प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्‍द्र मोदी ने कहा है कि भारत की जी-20 की अध्‍यक्षता पूरे देश की है और यह देश की ताकत दिखाने का महत्‍वपूर्ण अवसर है। उन्‍होंने टीम वर्क के महत्‍व पर जोर दिया और जी-20 के विभिन्‍न कार्यक्रमों के आयोजन में केन्‍द्र और राज्‍यशासित प्रदेशों के सहयोग की अपेक्षा की। प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि जी-20 की अध्‍यक्षता में पारम्‍परिक बड़े महानगरों से हटकर भारत के अन्‍य हिस्‍सों को सामने लाने और देश के प्रत्‍येक हिस्‍से की विशेषता प्रदर्शित करने में मदद मिलेगी। श्री मोदी ने कल राज्‍यपालों, मुख्‍यमंत्रियों, केन्‍द्रशासित प्रदेशों के उपराज्‍यपालों के साथ जी-20 की अध्‍यक्षता के जुड़े विभिन्‍न पहलुओं पर वीडियो कॉफ्रेंस के माध्‍यम से आयोजित बैठक की अध्‍यक्षता करते हुए यह बात कही।प्रधानमंत्री ने भारत की जी-20 अध्‍यक्षता के दौरान बड़ी संख्‍या में आने वाले लोगों और विभिन्‍न आयोजनों पर अंतरराष्‍ट्रीय मीडिया का ध्‍यान खींचने का उल्‍लेख किया।

In Gujarat, the newly-elected BJP legislators will meet at the state party headquarters Shri Kamalam  in Gandhinagar today to elect the legislature party leader. Union Ministers Rajnath Singh and Arjun Munda along with senior party leader  B. S. Yediyurappa will be present in the meeting as the observers. All the newly elected party legislators have already reached Ahmedabad to attend the meeting. The BJP has bagged a record 156 seats in the 182-member Assembly, while the Congress won 17 seats. Five seats went to the Aam Aadmi Party. The swearing-in ceremony will be held at the Gandhinagar on Monday, in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and the Chief Ministers of NDA ruled states.

हिमाचल प्रदेश में कांग्रेस के नव-निर्वाचित चालीस विधायकों ने एक प्रस्‍ताव पारित किया है और राज्‍य का अगला मुख्‍यमंत्री चुनने के लिए कांग्रेस हाई-कमान को अधिकृत किया है। अखिल भारतीय कांग्रेस कमेटी के राज्‍य प्रभारी राजीव शुक्‍ला ने कहा है कि विधायक दल की कल शिमला में बैठक हुई, जिसमें अगले मुख्‍यमंत्री की नियुक्ति पर विचार-विमर्श हुआ। उन्‍होंने कहा कि कांग्रेस के सभी विधायकों ने सर्वसम्‍मति से प्रस्‍ताव पारित किया कि मुख्‍यमंत्री चुनने का फैसला हाई-कमान पर छोड़ दिया जाए। इस बारे में एक रिपोर्ट आज पार्टी हाई-कमान को सौंपी जाएगी। कांग्रेस के सभी विधायकों ने इस बैठक में हिस्‍सा लिया।

Cyclonic storm Mandous has crossed over the North Tamilnadu Coast close to Mamallapuram in the wee hours. The landfall process, which began midnight yesterday has been completed now. It is very likely to move west northwestwards and gradually weaken into a deep depression during the next two hours and into a depression by afternoon  today. The MeT Department has predicted that rainfall is likely to reduce to light and moderate rainfall at isolated places over North Interior Tamilnadu and South Andhra Pradesh. The Regional head of the MeT department said that Chennai and suburban areas witnessed rainfall upto a maximum of 16 cms due to the Cyclone.Squally wind, speed reaching 55-65 kmph gusting to 75 kmph likely to prevail along and off south Andhra Pradesh coast from this morning  and then to 30-40 kmph gusting to 50 kmph by evening today. Fishermen are advised not to venture into the sea along and off Andhra Pradesh coast. All the coastal districts and Rayalaseema district have been kept on high alert, to face the situation during cyclone. Heavy to moderate rain fall is recoded in several places in the state. Orange alert for very heavy rains and wind warnings for south Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema.

सरकार ने कहा है कि पांच सौ 35 रेलवे स्‍टेशनों को पांच सौ 72 "एक स्‍टेशन एक उत्‍पाद" बिक्रय केन्‍द्र के अंतर्गत लाया गया है । रेल मंत्री अश्‍वि‍नी वैष्‍णव ने कल राज्‍य सभा में पूछे गए प्रश्‍न के लिखित उत्‍तर में यह जानकारी दी।सरकार की ''वोकल फॉर लोकल'' योजना को प्रोत्‍साहित करने के उद्देश्‍य से एक स्‍टेशन एक उत्‍पाद योजना आरंभ की गई है। इस योजना का उद्देश्‍य स्‍थानीय उत्‍पादों के लिये बाजार और समाज के वंचित वर्गों के लिए आय के अतिरिक्‍त अवसर उपलब्‍ध कराना है। श्री वैष्‍णव ने कहा कि इस योजना के अंतर्गत रेलवे स्‍टेशनों पर एक स्‍टेशन एक उत्‍पाद बिक्रय केन्‍द्र, उत्‍पादों के प्रदर्शन, बिक्री और स्‍वदेशी तथा स्‍थानीय उत्‍पादों का समुचित प्रदर्शन करने के लिए आबंटित किए जाते हैं।

Government has said that the area sown under rabi crops has increased by 15 per cent so far this year as compared to corresponding period last year. The Agriculture Ministry said, area sown under rabi crops has increased from 457 lakh hectare to over 526 lakh hectares. The increase in area is across all crops and the maximum was witnessed in wheat. The higher coverage is due to  the distribution of large scale seed minikits, timely input supply and technology dissemination. The Ministry said, the government is taking all out efforts to support farmers by ensuring supply of quality seeds, inputs, credit availability and crop insurance. The Ministry said, the increased area coupled with higher productivity will achieve a new milestone in foodgrain production in the country. It said, the farmers income will also increase due to higher production and support for remunerative prices.

कतर में फीफा विश्‍व कप के दूसरे क्‍वार्टर फाइनल मैच में अर्जेंटीना ने नीदरलैंडस को पैनल्‍टी शूटआउट में 4-3 से हराकर सेमीफाइनल में जगह बना ली है। अर्जेंटीना के नोहेल मोलिना ने 35वें मिनट में पहला गोल किया। बाद में मैसी ने पैनल्‍टी को गोल में बदलते हुए अपनी टीम के लिए एक और गोल किया। बाद में नीदरलैडस के वाउट वाउट वेगहोर्स्‍ट ने 83वें मिनट में गोल करके अर्जेंटीना की बढ़त को कम किया । खेल के अंतिम मिनट में वेगहोर्स्‍ट ने एक और गोल करके स्‍कोर बराबर कर दिया। अतिरिक्‍त समय में कोई भी टीम गोल नहीं कर पाई और निर्णय पैनल्‍टी  शूटआउट से हुआ। इससे पहले, कल रात पहले क्‍वार्टर फाइनल मैच में क्रोएशिया ने पांच बार की विश्‍व विजेता ब्राजील को पैनल्‍टी शूटआउट में 4-2 से हरा दिया। निर्धारित 90 मिनट में मैच बिना गोल के बराबरी पर रहा । बाद में अतिरिक्‍त समय में दोनो टीमों ने एक एक गोल किया ।आज क्‍वार्टर फाइनल में रात साढ़े आठ बजे मोरक्‍को का मुकाबला पुर्तगाल से होगा। एक अन्‍य मैच में देर रात इंग्‍लैंड और फ्रांस आमने सामने होंगे।

Bangladesh and India will play their third ODI at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chittagong today. The match will begin at 11:30 AM. India will try to save themselves from a clean sweep as Bangladesh have already clinched the three-match series by 2-0. The ODI series will be followed by two Test matches. The first test will start on 14th December at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong, while the second test will be held on 22nd December at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka.

The Comptroller and Auditor General of India In accordance with Article 151 (2) has forwarded the audit reports of the Government of Tamilnadu to the Governor which will  be laid on the table of the State legislature. The Performance Audit report of the Comptroller and auditor general of India on functioning of  the State Government Secondary and Higher Secondary  educational institutions, for the year ended 31st March last year was handed over to the Governor of Tamilnadu for laying before the State Legislature.

Tamilnadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin said that the State will achieve carbon net zero ahead of the 2070 target. Unveiling the Tamilnadu Climate Change Mission in Chennai, he said that the Government would create a seperate power grid, a green power policy and a single window system under the finance department for all climate change mitigation projects. The State is to set up ten smart villages and 25 green schools and achieve the blue flag beaches. A memorandum of Understanding has been signed with the World Resources Institute , Anna University and National Centre for sustainable coastal management.

Karnataka Health Minister Dr. K Sudhakar expressed concern over increase in the neurological and mental illness cases in the past 10 years. Speaking at the Brain Health Initiatives programme in NIMHANS in Bengaluru, the minister said that fluctuation in mental health of a person is directly related to his physical health that may have societal consequences. Quoting the statistics the Health minister said that 7 to 8 percent of deaths are due to mental health and brain ailments, strokes and other neurological issues. Saying that T-MANAS Tele counselling campaign is launched by Government of India through NIMHANS, Dr Sudhakar said that this is based on the T-MANAS platform conceptualised and operated by Karnataka. He informed that the Primary Health Centre Doctors are imparted three months training in counselling and treatment of mental illness by NIMHANS. In the coming days ANMs, CHOs and ASHA workers too will be trained to offer counselling to the family members in their locality.

Telangana is fully prepared to host six G-20 meetings in the coming days. State Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan has apprised Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a video conference. The governor informed that all 14 state universities are going to conduct competitions on the G-20 vision to create awareness among the students and to take ideas from the fertile minds of the students. She informed that competitions for creating the G-20 logo using locally available materials will also be held to promote local talent in using locally available materials. She further informed that Telangana has more tribal population, tribal medicine, tribal products, and tribal cultural programmes and they will be showcased. Besides, Telangana's advancements in the agricultural, IT, and pharmaceutical sectors will be showcased during the ensuing G-20 meetings.

भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्‍थान- आई आई टी दिल्‍ली आज उद्योग दिवस मनाएगा। दिनभर चलने वाले इस आयोजन के चौथे संस्‍करण में आई आई टी दिल्‍ली ऐसी तकनीकों का प्रदर्शन करेगा जिसे विकसित करने के लिए संस्‍थान काम कर रहा है और जिसे उद्योग तथा समाज दोनों को लाभ पहुंचेगा। कार्यक्रम में 15 से अधिक बडे कॉरपोरेट और व्‍यावसायिक घराने शामिल होंगे।

महाराष्‍ट्र के मुख्‍यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्‍द्र मोदी के नागपुर दौरे से पहले तैयारियों की समीक्षा बैठक की। प्रधानमंत्री कल नागपुर में सम‍ृद्धि राजमार्ग सहित कई परियोजनाओं का उद्धाटन करेंगे। समीक्षा बैठक के दौरान कल श्री शिंदे ने दो परियोजनाओं को मंजूर करने के लिए प्रधानमंत्री के प्रति आभार व्‍यक्‍त किया। ये परियोजनाएं हैं- नाग नदी का पुनरुद्धार और नागपुर मैट्रो का दूसरा चरण। समृद्धि राजमार्ग के बारे में श्री शिंदे ने कहा कि भाारत में यह सबसे बड़ी ग्रीनफील्‍ड परियोजना महत्‍वपूर्ण साबित होगी और इससे विदर्भ तथा मराठावाड़ा क्षेत्र के औद्योगिक विकास में मदद मिलेगी।

कोलकाता में राज्य सरकार प्रदूषण को नियंत्रित करने और आम आदमी को ईंधन की बढ़ती कीमतों से बचाने के लिए इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों के उपयोग को बढ़ाने पर जोर दे रही है। राज्य के परिवहन मंत्री स्नेहाशीष चक्रवर्ती ने आश्वासन दिया है कि कोलकाता शहर की सड़कों पर अधिकांश ई-वाहनों का लक्ष्य 2030 तक पूरा कर लिया जाएगा। कल कोलकाता में बिस्वा बांग्ला मेला परिसर में इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों की तीन दिवसीय प्रदर्शनी का उद्घाटन करते हुए, उन्होंने कहा कि इससे एक तरफ प्रदूषण से पर्यावरण का बचाव होगा और दूसरी तरफ तेल पर होने वाला खर्च कम होगा। इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों की रखरखाव लागत भी काफी कम होगी।

मुम्‍बई में आंशिक रूप से बादल छाए रहने के आसार हैं। तापमान 20 और 33 डिग्री सेल्सियस के आसपास रहने का अनुमान है।

कोलकाता में आंशिक रूप से बादल छाए रह सकते हैं। तापमान 16 और 27 डिग्री सेल्सियस के बीच रह सकता है।

Chennai is expected to have generally cloudy sky with heavy rain. The minimum temperature was 22 degree celcius and maximum will be around 26 degrees.

Hyderabad will have generally cloudy sky with light rain. The minimum temperature was 17 degree celsius and maximum will be around 28 degrees.  

Bengaluru will have generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers. The temperature will vary between 19 and 22 degree celcius.

सबसे पहले हम याद कर रहे है यदुनाथ अथवा जदुनाथ सरकार को  वह एक प्रसिद्ध इतिहासकार के रूप में जाना जाता है। ये ज़मींदार परिवार से सम्बन्ध रखते थे। इन्होंने 1892 में अंग्रेज़ी साहित्य में एम.ए. की परीक्षा पास की और जीवन का अधिकांश समय ग्रन्थों के अध्ययन और लेखन में व्यतीत किया। इतिहास और अंग्रेज़ी के प्रोफ़ेसर के रूप में भी इन्होंने अपनी विशिष्ट सेवाएँ प्रदान की थीं। यदुनाथ सरकार ने मुग़ल और मराठा इतिहास पर कई ग्रन्थ लिखे, इन ग्रन्थों की प्रमाणिक सामग्री ने इन्हें ख्यातिप्राप्त इतिहासकार बना दिया।

चक्रवर्ती राजगोपालाचारी की आज जन्मतिथि है वह भारतीय राजनीति के शिखर पुरुष थे, जो राजाजी के नाम से भी जाने जाते हैं। राजगोपालाचारी वकील, लेखक, राजनीतिज्ञ और दार्शनिक थे। वे स्वतन्त्र भारत के द्वितीय गवर्नर-जनरल और प्रथम भारतीय गवर्नर-जनरल थे। अपने अद्भुत और प्रभावशाली व्यक्तित्व के कारण 'राजाजी' के नाम से प्रसिद्ध महान् स्वतंत्रता सेनानी, समाज सुधारक, गांधीवादी राजनीतिज्ञ चक्रवर्ती राजगोपालाचारी को आधुनिक भारत के इतिहास का 'चाणक्य' माना जाता है। राजगोपालाचारी जी की बुद्धि चातुर्य और दृढ़ इच्छाशक्ति के कारण जवाहरलाल नेहरू, महात्मा गांधी और सरदार पटेल जैसे अनेक उच्चकोटि के कांग्रेसी नेता भी उनकी प्रशंसा करते नहीं अघाते थे।

आज जन्मदिवस है मोहम्मद अली जौहर की वह  भारत के प्रसिद्ध स्वतंत्रता सेनानी, पत्रकार और शिक्षाविद थे। इन्होंने सन 1911 में 'कामरेड' नामक साप्ताहिक समाचार पत्र निकाला था। तत्कालीन अंग्रेज़ सरकार द्वारा 1914 में इस पत्र पर प्रतिबन्ध लगा दिया गया था तथा मोहम्मद अली को चार साल की सज़ा दी गई। मोहम्मद अली ने 'खिलाफत आन्दोलन' में भी भाग लिया और अलीगढ़ में 'जामिया मिलिया विश्वविद्यालय' की स्थापना की, जो बाद में दिल्ली लाया गया। ये रायपुर रियासत के शिक्षाधिकारी भी बनाये गए थे।

आज हम याद कर रहे है चौधरी दिगम्बर सिंह  की वह  स्वतंत्रता सेनानी थे और चार बार लोकसभा सांसद रहे। इन्होंने सहकारिता के क्षेत्र में उल्लेखनीय योगदान दिया। किसानों की 'भूमि अधिग्रहण अधिनियम' में संशोधन का सबसे पहला प्रयास इनका ही था। किसानों की बात संसद में कहने के लिए दिगम्बर सिंह प्रसिद्ध थे। राजा महेन्द्र प्रताप, मनीराम बागड़ी और राजा मानसिंह जैसे नेताओं को इन्होंने लोकसभा चुनावों में हराया था। लगभग 25 वर्ष ये 'मथुरा ज़िला सहकारी बैंक' के अध्यक्ष रहे। मथुरा में 'आकाशवाणी' की स्थापना करवाने का श्रेय इन्हें ही जाता है।

आज ही हम याद कर रहे है  अशोक कुमार  को , हिन्दी फ़िल्मों के प्रसिद्ध अभिनेता, निर्माता-निर्देशक थे। अशोक कुमार को सन् 1999 में भारत सरकार ने कला के क्षेत्र में पद्म भूषण से सम्मानित किया था। हिन्दी सिनेमा के युगपुरुष कुमुद कुमार गांगुली उर्फ अशोक कुमार को ऐसे अभिनेता के रूप में याद किया जाता है जिन्होंने उस समय प्रचलित थियेटर शैली को समाप्त कर अभिनय को स्वाभाविकता प्रदान की और छह दशकों तक अपने बेहतरीन काम से सिनेप्रेमियों को रोमांचित किया। अशोक कुमार का असली नाम कुमुद गांगुली है। इन्हें दादा मुनी के नाम से जाना जाता है। अशोक कुमार ने 300 से ज़्यादा फ़िल्मों में अभिनय किया।

आज रति अग्निहोत्री का भी  जन्मदिवस है .....रति  भारतीय फिल्म अभिनेत्री और टीवी कलाकार हैं।  उन्होंने दस भाषायोँ के तकरीबन 150 फिल्मों में काम किया है।रति का जन्म 10 नवम्बर 1960 को मुंबई में हुआ था।  रति के करियर की शुरुआत स्कूल प्ले के दौरान हुई, क्योँकि तभी निर्देशक भारतीराजा की नज़र रति पर पड़ी थी। रति का अभिनय को देखते ही उन्होंने रति को अपनी फिल्म के लिए चुन लिया। उस समय रति महज़ सोलह साल की थी, जब उन्हें उनकी पहली फिल्म बतौर हीरोइन ऑफर हुई थी। वह अपनी पहली वठिया पुरगुल (1979)फिल्म को लेकर काफी उत्साहित थीं।   इस फिल्म में उनके अभिनय को लोगों ने बेहद साराहा था।  इस फिल्म के रति महज 3 साल में तेलगु की 32 फिल्मों में काम किया था।
