केन्‍द्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह जम्‍मू-कश्‍मीर के तीन दिन के दौरे पर कल शाम जम्‍मू पहुंचे। जम्‍मू-कश्‍मीर के उपराज्‍यपाल मनोज सिन्‍हा, केन्‍द्रीय मंत्री जितेन्‍द्र सिंह और भारतीय जनता पार्टी के वरिष्‍ठ नेताओं सहित अन्‍य लोगों ने श्री शाह का हवाई अड्डे पर स्‍वागत किया। गृह मंत्री राजौरी और बारामूला में दो बड़ी रैलियों को सम्‍बोधित करेंगे। वे श्रीनगर में उच्‍चस्‍तरीय सुरक्षा बैठक की अध्‍यक्षता कर सकते हैं। जम्‍मू में राजभवन पहुंचने के बाद गृह मंत्री ने सिविल सोसाइटी समूहों, बड़े व्‍यवसायियों और कई संगठनों के प्रतिनिधिमंडलों से मुलाकात की। श्री शाह आज सुबह रियासी जिले में त्रिकूट पर्वत पर स्थित श्रीमाता वैष्‍णो देवी मंदिर में पूजा-अर्चना करेंगे। इसके बाद वे राजौरी जाएंगे, जहां वे एक  रैली को सम्‍बोधित करेंगे।

श्री शाह आज दोपहर बाद जम्‍मू के कन्‍वेंशन सेंटर में भारतीय जनता पार्टी के नेताओं के चुनिन्‍दा समूह से मुलाकात करेंगे और कई विकास परियोजनाओं का शुभारम्‍भ करेंगे। गृह मंत्री आज शाम श्रीनगर रवाना होने से पहले कुछ अन्‍य परियोजनाओं की आधारशिला भी रखेंगे। गृह मंत्री कल बारामूला स्‍पोर्ट्स स्‍टेडियम में एक जनसभा को सम्‍बोधित करेंगे।

President Draupadi Murmu will lay the foundation stone for various projects related to education and tribal development at Gujarat University in Ahmedabad today. The President, who is on a two-day visit to Gujarat, will also launch 'herStart', a start-up platform of Gujarat University for women entrepreneurs in Ahmedabad. HerSTART is one of flagship programmes of Gujarat University Startup and Entrepreneurship Council’s (GUSEC) which seeks to support women entrepreneurs during their entrepreneurial endeavours.

Yesterday, President inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for various projects worth 1,330 crore rupees at the GMERS campus in Gandhinagar. Addressing the gathering, Mrs Murmu said, these projects will contribute to the people’s welfare. The President lauded Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat’s efforts toward spreading awareness about natural farming among farmers. The President said, farmers of Gujarat have come up with several successful experiments in the field of agriculture development.

सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्रालय ने एक बार फिर परामर्श जारी करके मीडिया से ऑनलाइन सट्टेबाजी मंचों के विज्ञापन प्रकाशित करने से बचने को कहा है। परामर्श में कहा गया है कि विदेशों में स्थित कुछ ऑनलाइन सट्टेबाजी मंचों ने टीवी चैनलों पर अपने विज्ञापन के लिए विकल्‍प के रूप में समाचार वेबसाइटों का उपयोग करना शुरू कर दिया है। मंत्रालय ने निजी उपग्रह टेलीविजन चैनलों और ऑनलाइन सामग्री प्रसारित करने वाले ओटीटी मंचों को इस सिलसिले में पत्र लिखा है। परामर्श में कहा गया है कि देश के अधिकतर भागों में जुआ खेलना प्रतिबंधित है और यह विशेष रूप से युवाओं और बच्चों सहित सभी ग्राहकों के लिए वित्तीय और सामाजिक-आर्थिक खतरे पैदा कर रहा है। मंत्रालय ने कहा है कि सट्टेबाजी के मंचों से संबंधित विज्ञापन और उन्हें बढ़ावा देने वाली सामग्री को अभी भी कई समाचार मंचों और ओटीटी पर देखा जा रहा है। इससे पहले जून में मंत्रालय ने परामर्श जारी करके मीडिया को ऑनलाइन सट्टेबाजी के विज्ञापनों से परहेज करने को कहा था।

Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested a Russian national for allegedly hacking the iLeon software - the platform on which the JEE (Mains) 2021 examination was conducted. Mikhail Shargin was held in course of the ongoing investigation into a case related to allegations of irregularities being committed in the JEE (Mains) Exams 2021. He hacked the software, CBI said. Shargin was detained by the Bureau of Immigration at the IGI Airport in Delhi after arriving from Almaty, Kazakhstan. During investigation, it had come to light that some foreign nationals were involved in compromising many online examinations including the JEE (Mains), and colluding with other accused in the case.

भारतीय रेल ने 500 मेल एक्सप्रेस रेलगाडि़यों को सुपरफास्ट गाडि़यों में बदल दिया है। इसके अलावा, 65 जोडी रेलगाडियों को सुपरफास्‍ट श्रेणी में जोड दिया गया है। रेल मंत्रालय ने अपनी आधिकारिक वेबसाइट पर "रेलगाडियां एक नज़र में" के नाम से जारी अपनी नयी समय सारणी में इसकी जानकारी दी है। यह समय सारणी पिछले शनिवार से लागू हो गयी है।

मंत्रालय ने बताया कि वर्ष 2022-23 में 84 प्रतिशत मेल एक्सप्रेस रेलगाडियां समय पर चल रही हैं जो कि 2019-20 की तुलना में नौ प्रतिशत अधिक है।

State Bank of India has warned against freebies, saying they have large fiscal costs and cause inefficiencies by distorting prices and misallocating resources. Citing an example of just three states, SBI's chief economic adviser Soumya Kanti Ghosh said annual pension liabilities of Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Rajasthan are estimated at 3 lakh crore rupees. In its economic report, SBI suggested that the Supreme Court-led panel cap such welfare schemes at 1 percent  of the state's GDP or 1 perent of its own tax collection. The report said, in relation to these states' own tax revenues, pension liabilities of Jharkhand are 217 percent, Rajasthan 190 percent and Chhattisgarh 207 percent. The SBI report also flagged the off-budget borrowings of states, which are loans raised by state-owned entities and guaranteed by the states, to have reached around 4.5 percent of GDP in 2022.

In Cricket, the third and final T20 International between India and South Africa will be played today at Holkar Stadium in Indore. The match will start at 7 PM.

India defeated South Africa by 16 runs in a high scoring game in their second T20 International at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati, to gain an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series on Sunday.

तेज गेंदबाज जसप्रीत बुमराह पीठ की चोट के कारण 16 अक्‍तूबर से शुरू हो रहे आई.सी.सी. ट्वेन्टी-ट्वेन्टी विश्व कप 2022 से बाहर हो गए हैं। भारतीय क्रिकेट कंट्रोल बोर्ड-BCCI ने पुष्टि की है कि बोर्ड की मेडिकल टीम की गहन जांच और विशेषज्ञों के परामर्श के बाद बुमराह को टीम में शामिल नही किया गया है।

दुनिया के बेहतरीन गेंदबाजों में शामिल 28 वर्षीय बुमराह पीठ की चोट के कारण पहले ही दक्षिण अफ्रीका के साथ भारत की तीन ट्वेन्टी-ट्वेन्टी मैचों की श्रृंखला से बाहर हो गए थे।

In Chennai 40 general managers from various hotels will set off on a bike ride on the 9th of this month to celebrate the revival of the tourism industry and showcase all that the City and Tamilnadu has to offer. The third edition of the event, the event will begin as Rediscover Chennai and Rediscover life' and is expected to give a boost to the hospitality industry and publicise the fact that Chennai is safe to travel and the hotels are waiting to take extra care.

The Indian Institute of Technology Madras is launching the Subra Suresh Distinguished lecture series that will feature lectures by Nobel laureates and globally renowned speakers from various walks of life. They will also deliver a science talk which will be open to all members of the public. The inaugural address will be delivered by Prof. Didier Queloz who won the 2019 Nobel Prize in Physics on October 20, 2022.

Karnataka Social Welfare and Backward Classes Welfare minister Kota Srinivasa Poojary has announced that 5000 followers of Dr. Bheemrao Ambedkar will be taken to Nagpur Deeksha bhoomi where the architect of Indian constitution Dr. Ambedkar accepted Buddhism. The minister explained that like other believers go to different places of worship, it is the practice of many followers of Dr. Ambedkar to offer their obeisance and every year in October they visit Nagpur Deeksha bhoomi where Dr.Ambedkar converted to Buddhism.The Social Welfare department arranges buses for such followers every year.

Bengaluru Urban district Deputy Commissioner K.Srinivas has issued instructions to speed up distribution of Ayushman Arogya Karnataka cards to the beneficiaries for treatment upto five lakh rupees. He informed that there are 16,78,485 population in five Taluks coming under Bengaluru Urban district and 2.85 lakh Arogya cards have been distributed till date. Special focus is given to distribute cards to those working in the unorganised sector.

In Telangana, 9-day long flower festival culminated at Saddula Bathukamma (सद्दुला बतूकम्मा) with pomp and grandeur in the state and elsewhere in the world yesterday. Thousands of women congregated at Necklace Road on the banks of Hussain Sagar in Hyderabad to bid adieu to goddess Gauri, whom they prayed with different types of flowers for the past 9 days. State Ministers joined the official celebrations while women in their colourful attire and jewellery offered special prayers.  

Women and girls played Bathukamma around systematically arranged flowers and singing songs. After immersing the bathukammas in nearby water bodies, women shared traditional delicacies made by different flours with each other, as they call the delicacies as Saddulu (सद्दुलू ) symbolising Saddula Bathukamma. Several ministers took part in Saddula Bathukamma in different districts.

दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने सर्दियों में प्रदूषण को कम रखने के लिए कल 15 बिन्दुओं का एक्शन प्लान जारी किया।

पत्रकारों से बातचीत में उन्होंने कहा है कि सर्दियां दिल्ली में आने वाली है। ऐसे में दिल्ली के अंदर प्रदूषण काफी बढ़ जाता है, जिसको देखते हुए दिल्ली सरकार के द्वारा सभी तैयारियां कर ली गई हैं।

दिल्ली सरकार अपने स्कूलों के शिक्षकों को विश्‍वस्‍तरीय अनुभव देने की श्रृंखला में, 30 विद्यालय प्रमुखों और शिक्षा अधिकारियों के दल को आठ दिन के विशेष नेतृत्‍व प्रशिक्षण के लिए कैंब्रिज विश्‍वविद्यालय भेज रही है। इस प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्‍य शिक्षकों को शिक्षण में डिजिटल तकनीकी का इस्‍तेमाल करने और सर्वोत्‍तम बाल शिक्षा विज्ञान की जानकारी प्रदान करना है। शिक्षकों के इस दल ने कल दिल्‍ली के शिक्षा मंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया से मुलाकात की। इस मौके पर श्री सिसोदिया ने कहा कि सरकारी विद्यालय के हर बच्‍चे के लिए विश्‍वस्‍तरीय शिक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए दिल्‍ली सरकार शिक्षकों को भी विश्‍वस्‍तरीय अनुभव देने पर कार्य कर रही है। उन्‍होंने कहा कि इस प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम से शिक्षकों को अपनी शिक्षण क्षमताओं को बढाने में मदद मिलेगी, जो बच्‍चों के सर्वांगीण विकास में सहायक सिद्ध होगी।

दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय के स्कूल ऑफ ओपन लर्निंग-एसओएल ने अपने नए सत्र वर्ष 2022-23 में स्नातक और स्नातकोत्तर के लिए छह नए पाठ्यक्रमों को शुरू किया है, जो रोजगार-उन्मुख और व्यावसायिक शिक्षा पर आधारित होंगे।

एसओएल द्वारा इस सत्र में शुरू किये गए स्नातक पाठ्यक्रमों में बैचलर ऑफ बिजनेस एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन, फाइनेंशियल इन्वेस्टमेंट एनालिसिस, बैचलर ऑफ मैनेजमेंट स्टडीज, बैचलर ऑफ लाइब्रेरी एंड इन्फॉर्मेशन साइन्स और इकोनॉमिक्स ऑनर्स शामिल हैं। वहीं, स्नातकोत्तर पाठ्यक्रमों में मास्टर ऑफ बिजनेस एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन और मास्टर ऑफ लाइब्रेरी एंड इन्फॉर्मेशन साइन्स को शुरू किया गया है। दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय के कैंपस ऑफ ओपन लर्निंग की निदेशक प्रोफेसर पायल मागो ने बताया कि पंजीकरण और प्रवेश प्रक्रिया एसओएल की वेबसाइट WWW.SOL.DU.AC.IN पर पूरी तरह से ऑनलाइन होगी।

अंधेरी पूर्व विधानसभा क्षेत्र के लिए उपचुनाव 3 नवंबर कराया जायेगा। निर्वाचन आयोग की अधिसूचना के अनुसार, चुनाव अधिसूचना 7 अक्टूबर को जारी की जायेगी। नामांकन दाखिल करने की अंतिम तिथि 14 अक्टूबर है। 15 को नामांकन पत्रों की जांच की जाएगी। नामांकन वापस लेने की अंतिम तिथि 17 अक्टूबर है। वोटों की गिनती 6 नवंबर को होगी. निर्वाचन आयोग ने कहा है कि पार्टियों के लिए यह अनिवार्य होगा कि वे कम से कम तीन बार अखबारों और टेलीविजन चैनलों के माध्यम से अपने उम्मीदवारों के आपराधिक इतिहास, को प्रकाशित करें। इस साल मई में शिवसेना विधायक के निधन के कारण अंधेरी पूर्व उपचुनाव काराया जा रहा है।

और अब हम लेते हैं मौसम का हाल राष्ट्रीय राजधानी दिल्ली में आंशिक रूप से बादल छाए रहने का अनुमान है। तापमान 22 से 35 डिग्री सेल्सियस के बीच रहने की संभावना है।

मुम्बई में हल्की बारिश या बूंदा बांदी के साथ आम तौर पर बादल छाए रहेंगे। न्यूनतम तापमान 24 और अधिकतम तापमान 33 डिग्री सेल्सियस के बीच रहने का अनुमान है।

कोलकाता में भी सामान्यतः बादल छाए रहने और बूंदाबांदी की सम्‍भावना है। न्‍यूनतम तापमान 26 और अधिकतम 30 डिग्री सेल्सियस रह सकता है।

Chennai is expected to have generally cloudy sky with light rain. The minimum temperature was 26 degree celcius and maximum will be around 33 degrees.

In the South, Hyderabad will have partly cloudy sky. The minimum temperature was 22 degree celsius and  maximum will be around 32 degrees.

Bengaluru  will have a generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers. The  temperature will vary between 20 and 27 degree celcius.

रामचन्द्र शुक्ल का जन्म बस्ती ज़िला, उत्तर प्रदेश में हुआ था। वे बीसवीं शताब्दी के हिन्दी के प्रमुख साहित्यकार थे। उनकी द्वारा लिखी गई पुस्तकों में हिन्दी साहित्य का इतिहास प्रमुख है, जिसका हिन्दी पाठ्यक्रम को निर्धारित करने मे प्रमुख स्थान है।

शुक्ल जी का साहित्यिक व्यक्तित्व विविध पक्षों वाला है। उन्होंने अपने साहित्यिक जीवन के प्रारम्भ में लेख लिखे हैं और फिर गम्भीर निबन्धों का प्रणयन किया है, जो चिन्तामणि (दो भाग) में संकलित है।

Today we remembering Sir Norman Joseph Wisdom. He was an English actor, comedian, musician and singer best known for a series of comedy films.

आज ही के दिन जन्म हुआ था संध्या मुखर्जी का l  वे भारतीय गायिका थीं जो मुख्य रूप से बंगाली गायन में रुचि रखती थीं। 'बंगा विभूषण' से सम्मानित और सर्वश्रेष्ठ महिला पार्श्वगायिका के लिए उन्होंने राष्ट्रीय फिल्म पुरस्कार प्राप्त किया था। संध्या मुखर्जी ने अधिकतर बंगाली गाने ही गाए हैं। उन्होंने बतौर हिंदी गायिका 17 गाने गाए।

We are also remembering today Robert Edwards on his birth anniversary an American artist, musician.

आज ही के दिन जन्म हुआ था  शैलेंद्र सिंह बॉबी फेम शैलेंद्र सिंह का। 4 अक्टूबर 1952 को मुंबई में जन्मे शैलेंद्र के पिता वी शांता राम के असिस्टेंट थे। उन्होंने कुछ फिल्मों में शौकिया अभिनय भी किया। जबकि शैलेंद्र की मां निर्मला सिंह शास्त्रीय गायिका थीं।

जब बॉबी के गाने रिलीज हुऊ तो देशभर में तहलका मच गया। शैलेंद्र सिंह की युवा और ताजगी से भरी आवाज खासियत यह थी कि इससे पहले किसी गायक की ऐसी आवाज नहीं सुनी गयी थी।

और अब घड़ी की सुईंया ये इशारा कर रही हैं कि अपने श्रोताओं से अनुमति लेने का समय हो गया है। फिर एक नयी मुलाक़ात के वायदे के साथ अनुमति दीजिए विशाल और सरबजीत कौर को कार्यक्रम आज सवेरे यहीं संपन्न करने की।
