरू-हावड़ा सुपरफास्‍ट ट्रेन भी पटरी से उतर गई।

ओडिसा के विशेष राहत आयुक्‍त कार्यालय ने आपात नियंत्रण कक्ष नम्‍बर जारी किया है - 6782 2622 86 पर डायल करके जरूरी जानकारी ली जा सकती है।

राष्‍ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मु ने दुर्घटना पर गहरा दुख व्‍यक्‍त किया है और घायलों के शीघ्र स्‍वस्‍थ होने की कामना की है। प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्‍द्र मोदी ने कहा है कि दुख की इस घड़ी में उनकी गहरी संवेदना पीडि़त परिवारों के साथ है। गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने भी हादसे पर दुख व्‍यक्‍त किया है।

प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्‍द्र मोदी ने मृतकों के निकट परिजनों के लिए प्रधानमंत्री राष्‍ट्रीय राहत कोष से दो-दो लाख रुपये की अनुग्रह राशि और घायलों के लिए 50 हजार रुपये दिए जाने की घोषणा की है।

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has chaired a high level meeting in New Delhi to review overall preparedness for flood management in the context of  the upcoming monsoon season. He also reviewed the long-term measures for formulation of a comprehensive and overarching policy to mitigate the perennial flood problems of the country. Mr Shah said, efforts are being made in the field of disaster management to help minimize the loss of lives and livelihoods during disasters. He said that five days rain and flood forecast is currently being given by India Meteorological Department and Central Water Commission which will be expanded to seven days forecast by next monsoon season so that the flood management can be further improved.

राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मु चार से नौ जून तक सूरीनाम और सर्बिया की यात्रा पर रहेंगी। यात्रा के पहले चरण में राष्ट्रपति कल से 6 जून तक सूरीनाम की यात्रा पर रहेंगी। राष्‍ट्रपत‍ि पांच जून को भारतीयों के आगमन की 150वीं वर्षगांठ समारोह में मुख्य अतिथि होंगी। यात्रा के दूसरे चरण में, राष्ट्रपति अलेक्‍जेंडर वुसिच के निमंत्रण पर सात से नौ जून तक सर्बिया की यात्रा पर रहेंगी। विदेश मंत्रालय में सचिव संजय वर्मा ने बताया कि भारत से 20 सदस्यीय व्यापार प्रतिनिधिमंडल भी जाएगा।

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has said, the government has made transformative changes in the defense sector by promoting self-reliance. Addressing an event in New Delhi yesterday, he said the government has emphasized on manufacturing of state-of-the-art weapons for the use of Indian forces. He said the country’s domestic defense production has crossed the one lakh crore rupees mark recently. The Minister said  that the government is working to build a developed India by the year 2047 by focusing on all sectors of the country.

India Meteorological Department IMD has said that heatwave is likely to continue over Bihar, West Bengal and Sikkim today. It will continue till 6th of this month. In Madhya Maharashtra and Vidarbha region heatwave will continue for next two to three days. Hot and humid weather conditions may occur in Andhra Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. IMD said, heavy rainfall is expected in Kerala and Andaman Nicobar Islands from today till the 5th of this month.

तीसरे खेलो इंडिया यूनिवर्सिटी गेम्स का समापन समारोह आज वाराणसी के टेक्नो स्टेडियम में आयोजित किया जाएगा। उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ, केंद्रीय खेल मंत्री अनुराग सिंह ठाकुर और खेल राज्य मंत्री निशीथ प्रमाणिक समापन समारोह में भाग लेंगे।

पदक तालिका में पंजाब यूनिवर्सिटी चंडीगढ़ शीर्ष पर है। पंजाब ने 24 स्वर्ण, 12 रजत और 20 कांस्य सहित कुल 56 पदक जीते। अमृतसर का गुरु नानक देव विश्वविद्यालय 17 स्वर्ण, 24 रजत और 11 कांस्य सहित कुल 52 पदकों के साथ दूसरे स्थान पर है।

In Thailand Open Badminton, Indian star shuttler Lakshya Sen will take on Thailand’s Kunlavut Vitidsarn in the semifinals of Men's singles in Bangkok today. Earlier, Lakshya Sen defeated the Malaysia's Jun Hao Leong 21-19, 21-11 in the quarter finals yesterday. In another quarterfinal match, Indian shuttler Kiran George was defeated by French player Toma Popov by 16-21, 17-21.

The Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate for CBI Cases, Egmore, Chennai has  sentenced the CEO cum Chairman of a private software company to undergo five years rigorous imprisonment and a total penalty of 1,25, 000 rupees. The CBI had registered a case on complaint by the Indian Bank against the accused of Palpap Ichinichi software international limited. All the three accused had submitted forged documents to avail loan an failed to pay the loan amount thereby causing a loss to the tune of 4 .19 crore rupees  to the Indian Bank . The trial court found them as guilty and convicted them.

In Bengaluru, a private sector property consultancy firm estimates that it will cost 2800 crore rupees to build 658 kilometres of new stormwater drains in order to prevent flooding. The research makes note of how the city's stormwater drains and surrounding lakes have experienced fast real estate development, which has decreased their capacity to hold rainwater.  It says that the city’s built up area ballooned to 93 percent in 2020 from 37 percent in 2002. But Bengaluru has 842 kilometres of primary and secondary drains but many of these needed to be overhauled. It says that additional 658 kms of stormwater drainage is required by 2031 when the estimated population of Bengaluru will be around 1.8 crores. For Bengaluru city, the month of May this year was the wettest in the last 66 years. The city recorded 301.1 mm of rain during last month, which broke the all-time monthly record of 287.1 mm of rain received in the month of May in 1957. The state capital received 343 mm of rain from March 1 to May 30 this year.

In Jammu and Kashmir, the sixth Tirupati Balaji Temple of the country is all set to be inaugurated on the 8th of June in Jammu. Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is organising the Ankurarpanam fete today for the Maha Samprokshana commemoration programme slated on June 8. Celestial Maha Samprokshana fête will be held in the Mithuna Lagnam between 7.30 AM -8.15 AM on June 8 and the temple will be open for Sarva Darshan from 09.30 AM onwards and in the evening a grand Srivari (Lord Balaji) Kalyanotsavam will be performed.

"Located in the picturesque Shivalik forests in the Majeen area on the outskirts of Jammu city, the temple will be thrown open for the devotees free of cost and the rituals will start from today. Special Pooja as a part of the inaugural ceremony will start tomorrow June 4 by the priests, and subsequently on June 8 the temple will be opened for the devotees following its inauguration by the Leuitenent Governor Manoj Sinha. The Jammu temple will be the sixth Balaji Temple constructed outside of Andhra Pradesh, with the TTD having previously built temples in Hyderabad, Chennai, Kanyakumari, Delhi, and Bhubaneswar. The TTD has built the Tirupati Balaji Temple in Jammu at a holy place and it falls on the route between Jammu and Katra. The temple’s construction is part of a broader initiative by the TTD to establish multiple Balaji temples across the country. The temple complex has been developed on 62 acres of land with an estimated cost of 30 crore rupees, is set to become one of the largest temples in the Jammu region and is expected to boost religious and pilgrimage tourism in the Union territory.  The temple is beautiful and is constructed entirely with stones and the domes and the idols are made of cement. The temple will be completed before the annual holy Amarnath Yatra, which starts on July 1. All the facilities are being provided in the Jammu temple and soon a Vedic school will also be started in the complex. Pilgrims visiting Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine in Katra can also visit the Tirupati Balaji Temple in Jammu. This is N. Gulshan Raina For AIR News, from Jammu."

फरहत- दिल्‍ली और मुंबई के समाचारों में सबसे पहले दिल्‍ली महानगर के समाचार-

रेल मंत्रालय ने नई दिल्ली में दो दिवसीय चिंतन शिविर का आयोजन किया। इसका उद्देश्य प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के विजन 2047 को लागू करने के लिए कार्य योजना तैयार करना था। इस अवसर पर रेल मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने रेल सुरक्षा और नई तकनीकों को अपनाने पर जोर दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि देश के आर्थिक विकास में रेलवे की महत्‍वपूर्ण भूमिका है। श्री वैष्णव ने अधिकारियों से सालाना एक हजार करोड से अधिक करोड़ यात्रियों की जरूरतों को पूरा करने और भीड़भाड़ से निपटने के तरीकों पर काम करने को कहा। उन्‍होंने अधिकारियों से नई तकनीक अपनाने और बुलेट ट्रेन परियोजना से सीखे गए सबक को अपनाने का भी आग्रह किया।

दिल्ली पेट्रोल-डीजल एसोसिएशन ने घोषणा की है कि दो हजार का नोट लेकर आने वाले ग्राहकों को कम से कम एक हजार रुपये का पेट्रोल या डीजल वाहन में डलवाना अनिवार्य होगा। इस संबंध में एसोशिएशन द्वारा पेट्रोल-पंपों पर नोटिस भी लगाये गये हैं।

एसोशिएशन का कहना है कि रिजर्व बैंक द्वारा जब से दो हजार के नोटों को वापिस लेने की घोषणा की है, तब से ग्राहक नोट बदलने के लिए बड़ी संख्या में पचास- सौ रुपये का पेट्रोल-डीजल लेने पेट्रोल पंपों पर पहुंच रहे हैं।

महाराष्ट्र की प्रसिद्ध आषाढ़ी वारी में भाग लेने वाली महिला श्रद्धालुओं की स्वच्छता और सुरक्षा को देखते हुए राज्य महिला आयोग 'आरोग्य वारी' नामक एक गतिविधि का आयोजन करेगा।

महाराष्ट्र राज्य आयोग की अध्यक्ष रूपाली चाकणकर ने कहा कि इस पहल का यह दूसरा साल है। आगामी वारी के दौरान महिलाओं के लिए इस स्वास्थ्य पहल के प्रभावी क्रियान्वयन के लिए कल एक बैठक आयोजित की गई। इस अवसर पर तीन जिलों सतारा, पुणे, सोलापुर के प्रशासन द्वारा की गई तैयारियों की समीक्षा की गई। अध्यक्ष ने बताया कि करीब 20-21 दिनों तक महिलाएं करीब दो सौ किमी का सफर पैदल तय करती हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि पुणे जिला प्रशासन ने महिलाओं के लिए 1290 मोबाइल शौचालयों और 12 स्कूलों की व्यवस्था की है। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि चिकित्सकों की टीम में स्त्री रोग विशेषज्ञ की सुविधा उपलब्ध है और 30 स्थानों पर आश्रय कक्ष बनाए गए हैं।

पश्चिम बंगाल में "बांग्ला सहायता केंद्र" के माध्यम से ऑनलाइन लेनदेन की राशि 100 करोड़ रुपये को छूने जा रही है। नवान्ना के प्रशासनिक सूत्रों के अनुसार, इस राशि का लेन-देन सहायता केंद्रों के माध्यम से एक वर्ष से भी कम समय में किया गया था। सितंबर 2022 से मोटर वाहन अधिनियम के तहत बिजली बिल, किराया, नामांतरण शुल्क, जुर्माना जमा करने की सेवा बांग्ला सहायता केंद्रों के माध्यम से शुरू की गई है। तब से अब तक करीब 92 करोड़ रुपए का कारोबार हो चुका है।

Ambedkar Social Innovation and Incubation Mission (ASIIM) launched in the year 2020 by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment is a flagship scheme to promote innovation and entrepreneurship skills among youths of Scheduled Castes (SCs). The scheme envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is today supporting more than 1000 innovative ideas every year till 2024 preparing a pool of over 6000 Scheduled Caste young entrepreneurs with special preference given to Divyangs.

"Ambedkar Social Innovation and Incubation Mission (ASIIM) launched in the year 2020 by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment is a flagship scheme to promote innovation and entrepreneurship skills among youths of Scheduled Castes (SCs). The scheme envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is today supporting more than 1000 innovative ideas every year till 2024 preparing a pool of over 6000 Scheduled Caste young entrepreneurs with special preference given to Divyangs. ASIIM has been designed to empower innovative ideas, provide synergetic work with Technology Business Incubators (TBIs) and help translate start-up ideas into commercial ventures by providing equity funding through Venture Capital Fund. The VC Fund set up for the scheduled castes with a fund size of Rs 500 crores aims at providing sanctioned financial assistance to set up business ventures by young entrepreneurs who are further promoted by 117 private companies. ASIIM will help the selected young entrepreneurs to become job-givers. It would further give fillip to the ‘Stand Up India and Skill India’ initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Youths selected under ASIIM will be funded up to Rs. 30 lakhs in 3 years as equity investment funding based upon their innovative idea. Successful ventures under this scheme would further qualify for venture capital funding of up to Rs. 5 Crore. Startup companies and small businesses that are believed to have long-term growth potential will hence be empowered with mentorship, incubation and equity based financial assistance focusing upon the socio-economic development of the country. मौसम विभाग के अनुसार अगले 24 घंटे के दौरान दिल्ली और उसके आस-पास के क्षेत्रों में आंशिक बादल छाये रहने की संभावना व्यक्त की गई है। अधिकतम तापमान 37 डिग्री सेल्सियस और न्यूनतम तापमान 22 डिग्री सेल्सियस के आसपास रहने का अनुमान है।

मुंबई में आसामन साफ रहेगा। न्यूनतम तापमान 30 डिग्री और अधिकतम तापमान 33 डिग्री सेल्सियस तक जा सकता है।

कोलकाता में आज हल्की धूप खिली रहेगी। न्यूनतम तापमान 28 डिग्री  और अधिकतम 38 डिग्री के आसपास रहेगा।

2008 -तेलंगाना राष्ट्र समिति के अध्यक्ष के. चन्द्रशेखर राव ने उपचुनाव में क़रारी हार के बाद अपने पर से इस्तीफ़ा दिया। केन्द्र सरकार ने सीमेंट निर्यात पर रिफंड को दी गई मंज़ूरी वापस ली। जापानी प्रयोगशाला के साथ अमेरिकी अंतरिक्ष एजेंसी नासा का डिस्कवरी यान अंतर्राष्ट्रीय अंतरिक्ष स्टेशन पहुँचा। वैज्ञानिकों को सौर परिवार के बाहर अब तक का सबसे छोटा ग्रह मिला।

बालकृष्ण भट्ट (अंग्रेज़ी: Balkrishna Bhatt; जन्म- 3 जून, 1844, इलाहाबाद, उत्तर प्रदेश; मृत्यु- 20 जुलाई, 1914) आधुनिक हिन्दी साहित्य के शीर्ष निर्माताओं में से एक थे। आज की गद्य प्रधान कविता का जनक इन्हें माना जाता है। बालकृष्ण भट्ट एक सफल नाटककार, पत्रकार, उपन्यासकार और निबन्धकार थे। भट्ट जी ने निबन्ध, उपन्यास और नाटकों की रचना करके हिन्दी को एक समर्थ शैली प्रदान की। ये पहले ऐसे निबन्धकार थे, जिन्होंने आत्मपरक शैली का प्रयोग किया था। बालकृष्ण भट्ट को हिन्दी, संस्कृत, अंग्रेज़ी, बंगला और फ़ारसी आदि भाषाओं का अच्छा ज्ञान था। इन्होंने हिन्दी साहित्य की विविध रूपों में सेवा की। लगभग बत्तीस वर्षों तक 'हिन्दी प्रदीप' का संपादन कर भट्टजी अपने विचारों का व्यक्तिकरण करते रहे। ये 'भारतेन्दु युग' की देदीप्यमान मौन विभूति होने के साथ-साथ 'द्विवेदी युग' के लेखकों के मार्ग-दर्शक और प्रेरणा स्त्रोत भी रहे।

Nadal is one of only two men to complete the Career Golden Slam in singles, the other being Andre Agassi.

हरविलास शारदा (अंग्रेज़ी: Harbilas Sharda, जन्म- 3 जून, 1867, अजमेर, राजस्थान; मृत्यु- 20 जनवरी, 1955) भारत के प्रसिद्ध शिक्षाविद, राजनेता, समाज सुधारक, न्यायविद और लेखक थे। वह बाल-विवाह प्रथा पर अंकुश लगाने के उद्देश्य से, बहुचर्चित 'शारदा ऐक्ट' के प्रकल्पक थे। हरविलास जी समाज सेवा के क्षेत्र में आरंभ से ही अग्रणी थे। स्वामी दयानंद सरस्वती द्वारा स्थापित 'परोपकारिणी सभा' के सचिव के रूप में उन्होंने काम किया था। उनका सबसे प्रसिद्ध ग्रन्थ- 'हिंदू सुपीरियॉरिटी' है। इस ग्रन्थ में उन्होंने सप्रमाण सिद्ध किया है कि इतिहास काल में सभी क्षेत्रों में हिंदू सभ्यता अन्य देशों से बहुत आगे थी।

Dubbed the "Gentle Genius", he first achieved success and recognition with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-inducted group the Impressions during the civil rights movement of the late 1950s and the 1960s, and later worked as a solo artist.

After leaving The Impressions in 1970 in the pursuit of a solo career, Mayfield released several albums, including the soundtrack for the film Super Fly in 1972.

The soundtrack was noted for its socially conscious themes, mostly addressing problems surrounding inner city minorities such as crime, poverty and drug abuse.

He won a Grammy Legend Award in 1994 and a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1995.
