आज वर्ल्ड रोज डे यानि की विश्व गुलाब दिवस है। वैसे फरवरी के महीने में कपल्स के बीच प्रसिद्ध 'रोज डे' के अलावा 22 सितंबर को 'वर्ल्ड रोज डे' (World Rose Day) मनाया जाता है। इस दिन कैंसर पीड़ितों को गुलाब का फूल दिया जाता है, ताकि उनका मनोबल बढ़े और फिर से जीने की आशा मिले।

तो हमारे श्रोता ये ज़रूर जानना चाहेंगे की इस दिवस की शुरुआत कब हुई थी? तो हम उनको बता दें की कनाडा की रहने वाली 12 साल की मेलिंडा रोज की याद में World Rose Day मनाया जाता है। इस बच्ची को 1994 में महज 12 साल की उम्र में कैंसर जैसी गंभीर बीमारी हो गई थी। वह जिंदगी और मौत के बीच जूझ रही थी। डॉक्टर्स ने भी उम्मीद छोड़ दी थी और घरवालों से कह दिया था कि वो सिर्फ 2 हफ्ते ही जी पाएगी, लेकिन इस नन्ही-सी बच्ची ने हार नहीं मानी और जिंदगी की जंग जीत ली। इसके बाद मेलिंडा करीब 6 महीने तक जिंदा रही, लेकिन सितंबर के महीने में उसने दुनिया को अलविदा कह दिया। इस बच्ची ने जिस तरह से 6 महीने तक अपनी बीमारी से लड़ाई की ये कैंसर पीड़ितों के लिए मिसाल बन गया। इसीलिए आज के दिन विशेष रूप से कैंसर पीड़ित मरीजों को गुलाब का फूल दिया जाता है, ताकि उनके अंदर इस गंभीर बीमारी से लड़ने का जज्बा आ सके। वो पूरे हौसले से जिंदगी की जंग जीत सकें।

मंत्रिमंडल ने कल उच्च दक्षता वाले सौर पीवी मॉड्यूल पर उत्पादन से जुड़ी प्रोत्साहन योजना को स्‍वीकृति दे दी। इस मॉड्यूल में गीगा वाट पैमाने की विनिर्माण क्षमता प्राप्त करने के लिए यह स्‍वीकृति दी गई है। सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्री अनुराग सिंह ठाकुर ने कहा कि इसका उद्देश्य उच्च दक्षता वाले सौर पीवी मॉड्यूल के विनिर्माण के लिए पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र तैयार करना है। इस फैसले से नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा क्षेत्र में आयात पर निर्भरता कम होगी। साथ ही आत्‍मनिर्भर भारत अभियान को सुदृढता और रोजगार सर्जन में सहायता मिलेगी। श्री ठाकुर ने कहा कि पूर्ण और आंशिक रूप से एकीकृत सोलर पीवी मॉड्यूल की प्रतिवर्ष लगभग 65 गीगा वाट विनिर्माण क्षमता स्थापित की जाएगी। मंत्रिमंडल ने सेमीकंडक्‍टर और डिस्‍प्‍ले विनिर्माण व्‍यवस्‍था के विकास कार्यक्रम में संशोधन को भी स्‍वीकृति दी।

The Cabinet also approved modifications in the Programme for Development of Semiconductors and Display Manufacturing Ecosystem. Mr Thakur said, there will be 50 per cent incentives for semiconductor fabs across technology nodes as well as for compound semiconductors, packaging and other semiconductor facilities.

The Cabinet approved the National Logistics Policy. The policy was unveiled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently to bring down logistics costs, ensure seamless movement of goods in the country and improve efficiency and global positioning. The Policy sets targets to improve the country's Logistics Performance Index ranking and bring India into the top 25 countries by 2030.

विदेशमंत्री एस जयशंकर ने संयुक्‍त राष्‍ट्र महासभा सत्र के बीच तुर्की के विदेशमंत्री मेवलुत चावुशोलु से मुलाकात की। डॉक्‍टर जयशंकर ने कहा कि मुलाकात के दौरान यूक्रेन संघर्ष, खाद्य सुरक्षा, जी-20, वैश्विक व्यवस्था, नैम और साइप्रस जैसे मुद्दों पर व्यापक विचार विमर्श हुआ। विदेश मंत्री ने कल न्यूयॉर्क में उच्च स्तरीय क्षेत्रीय समूह की मेजबानी करने के लिए फ्रांस के राष्ट्रपति इमैनुएल मैक्रों को धन्यवाद दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि यूक्रेन संघर्ष और विश्‍व के दक्षिणी देशों पर इसके प्रभावों पर मुख्‍य रूप से चर्चा हुई। डॉक्‍टर जयशंकर ने कहा कि चुनौतीपूर्ण समय में जी-20 के महत्व का भी जिक्र हुआ।

Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Director General Kuldeep Singh has said that Budha Pahad in Jharkhand, which had been a stronghold of Maoists for three decades, has now been cleared of them successfully and permanent bases of security forces have been established. Addressing media in New Delhi on successes achieved by the security forces against Left Wing Extremism (LWE), Mr Singh said, since April this year, they carried out three operations, namely, Operation Octopus, Operation Double Bull and Operation Thunderstorm at Budha Pahad to establish the camps of security forces and bring the area in control. He said, Security forces have won a decisive victory in the ongoing battle against Left Wing Extremism across the country. Maoists were also successfully ousted from the extremely inaccessible areas of Chakrabandha and Bhimabandh in Bihar and permanent security forces camps have been set up. All these areas were strongholds of top Maoists and a huge quantity of arms, ammunition, foreign grenades, Aero Bombs and IEDs were recovered by the security forces at these places.

In his media briefing CRPF DG Kuldeep Singh also said, 14 Maoists were neutralised due to the various operations this year, of these seven were in Chhattisgarh, four in Jharkhand and three in Madhya Pradesh.

गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने केंद्रीय रिजर्व पुलिस बल और राज्‍य सुरक्षा बलों को इस सफलता के लिए ट्वीट संदेश में बधाई दी। उन्‍होंने कहा कि सरकार, वामपंथी उग्रवाद और आतंकवाद को कतई बर्दाश्‍त न करने की नीति जारी रखेगी तथा इस लड़ाई को और तेज किया जाएगा।

प्रधानमंत्री शुक्रवार को गुजरात में राज्‍यों के पर्यावरण मंत्रियों के राष्‍ट्रीय सम्‍मेलन का वर्चुअल माध्‍यम से शुभारंभ करेंगे। विभिन्‍न विषयों पर श्रेष्‍ठ नीतियां तैयार करने में केंद्र और राज्‍य सरकारों के बीच तालमेल बढाने के लिए सहकारी संघवाद की भावना को आगे बढाने के उद्देश्‍य से दो दिन का ये सम्‍मेलन आयोजित किया जा रहा है। इसमें जलवायु परिवर्तन, समेकित हरित अनुमोदन के लिए एक ही जगह सभी सुविधाएं उपलब्‍ध कराने -परिवेश, वन प्रबंधन, प्रदूषण नियंत्रण, वन्‍यजीव प्रबंधन और प्‍लास्टिक तथा कचरा प्रबंधन जैसे विषयों पर छह सत्र होंगे।

The Officers Training Academy Chennai celebrated the induction of women cadets for training. It was in 1992,September 21st that women cadets entered into training as officers in the Academy. The first batch passed out in 1993. Since then the Academy has trained two thousand 835 women officers of the Indian Army. In order to commemorate the day, the accomodation for women cadets at OTA was named as Capt Lakshmi Block . The grandson of Capt Lakshmi Sehgal, Mr.Shaad Ali Sehgal , a famous Bollywood director inaugurated the block. Lt.Gen. Sanjeev Chauhan , the Commandant of OTA unveiled the life size bust of Capt Lakhsmi yesterday.

Tamilnadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin has appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to initiate efforts for the immediate rescue and safe repatriation of Indians held in illegal captivity in Myanmar. In a letter to the Prime Minister,Stalin said that the State Government had received information that nearly 300 Indians including around 50 people from the State are stuck in Myanmar facing severe hardships. He pointed out that initially they were to work in Thailand for IT related jobs but were later forcibly taken to Myanmar for carrying out illegal jobs online. The Chief Minister said that the reports are being received that they are physically assaulted by their employers if they refuse.

South African tourism has started roadshows in cities like  Chennai in a bid to encourage travellers to try out newer destinations and to combine trips with destinations in neighbouring countries. Neliswa Nkani , hub head of South African Tourism, said Kwa Zulu -Natal, Limpopo which is popular for bush culture, Eastern Cape and  Free State areas are being promoted as newer destinations because people who visit have been asking us to suggest new experiences going beyond the popular cities of Cape Town, Johannesburg and Sun City.

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai inaugurated the three days Asian Summit on Education and Skill and Didactic education organised by the state department of higher education in Bengaluru yesterday. Speaking during the inaugural ceremony, the Chief Minister said that the Asian Chapter of Education World Forum is playing an important role to promote peer learning and help the countries to adopt the best practices in education.

A member of the Divisional Committee of the outlawed Communist Party of India (Maoist)’s South Bastar Division, Madhavi alias Savitri surrendered before the Telangana police last evening. She is wife of late Ravula Srinivas alias Ramanna, the Central Committee Member and Secretary of Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee, who died in December last.

Telangana Director General of Police (DGP) M Mahendar Reddy announced the surrender of Savitri, who is a native of Konta in the Sukma district of Chhattisgarh. Savitri got attracted to revolutionary ideology due to socio and economic conditions prevailing then in the society. The DGP said she was frustrated and went into depression after the death of her husband.

मीटर रीडिंग में गड़बड़ी की शिकायतों पर सख्त कार्रवाई करते हुए दिल्ली जल बोर्ड ने कल एक मीटर रीडर के खिलाफ एफआईआर दर्ज करवाई है। विभाग को मीटर रीडर के खिलाफ बिलिंग में गड़बड़ी की शिकायत मिली थी। दिल्ली जल बोर्ड के उपाध्यक्ष सौरभ भारद्वाज ने पिछले सप्ताह गड़बड़ी करने वाले मीटर रीडर्स और उनकी संबंधित एजेंसी के खिलाफ एफआईआर दर्ज कराने के निर्देश दिए थे। श्री भारद्वाज ने जल बोर्ड के अधिकारियों को न्यूनतम मानदेय से कम भुगतान करने वाली एजेंसियों को नोटिस जारी करने के निर्देश भी दिये थे।

भाजपा प्रदेश अध्यक्ष आदेश गुप्ता के नेतृत्व में कल राजधानी के विभिन्न अस्पतालों में आयोजित वैक्सीनेशन शिविरों का दौरा किया और वैक्सीन लगवाने वाले लोगों से उनका हालचाल जाना। इस अवसर पर संवाददाताओँ से बातचीत में श्री गुप्ता ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की जनकल्याणकारी योजनाओं के कारण ही देश कोरोना जैसी भयंकर महामारी से उबर पाया।

महाराष्‍ट्र मंत्रिमंडल ने मुंबई की सबसे बडी झुग्‍गी बस्‍ती धारावी के पुनर्विकास के लिए नए सिरे से निविदाएं आमंत्रित करने की मंजूरी दे दी है। राज्‍य मंत्रिमंडल ने अतिरिक्‍त छूट देकर इस परियोजना के कार्यान्‍वयन की भी स्‍वीकृति दी। मंत्रिमंडल ने महाराष्‍ट्र लोकसेवा आयोग के माध्‍यम से राज्‍य में तृतीय श्रेणी के क्‍लर्क के रिक्‍त पदों को भरने का भी फैसला किया है। कांस्‍टेबल से इंस्‍पेक्‍टर तक के पुलिसकर्मियों के आकस्मिक अवकाश की संख्‍या 12 से बढाकर 20 करने की भी स्‍वीकृति दी गई। मंत्रिमंडल ने राज्‍य सम्‍पदा पुनर्निर्माण कम्‍पनी स्‍थापित करने का भी फैसला किया है। इससे सरकार की जमीन, शेयर पूंजी, ऋण और ऋण की गारंटी में जनहित की सुरक्षा होने की संभावना है। आपदा राहत संबंधी विभिन्‍न मुद्दों पर चर्चा और निर्णय करने के लिए मंत्रिमंडल उपसमिति के गठन का भी फैसला किया गया। भारत रत्‍न लता दीनानाथ मंगेशकर अंतर्राष्‍ट्रीय संगीत महाविद्यालय में विभिन्‍न सर्टिफिकेट पाठ्यक्रम शुरू करने का निर्णय भी लिया गया है।

1869--Shri Valangaiman Sankaranarayana Srinivasa Shastri, great scholar of Sanskrit, master, politician, social reformer, President of India and educationist, was born at Valangaiman village, Tamil Nadu.

1955 - ब्रिटेन में टेलीविजन का व्यावसायीकरण शुरू हुआ। इसमें प्रत्येक घंटे सिर्फ छह मिनट ही विज्ञापन के प्रसारण की अनुमति दी गयी और रविवार सुबह में इसे चलाने की इजाजत नहीं थी।

तो पुण्यतिथियों में आज सबसे पहला नाम है सिक्खों के प्रथम गुरु "गुरु नानक देव" जी का निधन 22 सितंबर, 1539, भारत में हुआ था थे। इनके अनुयायी इन्हें 'गुरु नानक', 'बाबा नानक' और 'नानकशाह' नामों से भी संबोधित करते हैं। गुरु नानक 20 अगस्त, 1507 को सिक्खों के प्रथम गुरु बने थे। वे इस पद पर 22 सितम्बर, 1539 तक रहे।

आज ही पुण्यतिथि है अपने ज़माने में हिन्दी व मराठी फ़िल्मों की प्रसिद्ध अभिनेत्री दुर्गा खोटे की जिनका निधन 22 सितंबर,1991) को हुआ था। उन्होंने अनेक हिट फ़िल्मों में शानदार अभिनय किया। आईये फिर सुनते हैं दुर्गा खोटे पर फिल्माया गया ये गीत :-

आईये अब अपने श्रोताओं को जानकारी देते हैं भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम के भूतपूर्व कप्तान और महान् खिलाड़ी मंसूर अली ख़ान पटौदी अथवा 'नवाब पटौदी' की जिनका इन्तेकाल 22 सितंबर, 2011 दिल्ली में हुआ था! अपनी कलात्मक बल्लेबाजी से अधिक कप्तानी के कारण क्रिकेट जगत् में अमिट छाप छोडऩे वाले मंसूर अली ख़ान पटौदी ने भारतीय क्रिकेट में नेतृत्व कौशल की नई मिसाल और नए आयाम जोड़े थे।

Today is also death anniversary of Vijayan. He was an Indian actor, primarily working in Malayalam and Tamil films in the late 1970s. He died following a cardiac arrest in 2007 while he was shooting for Aayudham Seivom.

जयंतियाँ में आज सबसे पहले जानकारी स्वामी रामकृष्ण परमहंस की जीवन संगिनी शारदा देवी के बारे में जिनका जन्म- 22 सितंबर, 1853; को हुआ था! 6 वर्ष की शारदामणि का 23 वर्ष के रामकृष्ण के साथ विवाह हुआ था। कुछ वर्ष बाद रामकृष्ण परमहंस अपनी पत्नी शारदा देवी को दिव्य माता की प्रतिमूर्ति मानने लगे।

चलते चलते आज का विचार कि :-  जो व्यक्ति स्पष्ट और सीधी बात करता है, उसकी वाणी कठोर ज़रूर होती है लेकिन वह कभी किसी के साथ छल नहीं करता!
