संसद का बजट सत्र आज से शुरू हो रहा है। राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मु आज पहले दिन केंद्रीय कक्ष में लोकसभा और राज्यसभा की संयुक्त बैठक को संबोधित करेंगी। आज ही दोनों सदनों में आर्थिक सर्वेक्षण पटल पर रखा जाएगा। केंद्रीय बजट 2023-24 बुधवार को पेश किया जाएगा। बजट सत्र छह अप्रैल तक चलेगा और 66 दिनों में इसकी 27 बैठकें होंगी।

इससे पहले कल संसद भवन परिसर में सर्वदलीय बैठक हुई। बैठक में विभिन्‍न दलों के नेताओं ने भाग लिया। सरकार ने सत्र के दौरान दोनों सदन में सुचारू कामकाज सुनिश्चित करने के लिए सभी राजनीतिक दलों से सहयोग मांगा। बैठक के बाद संसदीय कार्य मंत्री प्रह्लाद जोशी ने बताया कि सरकार नियमों और प्रक्रियाओं के अनुसार संसद में किसी भी मुद्दे पर चर्चा के लिए तैयार है।

Filing of nominations for Assembly Elections in Nagaland will begin today with the issuance of notification. Candidates can file their nomination papers till February 7. The scrutiny will be held on 8th and last date for withdrawal of candidature is 10th February.

The State will go to polls on February 27. Counting will be taken up on March the 2.

Meanwhile, filing of nominations for Tripura Assembly Elections ended yesterday. Our correspondent reports that a total of 305 nominations have been filed for a total of 60 seats.

BJP is fielding its candidates on 55 seats. Congress candidates Sudeep Roy Burman and Ashish Saha also filed their nominations yesterday.

Assembly Elections in the state will be held on 16th February and counting of votes will take place on the 2nd of March.

Information and Broadcasting Ministry has issued an advisory on obligation of Public Service Broadcasting for private broadcasters. The Guidelines requires the broadcasters to undertake public service broadcasting for 30 minutes every day. The Ministry has clarified the content need not be of 30 minutes at a stretch and could be spread over smaller time slots. The theme for the broadcasting should comprise of content of national importance and of social relevance like education and spread of literacy, agriculture and rural development, welfare of women, national integration and protection of environment and cultural heritage.

The Tamilnadu Government is all set to give a fresh charge to its electric vehicle eco system by updating policy in February. The new policy has taken cues from other top EV hubs such as Maharashtra, Gujarat and Karnataka. This includes demand side incentives, a wider range of supply side carrots , incentives for charging infrastructure, as well as policy nudges to transform the current pool of diesel light commercial vehicles into electric. Nearly all of this is in line with what stakeholders have been demanding. The new policy needs to subsidise retrofitting of two and three wheelers. Ashok Jhunjhunwala, IIT Madras professor said that will encourage the large number of internal combustion engine three wheelers to switch to electric. The new EV policy will also do a rethink on state subsidy to add to the FAME 2 incentives.

A high level delegation of the World Design Organisation held a meeting with the Karnataka minister for IT-BT, Science and Technology Dr. C N Ashwath Narayan in Bengaluru.The minister informed media persons later that for the scientific development of the cities like Bengaluru a discussion was held with the delegates on the best practices being followed across the globe. The Chairman of World Design Organisation, David Kusama said that they will collaborate and coordinate with the Bengaluru Development Authority, Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike and other Urban development agencies to realise the development goals of Bengaluru as an attractive destination. He informed that the Governing Council of the Design Organisation will hold a meeting with the Karnataka state Government officials in March on the possibility of selecting Bengaluru city under Protopolis plan for holistic and sustainable development of the city.

Telangana Legislative Affairs Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy, Legislature Secretary V. Narasimha Charyulu and Special Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao called on Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan. The development took place hours after the state High Court disposed of a writ petition filed by ruling BRS members seeking direction to the Governor to give approval to the Budget 2023-24 for its presentation in the upcoming Assembly session. The Legislative Affairs Minister is believed to have requested the governor to give the nod for the Budget proposals and address the joint session of the Legislature. These developments gained significance, as the High Court heard a writ petition seeking directions to the governor to approve the budget.

राजधानी में प्रदूषण के स्रोतों की वास्‍तविक समय पर पहचान के लिए दिल्‍ली के मुख्‍यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने आज सुपर-साइट और मोबाइल एयर क्वालिटी मॉनिटरिंग स्टेशन का शुभारंभ किया। इस स्‍टेशन को राउज एवेन्‍यू स्‍कूल में स्‍थापित किया गया।  इस अवसर पर श्री केजरीवाल ने कहा कि इस स्‍टेशन के माध्‍यम से हर घंटे पता चलेगा कि राजधानी में प्रदूषण कहां-कहां और कितने स्‍तर पर है। उन्‍होंने बताया कि इस आधार पर अगले तीन दिनों के मौसम के बारे में भी पता लगाया जा सकेगा।

दिल्ली विधानसभा में नेता प्रतिपक्ष रामवीर सिंह बिधूड़ी ने मुख्‍यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल पर जनता को गुमराह करने का आरोप लगाया है। उन्‍होंने कहा कि राजधानी में नागरिकों को 24 घंटे जलापूर्ति उपलब्‍ध करवाने का वायदा करके आम आदमी पार्टी सत्‍ता में आई थी, लेकिन यह वायदा अभी तक पूरा नहीं किया गया। श्री बिधूड़ी ने कहा कि मुख्‍यमंत्री जनता को पानी उपलब्‍ध न करा पाने का दोष केन्‍द्र सरकार को दे रहे हैं।

राजधानी में अगले महीने भारतीय शास्‍त्रीय संगीत महोत्‍सव का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। इसका आयोजन चार से 10 फरवरी तक भारतीय विद्या भवन के नई दिल्‍ली परिसर में किया जायेगा। भारतीय विद्या भवन के निदेशक अशोक प्रधान ने यह जानकारी देते हुये कहा कि भारतीय संस्‍कृति और कला को प्रोत्‍साहित करने के लिए इस महोत्‍सव का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। उन्‍होंने बताया कि इस महोत्‍सव के दौरान हिन्‍दुस्‍तानी शास्‍त्रीय संगीत, सितार, कब्‍बाली, लोक नृत्‍य, गजल, कथक नृत्‍य और कठपुतली को प्रदर्शित किया जायेगा। यह महोत्‍सव भारत की कला और संस्‍कृति के क्षेत्र में एक कीर्तिमान स्‍थापित करेगा।

दिल्‍ली जल बोर्ड के भूमिगत जलाशय और बूस्‍टर पंपिंग स्‍टेशन की वार्षिक साफ-सफाई के कारण 31 जनवरी और एक फरवरी को राजधानी के कई क्षेत्रों में पानी की आपूर्ति बाधित रहेगी।

जल बोर्ड द्वारा जारी एक विज्ञप्ति के अनुसार बीबी ब्‍लाक जनकपुरी बीपीएस, बेरीवाला महरोली, सेक्‍टर-22 द्वारका, सेक्‍टर-23 (गोल्‍फ लिंक अपार्टमेंट), सेक्‍टर-24 रोहिणी, सेक्‍टर-11 रोहिणी, रोहिणी, रिठाला गॉंव, रिठाला डीजेबी स्‍टाफ क्‍वार्टर, रविन्‍द्र रंगशाला, ओल्‍ड राजेन्‍द्र नगर, सर गंगाराम हॉस्पिटल, डब्‍ल्‍यूईए एरिया आदि, सुल्‍तानपुरी में कल पानी की आपूर्ति बाधित रहेगी।

दिल्‍ली जल बोर्ड ने इन क्षेत्र के निवासियों को सलाह दी है कि वे पर्याप्‍त मात्रा में अपनी आवश्‍यकता के अनुसार पानी को भरकर रख लें। आपातस्थिति में दिल्‍ली जल बोर्ड के नियंत्रण कक्ष में टेलीफोन करके पानी के टैंकर मंगवाए जा सकते हैं।

पश्चिम बंगाल सरकार ने घोषणा की है कि वह कोलकाता अंतर्राष्ट्रीय पुस्तक मेले की तर्ज पर दिल्ली में पुस्तक मेले का आयोजन करेगी। मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी ने सोमवार को साल्ट लेक स्थित सेंट्रल पार्क में 46वें कोलकाता अंतरराष्ट्रीय पुस्तक मेले का उद्घाटन किया और कहा कि राज्य के सभी जिले पुस्तक मेले में भाग ले रहे हैं. उन्होंने कहा कि किताबें लोगों का जीवन और चेतना होती हैं, लोग जब तक जीते हैं सीखते हैं और कोलकाता इंटरनेशनल बुक फेयर ने सभी के दिल को छू लिया है। उन्होंने कहा कि पुस्तक मेले में देश के विभिन्न राज्यों के अलावा विश्व के कई देश भाग ले रहे हैं। उन्होंने अग्निशमन विभाग और आपदा प्रबंधन विभागों को पुस्तक मेला परिसर में दुर्घटनाओं को रोकने के लिए और अधिक सक्रिय रूप से काम करने का आदेश दिया। इस साल के कोलकाता अंतरराष्ट्रीय पुस्तक मेले की थीम स्पेन है। मेला कल से जनता के लिए खोल दिया जाएगा और 12 फरवरी तक चलेगा।

महाराष्ट्र निदेशालय के एनसीसी दल ने गणतंत्र दिवस शिविर कार्यक्रम में प्रधान मंत्री बैनर और चैंपियन निदेशालय की ट्रॉफी जीती है। एनसीसी महाराष्ट्र की 111-मजबूत टुकड़ी ने विभिन्न एनसीसी शिविरों में आयोजित प्रतियोगिताओं में जीत हासिल कर राज्य का नाम रोशन किया।

महाराष्ट्र विधान परिषद की पांच सीटों के लिए कल मतदान शांतिपूर्ण संपन्न हुआ। नागपुर, कोंकण और औरंगाबाद के शिक्षक निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के अलावा नासिक और अमरावती के स्नातक निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के लिए मतदान हुआ था। वोटों की गिनती 2 फरवरी को होगी.

आज हम याद करेंगे मेजर सोमनाथ शर्मा को। 31 जनवरी 1923 में जिनका जन्म हुआ। कुमाऊं रेजिमेंट के चौथी बटालियन के मेजर सोमनाथ शर्मा ने 1947 के भारत-पाकिस्तान संघर्ष में अपनी वीरता की अदम्य मिसाल कायम की। मेजर सोमनाथ परमवीर चक्र पाने वाले पहले सैनिक थे। आज भी मेजर सोमनाथ को उनकी बहादुरी के लिए याद किया जाता है जिनके आखिरी शब्द अपने सैनिकों की ललकार के लिए कुछ इस तरह से थे- दुश्मन हमसे केवल 50 गज की दूरी पर है। हमारी गिनती कम है, हम भारी गोलीबारी का सामना कर रहे हैं फिर भी मैं एक इंच पीछे नहीं हटूंगा और आखिरी सैनिक तक डटा रहूंगा।

Remembering  Dattatreya Ramachandra Bendre  kannada poet born this day in1896 .Bendre was A pioneering poet of Kannada’s Navōdaya movement. आज ही हम याद करेंगे अकिलन नाम से मशहूर तमिल भाषा के साहित्याकार। रेरूंगलूर वैद्य लिंगम अखिलंदनम को। एक स्वतंत्रता सेनानी के रूप में और साहित्यकार के रूप में अखिलन ने अतुलनीय योगदान दिया और आज ही के दिन संसार से विदा लिया।

His opera satyagraha based on the early life of Mahatma Gandhi in South Africa was a global success an operatic portrayal of incidents from gandhi ji  early life the text is a set of excerpts from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad Gita, and is sung in Sanskrit.
