विदेश मंत्री डॉ एस जयशंकर ने कहा है कि ब्रिक्स समूह को ऐसे समय में परिवर्तन के प्रतीक के रूप में कार्य करना चाहिए जब विश्व समुदाय कोविड-19 महामारी के दुष्परिणामों और संघर्ष के कारण उत्पन्न तनाव से जूझ रहा है। कल दक्षिण अफ्रीका के केप टाउन में ब्रिक्स विदेश मंत्रियों की बैठक में डॉ जयशंकर ने समूह के सदस्यों से संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषद जैसे अंतर्राष्ट्रीय निकायों के सुधारों को आगे बढ़ाने और इसके वित्तपोषण सहित सभी प्रकार के आतंकवाद से निपटने के लिए गंभीर प्रयास करने का आग्रह किया। उम्मीद है कि इस बैठक में अगस्त में दक्षिण अफ्रीका में होने वाले ब्रिक्स शिखर सम्मेलन के एजेंडे को आकार दिया जाएगा। डॉ जयशंकर ने कहा कि चुनौतीपूर्ण अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्थिति को देखते हुए यह बैठक महत्वपूर्ण है। डॉ जयशंकर ने आतंकवाद को वैश्विक शांति और सुरक्षा के लिए प्रमुख खतरा बताया। विदेश मंत्री डॉ. एस जयशंकर ने ब्रिक्स बैठक से केप टाउन में रूसी विदेश मंत्री सर्गेई लावरोव से भी मुलाकात की। डॉ जयशंकर कल से दक्षिण अफ्रीका और नामीबिया के दो देशों की यात्रा पर हैं। भारत के किसी विदेश मंत्री की नामीबिया की यह पहली यात्रा है।

Prime Minister of Nepal Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' will be on a two-day visit of Madhya Pradesh starting today. State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will receieve Mr Dahal at the airport.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' will visit Ujjain after reaching Indore and visit Mahakal.  Shri Prachanda will take stock of the work of the Solid Waste Management Plant along with discussion about the cleanliness drive of Indore. Indore has been ranked first in the country for six consecutive years.  Shri Prachanda will visit TCS and Infosys Special Economic Zone in Indore tomorrow.  

The Prime Minister of Nepal arrived in New Delhi on Wednesday on a four-day visit to India. The Visiting dignitary held talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Following the talks,  India and Nepal signed seven agreements in various fields.

भारत ने कल ओडिशा के एपीजे अब्दुल कलाम द्वीप से सामरिक बल कमान से एक मध्यम दूरी की बैलिस्टिक मिसाइल, अग्नि-1 का सफल प्रशिक्षण प्रक्षेपण किया। रक्षा मंत्रालय ने बताया कि ये मिसाइल बहुत उच्च स्तर की सटीकता के साथ लक्ष्यों को भेदने में सक्षम है। प्रशिक्षण के लिए किया गया यह प्रक्षेपण सभी तकनीकी और संचालन मानदंडों पर खरा रहा।

In Badminton, Indian shuttlers Lakshya Sen and Kiran George have progressed to the quarterfinals of Men's Singles of Thailand Open in Bangkok. Lakshya defeated fourth seeded Li Shi Feng of China. He will face qualifier Leong Jun Hao of Malaysia in the last eight this afternoon.

Kiran overpowered world number 26, Weng Hong Yang of China. He will face Toma Junior Popov of France in a last eight clash this afternoon.

हॉकी में, भारतीय हॉकी टीम ने जूनियर एशिया कप 2023 के फाइनल में कल रात ओमान के सलालाह में सुल्तान कबूस यूथ कॉम्प्लेक्स स्टेडियम में पाकिस्तान को 2-1 से हरा दिया। इस खिताबी जीत के साथ भारत पुरुष जूनियर एशिया कप के इतिहास में सबसे सफल देश बन गया है। भारत की तरफ से अंगद बीर सिंह और अरिजीत हुंदल सिंह ने गोल किए। इससे पहले पाकिस्तान के बशारत अली ने एक गोल किया। यह पुरुषों के जूनियर एशिया कप में भारत का चौथा खिताब है। इससे पहले भारत ने 2004, 2008 और 2015 में ये खिताब जीता था। सेमीफाइनल में, भारत ने कोरिया गणराज्य को 9-1 से हराया था जबकि पाकिस्तान ने मलेशिया को 6-2 से हराया था। ओमान में पुरुष जूनियर एशिया कप हॉकी टूर्नामेंट आठ साल बाद आयोजित किया गया था।

रहस्यवादी संत और मानवतावादी फकीर ललन शाह की 249वीं जयंती मनाने के लिए कल ढाका में तीन दिवसीय भारत-बांग्ला संगीत समारोह शुरू हुआ। इस कार्यक्रम का आयोजन सांस्कृतिक और अनुसंधान संगठन ललन  विश्व संघ ने किया है जो ललन फकीर पर काम को लोकप्रिय बनाने और शोध को बढ़ावा देने के लिए काम कर रहा है।

भारत के उच्चायोग और बांग्लादेश के सांस्कृतिक मामलों के मंत्रालय इस आयोजन में सहयोग कर रहे हैं। कार्यक्रम का उद्घाटन करते हुए प्रसिद्ध गायक, विद्वान सुनील कर्मकार ने सरकार से फकीर ललन शाह को वही दर्जा देने का आह्वान किया जो कविगुरु रवींद्रनाथ टैगोर और बांग्लादेश के राष्ट्रीय कवि काजी नजरूल इस्लाम को दिया गया है।

Central University of Assam located at Silchar will be collaborating with four Universities of Bangladesh in academic research and studies. A delegation of Assam University Silchar led by Vice Chancellor Professor Rajive Mohan Pant has just come back yesterday after preliminary discussion with their Bangladeshi counterparts. The Tamilnadu Chapter of the NCC United and Disciplined Alumni Association will clean the pallavaram lake on 4th and 5th June on the occasion of the world environment day. The cleaning initiative will also include 1000 army personnel. The drive has been coordinated with the Army, NCC and Exnora.

A joint operation launched by the Coast Guard with DRI and Customs resulted in a seizure of 32.68 kilograms of gold valued at Rs.20 crores. The consignment which was being smuggled into India was seized from two fishing boats in the Gulf of Mannar area. The operation was organised based on specific information. The joint teams were deployed by both agencies and a close surveillance was conducted on fishing vessels operating in the Gulf of Mannar. The suspicious boat was identified near the international border line and was apprehended. While being chased, the suspects threw the consignment into the sea. Simultaneously a major diving operation was launched by the Indian Coast Guard to search for the illegal gold dumped into the sea. A second suspicious boat which had more than 21 kilograms of gold was also seized. Three suspects were apprehended in the case.

Karnataka Large and Medium Industries minister M B Patil has sought details of pending land acquisition cases in Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board, KIADB. Speaking to media persons in Bengaluru after a review meeting with the officials, the minister said that such pending cases will be resolved at an earliest. The minister also said that he has sought a report on allotment of industrial plots in the last five years and their current status. M B Patil said that an additional convention centre of 10,000 square feet will be built apart from the one 10,000 square feet centre that already exists in Whitefield.

Bengaluru city police have conducted special drives against drug peddlers, especially around the educational institutions which have opened after the summer vacation. The Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Srinivas R Gowda informed that they have booked 21 cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act and arrested three drug peddlers and 18 consumers.

The Union Ministry of Culture will celebrate Telangana state formation day with festivities at the historic Golconda Fort in Hyderabad today. Union Minister of Culture and Tourism G Kishan Reddy will inaugurate the two-day festivities with a flag-hoisting ceremony in the morning while cultural performances will be held in the evening. The celebrations will be in the spirit of Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat.

The Ministry of Culture, in a statement, said it is celebrating the 10th Telangana Formation Day at the Golconda Fort under the aegis of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The Minister in a tweet said the celebration is part of the Narendra Modi government's efforts to commemorate the legacy of martyrs who were part of the statehood movement and celebrate the rich culture of Telangana. The activities to be held include a march past, photograph and painting exhibition, classical dance performances by Anandaji and her group, performances by Manjula Ramaswamy and her group. The public will also have the opportunity to witness performances by renowned Telugu singers. The day will conclude with a spectacular performance by singer Shankar Mahadevan.

और आइए अब नजर डाल लेते हैं सबसे पहले राष्‍ट्रीय राजधानी दिल्‍ली सहित मुंबई और कोलकाता के समाचारों पर सबसे पहले बात राजधानी दिल्‍ली की।

दिल्‍ली परिवहन विभाग ने कल से इलेक्‍ट्रिक मोहल्‍ला बसों की शुरूआत के लिए एक व्‍यापक मूल्‍यांकन सर्वे शुरू किया है। पंद्रह दिवसीय यह सर्वे, शहर में विभिन्‍न स्‍थानों पर मोहल्‍ला बस सेवाओं की आवश्‍यकता की पहचान और उपयुक्‍त मार्गों का निर्धारण करने में सहायक होगा। इस सर्वे में 23 तकनीकी टीमों को अध्‍ययन करने के लिए विभिन्‍न क्षेत्रो में तैनात किया जाएगा।

कल एक वक्‍तव्‍य में दिल्‍ली के परिवहन मंत्री कैलाश गहलोत ने कहा कि मोहल्‍ला बस सेवा के अंतर्गत छोटे आकार की नौ मीटर लम्‍बी बसें उन मार्गों पर चलेंगी जहां बारह मीटर लम्‍बी बसों की पहुंच नहीं है। उन्‍होंने कहा कि परिवहन विभाग इस योजना के लिए जनता से प्रतिक्रिया लेने के बाद यह सुनिश्‍चित करेगा कि मोहल्‍ला बसों को सभी महत्‍वपूर्ण मार्गों पर चलाया जाए। शहर के लोग अपनी प्रतिक्रिया और सुझाव MOHALLA BUS FEEDBACK @ GMAIL.COM पर साझा कर सकते हैं।

दिल्ली और वाराणसी रेलवे रूट पर अतिरिक्त भीड़भाड़ के चलते विशेष रेलगाड़ी का संचालन किया जाएगा। दिल्ली और वाराणसी रेलवे रूट पर सप्ताह में तीन दिन विशेष रेलगाड़ी का संचालन होने यात्रियों को काफी राहत मिलेगी।

उत्तर रेलवे मुरादाबाद मंडल के वरिष्ठ मंडल वाणिज्य प्रबंधक कोचिंग सुधीर सिंह ने बताया कि रेलगाड़ी संख्या 04080 नई दिल्ली-वाराणसी विशेष रेलगाड़ी 03 से 30 जून के बीच प्रत्येक सोमवार, शुक्रवार और शनिवार को नई दिल्ली रेलवे स्टेशन से शाम सात बज कर बीस मिनट पर प्रस्थान कर अगले दिन सुबह 09 बजकर 45 मिनट बजे वाराणसी पहुंचेगी। वापसी दिशा में रेल गाड़ी संख्या 04079 वाराणसी-नई दिल्ली विशेष रेलगाड़ी 04 जून से 01 जुलाई के बीच हर मंगलवार, शनिवार और रविवार को वाराणसी से शाम छह बज कर 35 मिनट पर प्रस्थान कर अगले दिन सुबह 9 बजे नई दिल्ली पहुंचेगी। वातानुकूलित शयनयान एवं सामान्य श्रेणी के डिब्बों वाली यह स्पेशल रेलगाड़ी मार्ग में गाजियाबाद, मुरादाबाद, लखनऊ और प्रतापगढ़ स्टेशनों पर दोनों दिशाओं में रुकेगी।

महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे ने प्रशासन को पंढरपुर आषाढ़ी वारी के लिए योजना बनाने का निर्देश दिया। उपमुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस की उपस्थिति में मुंबई के सह्याद्री स्टेट गेस्टहाउस में बैठक आयोजित की गई। मुख्यमंत्री ने यह भी घोषणा की कि वारी के लिए आने वाले वाहनों के लिए वापसी यात्रा के साथ टोल टैक्‍स माफ किया जाएगा। श्री शिंदे ने यह भी कहा कि पंढरी में दर्शन के लिए समय पर आने वाले वरिष्ठ नागरिकों को विशेष सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराई जाएं। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि पंढरपुर आषाढ़ी वारी के लिए धन की कोई कमी नहीं है। उन्होंने कहा कि बजट में की गई घोषणा के अनुसार नगर पालिकाओं के लिए पांच से दस करोड़ और ग्राम पंचायतों के लिए पच्चीस से पचास लाख तक का दोगुना प्रावधान किया गया है। इसके अलावा सड़कों के लिए भी अलग से राशि आवंटित की है।

पश्चिम बंगाल सरकार ने निर्देश दिया है कि निगरानी बढ़ाने के लिए अब से आपदा या प्राकृतिक आपदा राहत वितरण से संबंधित सभी दस्तावेजों को ऑनलाइन संग्रहित किया जाएगा। इसके अलावा राहत के लिए ऑनलाइन आवेदन जमा करने की व्यवस्था शुरू की जा रही है। हाल ही में आपदा प्रबंधन विभाग के 10 अधिकारियों को राहत वितरण के प्रबंधन को देखने के लिए एक जिले से दूसरे जिले के दौरे पर भेजा गया था। नवान्ना में प्रशासनिक सूत्रों के मुताबिक उनके द्वारा दी गई रिपोर्ट की समीक्षा के बाद निगरानी मजबूत करने के लिए यह आदेश दिया गया है।

पहले हस्तलिखित रजिस्टरों का उपयोग वर्ष की शुरुआत में प्रत्येक जिले को भेजी जाने वाली राहत सामग्री पर नज़र रखने के लिए किया जाता था। लेकिन निरीक्षण दल द्वारा कुछ त्रुटियां देखी गई हैं। इस कारण राहत सामग्री का रिकॉर्ड ऑनलाइन रखने की व्यवस्था शुरू करने का प्रयास किया गया है, ताकि किस जिले में कितनी राहत दी गई है, कितना स्टॉक है और कितना बांटा गया है, इसकी सटीक जानकारी मिल सके।

राजधानी दिल्‍ली की बात करें तो आंशिक रूप से बादल छाए रहेंगे और हल्‍की वर्षा या फुहार पडने का अनुमान है। अधिकतम तापमान 35 डिग्री और न्‍यूनतम 22 डिग्री सेल्सियस रहने के आसार हैं।

अधिकतम तापमान 38 डिग्री और न्‍यूनतम 29 डिग्री सेल्सियस रहने की संभावना है।

चलें पश्चिम में तो मुंबई में आसमान साफ रहेगा। अधिकतम तापमाप 34 डिग्री और न्‍यूनतम 27 डिग्री सेल्सियस रहने का अनुमान है। ये तो बात हुई दिल्ली, मुंबई और कोलकाता के मौसम की।    

Chennai is expected to have partly cloudy sky. The minimum temperature will be 29 degree Celsius and maximum will be around 39 degrees.

Bengaluru is expected to have generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers. The minimum temperature will be 22 degree Celsius and maximum will be around 33 degrees.

Hyderabad will have partly cloudy sky. The temperature will hover between a minimum of 27 degrees and a maximum of 41 degree Celsius.

आइए पलटते हैं इतिहास के पन्‍ने और जानते हैं कि 02 जून को इतिहास में क्‍या कुछ महत्‍वपूर्ण घटनाएँ घटी 1896 गुगलिएलमो मार्कोनी ने रेडियो को अपने नाम पर पेटेंट कराने के लिये आवेदन आज ही के दिन 1896 में दिया जो बाद में दो जुलाई 1897 को स्वीकार कर लिया गया।

In 2014 Telangana officially became the 29th state of India, formed from ten districts of northwestern Andhra Pradesh.

उन विशिष्‍ट व्‍यक्‍तित्‍वों की भी बात करेंगे जो आज के दिन इस दुनिया में आए या जिन्‍होंने आज ही के दिन इस दुनिया को अलविदा कहा।

पण्डित श्रीराम शर्मा आचार्य (20 सितम्बर 1911 - 02 जून 1990) भारत के एक युगदृष्टा मनीषी थे जिन्होंने अखिल विश्व गायत्री परिवार की स्थापना की। उन्‍होंने अपना जीवन समाज की भलाई तथा सांस्कृतिक व चारित्रिक उत्थान के लिये समर्पित कर दिया। उन्होंने आधुनिक व प्राचीन विज्ञान व धर्म का समन्वय करके आध्यात्मिक नवचेतना को जगाने का कार्य किया ताकि वर्तमान समय की चुनौतियों का सामना किया जा सके। उनका व्यक्तित्व एक साधु पुरुष, आध्यात्म विज्ञानी, योगी, दार्शनिक, मनोवैज्ञानिक, लेखक, सुधारक, मनीषी व दृष्टा का समन्वित रूप था।

आचार्य श्रीराम शर्मा ने विश्‍व को जो अमूल्‍य निधि दी है, वह मानव कल्‍याण के लिए है, वे 4 वेद, 108 उपनिषद, 6 दर्शन, 20 स्मृतिया और 18 पुराणों के भाष्यकार हैं।

John E. Carter (June 2, 1934 - August 21, 2009) was an American doo-wop and R&B singer. He was a founding member of The Flamingos and a member of The Dells. Both groups have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, making Carter one of the few multiple inductees.

मणिरत्‍नम का जन्म 2 जून 1956 को मदुरै में हुआ था। उनका वास्तविक नाम गोपाल रत्नम सुब्रमण्यम अय्यर  था। उनके पिता का नाम रत्नम अय्यर था। उनके पिता एक फिल्म निर्माता थे, जो ‘वीनस पिक्चर’ जैसी बड़ी प्रोडक्शन कंपनी के साथ काम कर चुके थे।

फिल्में बनाने से पहले मणिरत्नम फिल्म सहायक के तौर पर भी काम कर चुके थे। फिल्म निर्देशक के रूप में उनकी पहली फिल्म कन्नड़ में ‘पल्लवी अनु पल्लवी’ थी, जिसमें अभिनेता अनिल कपूर और लक्ष्मी ने काम किया। इसके बाद मणिरत्नम ने कभी पीछे मुड़कर नहीं देखा और दक्षिण की तमाम भाषाओं में फिल्में बनाई। लेकिन मणिरत्नम को प्रसिद्धि ‘मौना रागम’ से मिली। मणिरत्नम के लिए 1989 में बनाई गई ‘गीताजंली’ जो मील का पत्थर साबित हुई। यह व्यावसायिक रूप से बहुत ही सफल फिल्म रही। इस फिल्म के लिए उन्हें ‘राष्ट्रीय फ़िल्म पुरस्कार’ भी मिला।

मणिरत्नम जिस तरह से दक्षिण के एक जाने - माने निर्देशक हैं, उसी तरह से वह बॉलीवुड के विख्यात फ़िल्मकार भी हैं। हिन्दी फिल्मों में उन्होंने  ‘रोजा’ (1992), ‘बॉम्बे’ (1995), ‘दिल से’ (1998)  साथिया,गुरु जैसी कई फिल्में दीं, जो सुपर हिट रहीं!

Raj Kapoor (pronounced [raːdʒ kəˈpuːɾ]; born Shrishti Nath Kapoor; 14 December 1924 - 2 June 1988), also known as Ranbir Raj Kapoor, was an Indian actor, film director and producer, who worked in Hindi cinema. He is considered one of the greatest and most influential actors and filmmakers in history of Indian cinema, and has been referred to as The Greatest Showman of Indian Cinema and as the Charlie Chaplin of Indian Cinema.

1935 में मात्र 10 साल की उम्र में फिल्म इंकलाब से अभिनय की शुरुआत की। मेरा नाम जोकर, संगम, अनाड़ी, जिस देश में गंगा बहती है, उनकी कुछ बेहतरीन फिल्में रही। बॉबी, राम तेरी गंगा मैली, प्रेम रोग जैसी हिट फिल्मों का निर्देशन भी किया।
