राष्‍ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू आज से पश्चिम बंगाल की दो दिन की यात्रा पर रहेंगी। राष्‍ट्रपति कोलकाता में नेताजी भवन में नेताजी सुभाषचंद्र बोस को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करेंगी। इसके बाद वे जोरासंको ठाकुरबाडी  जाकर गुरुदेव रवींद्रनाथ टैगोर को श्रद्धासुमन अर्पित करेंगी।

राष्‍ट्रपति कल बेलूर मठ जाएंगी। वे कोलकाता में यूको बैंक के 80 वर्ष पूरे होने पर आयोजित समारोह में भी शामिल होंगी। बाद में राष्‍ट्रपति शांतिनिकेतन जाएंगी, जहां वे विश्‍व भारती विश्‍वविद्यालय के दीक्षांत समारोह में भाग लेंगी।

The second meeting of the Environment and Climate Sustainability Working Group will begin at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar today. Representatives from more than 30 countries and several international organizations will take part in the event. The meeting will be formally inaugurated tomorrow in the presence of Union Minister Darshana Jardosh. Representatives from more than 30 countries and several international organizations will take part in the event. The three-day meeting will focus on three priority areas such as biodiversity and land degradation, Encouraging resource efficiency in the circular economy, and promoting the sustainable and climate-resilient blue economy. The G 20 representatives were accorded a traditional welcome at the Ahmedabad Airport.

The three-day meet will commence today with a side event on Water Resource management during which India’s capabilities to make water accessible to all will be showcased. All the G 20 countries will also demonstrate their best practices of Water Resource Management. Later, the delegates will be taken on an excursion to the ancient stepwell Adalaj ni Vav which will demonstrate the long-standing Indian tradition of water conservation. They will also be taken to Engineering Marvels Sabarmati Siphon structure and Sabarmati Escape. During the meeting, various water management interventions of the Indian Government such as Namami Gange, Jal Jeevan Mission, Jal Shakti Abhiyan will be showcased.

प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्‍द्र मोदी ने कोरोना के बढते मामलों को देखते हुए लोगों से एहतियात बरतने और स्‍वच्‍छता का ध्यान रखने की अपील की है। कल आकाशवाणी से मन की बात कार्यक्रम की 99वीं कड़ी में यह बात कही। श्री मोदी ने लोगों से अंगदान करने की भी अपील करते हुए कहा कि कई जरूरतमंद लोग अंगदान की प्रतीक्षा में है। प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि अंगदान के लिए उसी राज्‍य का निवासी होने की शर्त को हटाने का निर्णय लिया गया है। इससे लोग किसी भी राज्‍य में अंगदान के लिए पंजीकरण करा सकेंगे।

Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has congratulated NSIL, IN-SPACe and ISRO for the successful launch of  LVM 3 -M3 satellite of the One Web India - 2 mission. In response to a tweet by OneWeb, the Prime Minister said, It reinforces India’s leading role as a global commercial launch service provider in the true spirit of Aatmanirbharta."

Yesterday, India has launched LVM 3 -M3 satellite with 36 satellites of the One Web India - 2 mission form Sathish Dhawan Space Centre Sriharikota. The OneWeb constellation is a network of satellites around the planet that are aimed at providing broadband connectivity across the world. Speaking after the launch, the Chairman of ISRO, Somnath said that the first 16 satellites of the one web India - 2 series were placed at the right orbit as planned, the remaining 20 satellites will also be positioned soon.

नेपाल में काठमांडू स्थित भारतीय दूतावास ने हाल में 58वां भारतीय तकनीकी और आर्थिक सहयोग दिवस आयोजित किया। भारतीय राजदूत नवीन श्रीवास्तव ने कहा कि भारत द्वारा विकसित और प्रोन्नत इन कार्यक्रमों से दुनिया के 160 से अधिक देशों के दो लाख सरकारी कर्मचारियों, पेशेवरों और उद्योग जगत के प्रतिनिधियों को अनुभव और विशेषज्ञता प्रदान की गई है। उन्होंने कहा कि इस वर्ष नेपाल के लिए विशेष तौर पर रेलवे जैसे क्षेत्रों में नए पाठ्यक्रमों पर विचार किया जा रहा है।

नेपाल के ऊर्जा, जल संसाधन और सिंचाई मंत्रालय में सचिव दिनेश घिमिरे, नेपाली सेना के ब्रिगेडियर जनरल पूर्ण बहादुर खत्री, संघीय संसद सचिवालय के सचिव राजनाथ पांडे और नेपाली सेना में मेजर रेशमा केसी ने भारत में अपने अध्ययन के दिनों को स्मरण किया। इस अवसर पर भारतीय दूतावास और स्वामी विवेकानंद सांस्कृतिक केंद्र के छात्रों ने सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम प्रस्तुत किए।

Union Minister of Labour & Employment Bhupender Yadav has announced addition of 500 beds to the 650-bed hospital attached with the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Medical College & Hospital in Faridabad.

Speaking at the event, Mr Yadav that following the directions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, entire governance mechanism including that of ESIC is ensuring transparency in its administration and service delivery. He said that use of latest technologies in ESIC will help in improving its service delivery mechanism. Mr Yadav further emphasized upon selflessness and obedience as the guiding principles for fulfillment of life’s missions. The Minister also unveiled a statue of Swami Vivekananda and inaugurated new services at the Bone Marrow Transplant Centre, state of the art Skill Lab; and a Gymnasium for students at Hospital. To provide technical and behavioural education to the students pursuing medical studies a state-of-the-art Skill Lab has been set up at a cost of 5 crore Rupees. Through the new lab, a practical training will be given on vital skills, including injection, pumping of the heart, activities of different parts of the body and methods of treatment.

अंतरिक्ष और खगोलीय घटनाओं में रूचि रखने वाले दुनिया भर के लोगों को इस सप्ताह जीवन काल में एक बार घटने वाला अलौकिक नज़ारा देखने को मिलेगा। इस सप्ताह रात्रि में आकाश में उन्हें पांच ग्रह एक साथ दिखेंगे। मार्च के अंतिम सप्ताह की शानदार खगोलीय घटना में बुध, शुक्र, मंगल, बृहस्पति और अरूण सहित पांच ग्रह सूर्यास्त के बाद चंद्रमा के साथ अर्द्धवृताकाकर रूप में नज़र आएंगे। खगोलीय विशेषज्ञों ने इसे बेहद दुर्लभ खगोलीय घटना बताया है। अमरीकी अंतरिक्ष एजेंसी नासा के खगोलशास्त्री बिल कुक ने कहा है कि ग्रह संरेखित तौर पर मंगलवार को सबसे बेहतर रूप में दिखेंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि सूर्यास्त के ठीक बाद पश्चिमी क्षितिज की ओर देखने पर यह नज़र आएगा।

विशेषज्ञों का कहना है कि आकाश में एक साथ नज़र आने वाले पांच ग्रहों में शुक्र सबसे चमकीला  और बृहस्पति और बुध के ऊपरी बाईं ओर दिखेगा। शुक्र ग्रह की चमक को नंगी आंखों से देखा जा सकता है। बृहस्पति ग्रह बुध से ज्यादा चमकीला नज़र आएगा। अरूण को सामान्य तौर पर देखना बहुत मुश्किल होगा। शुक्र के पास अरूण थोड़ा मंदा दिखाई देगा। मंगल ग्रह आकाश में बहुत ऊपर साफ रंगों के साथ दिखाई देगा।

In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Asia's largest Tulip Garden was thrown open to public at Srinagar yesterday. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha attended the opening ceremony and invited people from all over the world to visit J&K and discover the mesmerising beauty of 16 Lakh tulip flowers and enjoy the warm hospitality of the people of Jammu Kashmir. The Lieutenant Governor said that last year, an unprecedented 3.60 lakh tourists visited the Tulip Garden and believed that the number will further increase this year.

With the assistance of the government, iTNT collaborates with business owners, inventors, researchers, and the industry across ecosystems to promote innovation and have a beneficial impact on the world.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has appealed to the voters in Karnataka to provide absolute majority to BJP in the forthcoming assembly election in the state. He recalled that BJP got 104 seats in the 2018 assembly election which was little short of the magic number of 113 seats for a simple majority. He was speaking yesterday in the state capital at the final "Bengaluru habba" event. Mr. Shah provided information on the government-sponsored development initiatives for Bengaluru, noting that the metro network has reached 100 km, a suburban rail network is being built, the IT metropolis has excellent road connections to Chennai and Hyderabad, and defence production has expanded. He urged voters to support the BJP since it was founded on nationalism and prioritised national interest and prosperity. He applauded the state government's move to end religiously discriminatory policies in the state. He added that the four percent reservation given to the Muslims is now withdrawn and the same will be given to Vokkaligas and Lingayats.  During the event the Home minister unveiled the statues of 12th century social reformer Jagatjyoti Basavanna and Bengaluru city founder Nada Prabhu Kempegowda in front of Vidhana Soudha, the state secretariat building.

Telangana State Road Transport Corporation is set to launch its new AC sleeper buses with high-tech safety features later this morning. Passengers will have access to a total of 16 AC sleeper buses in the first phase, which are intended to compete with private buses. The Corporation will operate 16 new AC sleeper buses on the routes between Bengaluru and Hubli in Karnataka, Visakhapatnam and Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh, and Chennai in Tamil Nadu under the name "Lahari-Amma Odi Anubhuthi" (Mother's Lap experience). According to a press statement from the corporation, it has recently introduced 630 new ultra luxurious buses, 8 non-AC sleeper-cum-seater buses, and 4 non-AC sleeper buses, all of which have received positive feedback from the public. The new AC sleeper buses will be equipped with the latest technology including a tracking system and a panic button facility for passengers. All AC sleeper buses will be connected to the TSRTC control room, which will be alerted in case passengers engage the panic button.

Kalakshetra Foundation is issuing this statement, in the light of two Tweets by the National Commission for Women (NCW) on March 22, 2023. The NCWs Tweets were in relation with a report in an online magazine on March 21, 2023. On March 24, 2023, the Foundation wrote to the NCW in response and presented it with the relevant information and Foundation-initiated steps about the issue raised in the magazine. This has been notified to the appropriate authorities, including the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. A scurrilous campaign has been going on for the past few months through social media posts that cast doubt on Kalakshetra Foundation's operations, target specific academic members, and defame the reputation of the university.

मीरा भायंदर नगर निगम (एमबीएमसी) पहली मई से चरणबद्ध तरीके से अपने मौजूदा बेड़े में इलेक्ट्रिक बसों को शामिल करेगा। केंद्र सरकार द्वारा मिशन मोड में देश में वायु गुणवत्ता में सुधार के लिए प्रस्तावित राष्ट्रीय स्वच्छ वायु कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत निगम की सार्वजनिक परिवहन सेवाओं का स्‍वरूप बदलने के उद्देश्य से यह परियोजना लागू की जा रही है।

मुंबई के कांजुरमार्ग में म्हाडा कॉलोनी में 14 मंजिला आवासीय इमारत में आग लगने से पांच लोग झुलस गये हैं। इनमें तीन वरिष्ठ नागरिक और एक किशोर को अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है। पुलिस ने बताया कि आग का कारण शार्ट सर्किट हो सकता है। पांचों लोगों की हालत स्थिर है।

पश्चिम बंगाल सरकार ने विश्व बंगाल व्यापार सम्मेलन के माध्‍यम से राज्य में औद्योगिक क्षेत्र में निवेश के लिए निजी क्षेत्र की विभिन्न कंपनियों को आकर्षित करने की पहल की है। राज्य के मुख्य सचिव हरिकृष्ण द्विवेदी की अध्यक्षता में इस संबंध में गठित कार्यबल की पहली बैठक में यह निर्णय लिया गया। बैठक में समुद्री मछली से बने खाद्य उत्पाद, बंगाल की डेयरी परियोजना के और विस्तार तथा पर्यटन क्षेत्र पर बल देने पर चर्चा हुई। बैठक में गैर-पारंपरिक ऊर्जा, आर्थिक और औद्योगिक गलियारों तथा नदी आधारित पर्यटन नीतियों को अपनाने पर भी चर्चा हुई। राज्य में 21 नवंबर से 23 नवंबर, 2023 तक विश्व बंगाल व्यापार सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया जाएगा।

ड्रग माफिया मणिपुर से हेरोइन और अफीम मंगवाते थे और दिल्ली- एनसीआर, पंजाब और राजस्थान में इसकी आपूर्ति करते थे।

27 March is also observed as World Theatre Day (WTD). It was initiated in 1961 by the International Theatre Institute. World Theatre Day was initiated in 1961 by the International Theatre Institute ITI. It is celebrated annually on the 27th March by ITI Centres and the international theatre community. Various national and international theatre events are organized to mark this occasion. One of the most important of these is the circulation of the World Theatre Day Message through which at the invitation of ITI, a figure of world stature shares his or her reflections on the theme of Theatre and a Culture of Peace.

मलयालम फिल्मों के जाने माने अभिनेता और पूर्व लोकसभा सांसद इनोसेंट का कल रात कोच्चि के एक निजी अस्पताल में निधन हो गया। वे 75 वर्ष के थे। मलयालम फिल्म उद्योग में वे पांच दशक  तक सक्रिय रहे। तबीयत खराब होने पर इस महीने के आरंभ में उन्हें अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया था। पिछले कुछ दिनों से वे लाइफ सपोर्ट पर थे।

श्री इनोसेंट ने 700 से अधिक फिल्मों में अभिनय किया था, जिसमें ज्यादातर हास्य भूमिकाएं थीं। उन्हें मलयालम सिनेमा के सर्वश्रेष्ठ हास्य अभिनेताओं में से एक माना जाता था। उनकी प्रसिद्ध फिल्मों में मझाविलकवाड़ी, नंबर ट्वेन्टी मद्रास मेल, गांधीनगर सेकेंड स्ट्रीट, और डॉ पसुपति  शामिल हैं। वे विदपारायुम मुनपे, इलक्कंगल और ओरमाक्कयी जैसी फिल्मों के निर्माता भी थे।

श्री इनोसेट ने सर्वश्रेष्ठ सह अभिनेता का केरल राज्य फिल्म पुरस्कार, सर्वश्रेष्ठ सहायक अभिनेता के लिए फिल्मफेयर पुरस्कार सहित कई पुरस्कार जीते थे। वे 15 वर्षों तक एसोसिएशन ऑफ मलयालम मूवी आर्टिस्ट्स के अध्यक्ष भी रहे।

Retiring from political service in 1967, she turned to social work and also to writing, authoring among other things a book on Indian women for the Oxford Pamphlets on Indian Affairs series, published by Oxford University Press  She helped to found the Federation of University Women in India. In recognition of her services, she was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 1957

Leela Dube (27 March 1923 - 20 May 2012), was a renowned anthropologist and feminist scholar. She played a crucial role in shaping the "Towards Equality" report of the Committee on the Status of Women in India (1974), Government of India, discussion of which in the Parliament of India brought women's studies to centre stage in Indian academia. She was a key person in the Indian Sociological Society  in the 1970s and was responsible for introducing women's studies concerns into mainstream sociology.

पंडित कांशीराम ग़दर पार्टी के प्रमुख नेता और देश की स्वाधीनता के लिए अपने प्राण न्यौछावर कर दिये थे। पंडित कांशीराम का जन्म 1883 ई. में पंजाब के अंबाला ज़िले में हुआ था। मैट्रिक पास करने के बाद उन्होंने तार भेजने प्राप्त करने का काम सीखा और कुछ दिन अंबाला और दिल्ली में नौकरी की। इसके बाद वे अमेरिका चले गए।

यहीं से उनका क्रांतिकारी जीवन आरंभ होता है। आजीविका के लिए पंडित कांशीराम ने ठेकेदारी का काम किया। साथ ही वे 'इंडियन एसोसिएशन ऑफ अमेरिका' और 'इंडियन इंडिपैंडेंट लीग' में शामिल हो गए। उनके ऊपर लाला हरदयाल का बहुत प्रभाव पड़ा। वे संगठन भारत को अंग्रेजों की चुंगल से छुड़ाने के लिए बनाए गए थे। 1913 में पंडित कांशीराम ‘ग़दर पार्टी’ के कोषाध्यक्ष बन गए।

जिस समय यूरोप में प्रथम विश्वयुद्ध के बादल मंडरा रहे थे, ग़दर पार्टी ने निश्चय किया कि कुछ लोगों को अमेरिका से भारत वापस जाना चाहिए। वे वहां जाकर भारतीय सेना में अंग्रेजों के विरुद्ध भावनाएँ भड़काएँ। इसी योजना के अंतर्गत पंडित कांशीराम भी भारत आए।

उन्होंने सेना की कई छावनियों की यात्रा की और सैनिकों को अंग्रेजों की सत्ता उखाड़ फेंकने के लिए प्रेरित किया। कांशीराम और उनके साथियों ने अपने कार्य के लिए धन जुटाने के उद्देश्य से मोगा का सरकारी कोषागार लूटने का असफल प्रयत्न भी किया। इसी सिलसिले में एक सब इंस्पेक्टर और एक जिलेदार इनकी गोलियों से मारे गए।

कांशीराम और उनके साथी पकड़े गए, मुकदमा चला और 27 मार्च, 1915 को कांशीराम को फाँसी दे दी गई।

यूरी गागरीन (अंग्रेज़ी:Yuri Gagarin; जन्म- 9 मार्च, 1934, रूस, सोवियत संघ; मृत्य- 27 मार्च, 1968, रूस, सोवियत संघ) भूतपूर्व सोवियत संघ के विमान चालक और अंतरिक्षयात्री थे। 12 अप्रैल, 1961 को अंतरिक्ष में जाने वाले प्रथम व्यक्ति थे। यूरी गागरीन का जन्म 9 मार्च, 1934,को रूस, सोवियत संघ में हुआ था। इन्होंने पृथ्वी का एक चक्कर लगाकर अंतरिक्ष में मानव उड़ान के युग की शुरुआत की थी। ये 12 अप्रैल, 1961 को अंतरिक्ष में जाने वाले प्रथम व्यक्ति थे। अन्तरिक्ष की यात्रा करने के बाद यूरी गागरीन अंतरराष्ट्रीय सेलेब्रिटी बन चुके थे। यूरी गागरीन कई तरह के पदक और खिताबों से सम्मानित किया गया था। उन खिताबों में से एक ख़िताब था हीरो ऑफ़ द सोवियत यूनियन (Hero of the Soviet Union)। इन्होंने Vostok 1 नामक अन्तरिक्ष यान में अपनी यात्रा की थी। 1968 जब वे मिग 15 (MiG-15) नामक प्रशिक्षण विमान का संचालक कर रहे थे तो, विमान के दुर्घटनाग्रस्त होने के कारण उनकी मृत्यु हो गयी।

प्रिया राजवंश (अंग्रेज़ी- Priya Rajvansh; जन्म- 1937, शिमला, हिमाचल प्रदेश; मृत्यु- 27 मार्च, 2000, मुम्बई, महाराष्ट्र) भारतीय हिंदी सिनेमा की अभिनेत्री थी। इन्होंने सिर्फ चेतन आनन्द की बनाई फ़िल्मों में ही अभिनय किया था। उनकी कुछ उल्लेखनीय फ़िल्म हकीकत (1964), हीर राँझा (1970) तथा हँसते ज़ख़्म (1973) हैं।
