प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी आज सुबह साढे़ दस बजे वीडियो कान्फ्रेंस के माध्‍यम से स्‍टार्टअप से संवाद करेंगे। वर्ष 2016 में शुरू हुआ स्टार्टअप इंडिया अभियान इसका प्रतीक है कि प्रधानमंत्री मानते हैं कि राष्ट्र की प्रगति में योगदान के लिए स्टार्टअप में व्यापक संभावनाएं हैं।

सरकार ने स्टार्टअप के विकास और प्रगति को प्रोत्साहन देने के लिए अनुकूल वातावरण उपलब्‍ध कराया है। इसका देश के स्टार्टअप परिदृश्य पर जबरदस्त प्रभाव पड़ा है और यूनिकॉर्न यानि एक अरब डॉलर के स्टार्ट अप उद्यमों के विकास को बढ़ावा मिला है।

The budget session of Parliament will commence on January 31. The first half of the budget session will run from January 31 to February 11. It will reassemble on March 14 to sit until 8th of April subject to exigencies of government business. The government will present the Budget for fiscal year 2022-23 on 1st of February. President Ram Nath Kovind will address both the Houses of  Parliament assembled together at 11 AM on 31st of January, the first day of Budget Session of Parliament.

Lok Sabha Secretariat in a communique said that the eighth session of the 17th Lok Sabha will commence on 31st of January and subject to  exigencies of government business, the session is likely to conclude on 8th April, 2022.

उत्‍तर प्रदेश विधानसभा चुनाव के पहले चरण की अधिसूचना कल जारी होने के साथ ही राज्‍य में चुनाव प्रक्रिया शुरू हो गई है। राज्‍य में दस फरवरी से सात मार्च के बीच सात चरणों में मतदान कराया जाएगा। पहले चरण में 58 विधानसभा सीटों के लिए दस फरवरी को वोट डाले जायेंगे। नामांकन 21 जनवरी तक भरे जा सकेंगे। नामांकन पत्रों की जांच 24 जनवरी को की जाएगी। 27 जनवरी तक नाम वापस लिये जा सकते हैं। देश भर में कोविड महामारी और ओमीक्रॉन के बढ़ते मामलों के मद्देनजर निर्वाचन आयोग सुरक्षित चुनावों पर ध्यान केंद्रित कर रहा है। सभी निर्वाचन अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों को अग्रिम पंक्ति का कार्यकर्ता माना जायेगा तथा सभी पात्र अधिकारियों को एहतियाती टीका लगाया जायेगा।

चुनाव प्रचार के दौरान कल तक किसी भी रोड शो, पदयात्रा, साइकिल या बाइक रैली और जुलूस की अनुमति नहीं होगी। निर्वाचन आयोग कल स्थिति की समीक्षा करेगा और उसके अनुसार आगे के निर्देश जारी करेगा। राजनीतिक दलों को सलाह दी गई है कि वे जितना हो सके डिजिटल माध्यम से अपना प्रचार अभियान चलाएं। उम्मीदवारों द्वारा घर-घर चुनाव प्रचार के लिए अधिकतम पांच व्यक्तियों की अनुमति दी गई है। यदि कोई उम्मीदवार या राजनीतिक दल किसी भी दिशा-निर्देशों का उल्लंघन करता पाया गया, तो संबंधित उम्मीदवार या पार्टी को और प्रचार की अनुमति नहीं दी जाएगी। आयोग ने इन चुनावों के दौरान दूरदर्शन और आकाशवाणी पर मान्यता प्राप्त राजनीतिक दलों को आवंटित प्रसारण समय को बढ़ाने का भी फैसला किया है। इस बीच, राजनीतिक गतिविधियां पहले से ही शुरू हो चुकी हैं। ज्‍यादातर कार्यकर्ता मुख्य राजनीतिक दलों और विभिन्न पार्टी नेताओं से उम्मीदवारी की मांग कर रहे हैं।

0730- INDIA-COVID VACCINATION

India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has crossed 155 crore 92 lakh mark. Out of the total vaccination, more than 90 crore 37 lakh vaccine doses were administered as first dose while 65 crore 16 lakh doses given as second dose. Union Health Ministry said, more than 37 lakh 50 thousand Precaution Doses for the identified categories of beneficiaries for COVID vaccination have been administered so far. Over 3 crore 23 lakh vaccine doses have been given to Children aged 15 to 18 years so far. The Ministry also said, over 49 lakh 33 thousand Vaccine Doses have been administered till 7 PM yesterday.

The vaccination exercise as a tool to protect the most vulnerable population groups in the country from COVID-19 continues to be regularly reviewed and monitored at the highest level.

संशों मध्‍य प्रदेश-कोविड

मध्‍य प्रदेश सरकार ने कोविड संक्रमितों की संख्‍या में वृद्धि को देखते हुए नये दिशा-निर्देश जारी किये हैं। राज्‍य में पहली से बारहवीं कक्षा तक के सभी स्‍कूल और हॉस्‍टल आज से 31 जनवरी तक बंद रहेंगे। दसवीं और बारहवीं कक्षा की इस माह होने वाली प्री बोर्ड परीक्षाएं टेक होम एग्‍जाम फॉर्मेट में होगी। विद्यार्थियों को इंटरनेट से प्रश्‍न पत्र डाउनलोड करना होगा और उत्‍तर अपलोड करना होगा। स्‍कूलों को इसके लिए आवश्‍यक निर्देश दिया गया है।

0730- ARMY-UNIFORM

Indian Army will introduce a light and more climate-friendly combat uniform for its personnel on Army Day today. The new Army Combat Pattern Uniform has been developed with the help of NIFT after going through options of 15 patterns, eight designs, and four fabrics. The camouflage uniform will will be based on a "digital disruptive" pattern and will be available in 13 sizes. The new uniform has been designed to serve two purposes--Protection against harsh climatic conditions, and to provide soldiers’ outfits with field camouflage, to increase survivability.

इंडिया ओपन बैडमिंटन चैंपियनशिप में पीवी सिंधु, आकर्षी कश्‍यप और लक्ष्‍य सेन अपने-अपने मुकाबले जीतकर सिंगल्‍स के सेमीफाइनल में पहुंच गए हैं। क्‍वार्टर फाइनल में सिंधु ने अश्मिता चालिहा को हराया, जबकि आकर्षी ने मालविका बंसोड को पराजित किया। पुरुष सिंगल्‍स में लक्ष्‍य सेन ने एच एस प्रणॉय को हराकर सेमीफाइनल में जगह बनाई।

South Africa defeated India in the third and final Test of the series at the Newlands in Cape Town yesterday to seal the series 2-1. The hosts chased a 212-run target with seven wickets to spare as Keegan Petersen top-scored with 82 for the side, and was ably supported by Rassie van der Dussen, Captain Dean Elgar and Temba Bavuma. India have never won a Test series in South Africa so far.

CHENNAI METRO

The traffic police of Chennai city have made a few diversions along the Old Mahabalipuram Road to reduce vehicular congestion. Vehicles towards East Coast Road from Medavakkam can travel straight after crossing the Sholinganallur traffic signal. Those who are returning to Chennai from Mamallapuram or pondicherry via ECR can go to Thoraipakkam or can travel straight to Medavakkam. Urban traffic planner Suresh Menon said that they have got back to the earlier traffic arrangement to smoothen out traffic.

The Cyber crime police has warned people that scamsters are targeting people using the ongoing booster dose vaccination to make a quick buck. The public have been asked to stay vigilant and avoid downloading or responding to such messages.

Karnataka  achieved a record Covid test figures yesterday. The minister for Health and Medical Education Dr. K Sudhakar has tweeted that Karnataka did 2.21 lakh tests in a single day yesterday breaking all earlier records since the outbreak of the pandemic.

On the eve of Makara Sankranthi harvest festival in Karnataka, the State Government has announced doubling of salaries paid to the guest lecturers working in government first grade colleges. The minister for Higher Education in the state Dr. C N Ashwatha Narayana announced this during a press conference yesterday in Bengaluru.

HYDERABAD METRO

More than hundred students have been tested positive for COVID-19 at the Indian Institute of Technology-Hyderabad. The Institute authorities informed this stating that all are double vaccinated and recovering in isolation.

दिल्ली पुलिस

दिल्ली पुलिस ने कल पूर्वी दिल्ली के गाजीपुर फूल बाजार में एक लावारिस बैग के अंदर एक आधुनिक विस्फोटक उपकरण बरामद किया। दिल्ली पुलिस ने बताया कि एनएसजी के बम निरोधक दस्ते ने नियंत्रित विस्फोट का इस्तेमाल करके विस्फोटक उपकरण को नष्ट कर दिया। नियंत्रित विस्फोट के लिए उपकरण को एक गहरे गड्ढे में दबाया गया था। सूचना मिलने के बाद दिल्ली पुलिस के विशेष सेल, एनएसजी का बम निरोधक दस्‍ता और दमकल सेवाओं की संयुक्त टीम मौके पर पहुंची और इलाके को सील कर दिया था।

दिल्ली-सप्ताहांत कर्फ्यू

कोविड रोगियों की बढ़ती संख्या के कारण दिल्ली में कल रात 10 बजे से सोमवार सवेरे 5 बजे तक सप्ताहांत कर्फ्यू लागू रहेगा। सप्ताहांत कर्फ्यू के दौरान, सामान्य आवागमन पर प्रतिबंध रहेगा। हालांकि कर्फ्यू के दौरान आवश्यक और आपात सेवाओं में शामिल अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों को वैध पहचान पत्र प्रस्तुत करने पर आवागमन की अनुमति है। दिल्ली सरकार द्वारा लागू किया गया साप्ताहिक कर्फ्यू अगले आदेश तक जारी रहेगा।

दिल्ली कोविड

दिल्ली में पिछले 24 घंटों में 24 हजार 383 नए मामले सामने आए हैं। राष्ट्रीय राजधानी में पॉजिटिविटी दर बढ़ते हुए 30 प्रतिशत से भी ऊपर पहुंच गई है, जो पिछले साल 1 मई के बाद सबसे अधिक है। स्वास्थ्य बुलेटिन के अनुसार, दिल्ली में 92 हजार 273 सक्रिय कोविड मामले हैं।

महाराष्ट्र-कोविड

महाराष्ट्र में कल कोविड के 43 हजार 211 नए मामले सामने आए और 19 लोगों की मौत हुई। राज्य में कोविड संक्रमण की पॉजिटिविटी दर 9.6% है। कल 33 हजार से अधिक संक्रमित स्‍वस्‍थ हुए। प्रदेश में रिकवरी रेट 94 दशमलव दो आठ फीसदी है। राज्य में अब तक ओमिक्रोन से संक्रमित कुल 1 हजार 605 मरीज सामने आ चुके हैं। इनमें से 859 मामलों को निगेटिव जांच रिपोर्ट के बाद छुट्टी दे दी गई है।

महाराष्ट्र-नक्सल गिरफ्तारी

महाराष्ट्र में कल गढ़चिरौली पुलिस और सीआरपीएफ के संयुक्त अभियान में एटापल्ली के पोमके गट्टा इलाके से 2 लाख रुपये का इनामी नक्सली गिरफ्तार किया गया। गढ़चिरौली के पुलिस अधीक्षक अंकित गोयल ने बताया कि करण उर्फ दुलसा नरोटे नक्सल एक्शन टीम का सदस्य है और मूल रूप से गट्टा दलम से जुड़ा है। पुलिस के मुताबिक दुलसा नरोटे छह हत्याओं, चार मुठभेड़ों और दो डकैती समेत 16 गंभीर अपराधों में शामिल है।

पश्चिम बंगाल-नगर निकाय चुनाव

कलकत्ता उच्च न्यायालय ने कोविड संक्रमण के बढ़ते मामलों के मद्देनजर पश्चिम बंगाल चुनाव आयोग को नगर निकायों के चुनाव को चार से छह सप्ताह तक टालने पर विचार करने को कहा है। उच्च न्यायालय ने आयोग को 48 घंटे के भीतर अपना जवाब देने को कहा है। राज्य में सात नगर निकायों आसनसोल नगर निगम, बिधाननगर नगर निगम, चंद्रनगर नगर निगम, दुर्गापुर नगर निगम, हावड़ा नगर निगम और सिलीगुड़ी नगर निगम के चुनाव होने हैं।

मुंबई- में छिटपुट बादल दिख सकते हैं। न्यूनतम तापमान 20 डिग्री सेल्सियस जबकि अधिकतम 29 डिग्री के आसपास रहने की संभावना है।

कोलकाता में आंशिक बादल छाए रहने का अनुमान है। तापमान 15 और 24 डिग्री सेल्सियस के बीच रहेगा।

Chennai will have generally cloudy sky with light rain. The temperature will vary between 24 and 31 degree Celsius.

Bengaluru has fog in the morning and will have partly cloudy sky later. The minimum temperature was 18 degree Celsius while the maximum will be around 29 degrees. 

Hyderabad will have generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers. The temperature will hover between 20 and 28 degree Celsius.

Sir William Jones, Judge and linguist, and Sir Warren Hastings established the Asiatic Society of Bengal at Calcutta. This was the first scholastic institution.

Saifuddin Kitchlew, freedom fighter and President of the Punjab, was born at Amritsar.

1949- एम करियप्पा ने ब्रिटिश राज की भारतीय सेना के अंतिम अंग्रेज शीर्ष कमांडर जनरल रॉय बुचर से भारतीय थल सेना के पहले कमांडर-इन-चीफ का पदभार ग्रहण किया. इसी दिन से 15 जनवरी को सेना दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है.

Army Day is celebrated on 15 January every year in India, in recognition of Field Marshal Kodandera M. Cariappa's (then a Lieutenant General) taking over as the first Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Army from General Fransis Bucher , the last British Commander-in-Chief of India, on 15 January 1949. The day is celebrated in the form of parades and other military shows in the national capital New Delhi as well as in all headquarters. On 15 January 2021, India celebrated its 73rd Indian Army Day in New Delhi. Army Day marks a day to salute the valiant soldiers who sacrificed their lives to protect the country and its citizens.

While celebrations take place across the country, the main Army Day parade is conducted in Cariappa Parade ground in Delhi cantonment. Gallantry awards and Sena medals are also awarded on this day. In 2020, 15 soldiers were presented with bravery awards. Param Vir Chakra and Ashok Chakra awardees participate in the Army Day parade every year. Military hardware, numerous contingents and a combat display are part of the parade. In 2020, Captain Tania Shergill became the first female officer to command an Army Day parade.

सेना दिवस, भारत में हर वर्ष 15 जनवरी को लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल (बाद में फ़ील्ड मार्शल) के. एम. करियप्पा के भारतीय थल सेना के शीर्ष कमांडर का पदभार ग्रहण करने के उपलक्ष्य में मनाया जाता है। उन्होंने 15 जनवरी 1949 को ब्रिटिश राज के समय के भारतीय सेना के अंतिम अंग्रेज शीर्ष कमांडर जनरल रॉय फ्रांसिस बुचर से यह पदभार ग्रहण किया था।  सेना दिवस पर आज जैसलमेर के लोंगेवाला में भारत- पाकिस्तान सीमा पर देश की अस्मिता और गौरव का प्रतीक भव्य राष्ट्रीय ध्वज फहराया जायेगा। लोंगेवाला 1971 के ऐतिहासिक भारत- पाकिस्तान युद्ध का केंद्रस्थल था। खादी से बना यह ध्वज विश्व का सबसे बड़ा राष्ट्रीय ध्वज है। भारतीयता और राष्ट्रीयता की सामूहिक भावना तथा खादी हस्तशिल्प कला विरासत के प्रतीक तिरंगे को खादी और ग्रामोद्योग आयोग ने स्वतंत्रता के 75 वर्ष के उपलक्ष्य में आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव के लिये तैयार किया है।

चुनी गोस्वामी (जन्म- 15 जनवरी, 1938; मृत्यु- 30 अप्रॅल, 2020,) भारतीय फ़ुटबॉल के इतिहास में बड़े आदर से याद‍ किए जाते हैं चुनी गोस्वामी। 1962 के जकार्ता एशियाई खेलों में भारतीय फ़ुटबॉल टीम को पहली बार स्वर्ण पदक दिलाने में अहम भूमिका अदा करने वाले चुनी गोस्वामी का आज जन्‍म दिन है। चुनी गोस्वामी को 1963 में ‘अर्जुन पुरस्कार’ प्रदान किया गया और 1983 में ‘पद्मश्री’ मिला। 1958 में चुनी गोस्वामी को वेटरन्स स्पोर्टस क्लब कलकत्ता द्वारा ‘बेस्ट फुटबॉलर’ पुरस्कार दिया गया। वर्ष 1958 के एशियाई खेलों में तथा 1960 के रोम ओलंपिक खेलों में चुनी गोस्वामी भारतीय टीम के सदस्य थे। 1986 से 1989 तक चुनी गोस्वामी टाटा फ़ुटबॉल अकादमी, झारखंड राज्य के डायरेक्टर रहे। 2005 में वह कोलकाता कारपोरेशन के शेरिफ रहे तथा 2005 में मोहन बागान ने उन्हें ‘रत्न’ सम्मान प्रदान किया।

Martin Luther KIng Jr. (born Michael King Jr.; January 15, 1929 - April 4, 1968) was an American Baptist minister and activist who became the most visible spokesman and leader in the American civil rights movement from 1955 until his assassination in 1968. King advanced civil rights through nonviolence and civil disobedience, inspired by his Christian beliefs and the nonviolent activism of Mahatma Gandhi. He was the son of early civil rights activist and minister Martin Luther King Sr. King participated in and led marches for blacks' right to vote, desegregation, labor rights, and other basic civil rights.[1] King led the 1955 Montgomery bus boycott and later became the first president of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC). As president of the SCLC, he led the unsuccessful Albany Movement in Albany, Georgia, and helped organize some of the nonviolent 1963 protests in Birmingham, Alabama. King helped organize the 1963 March on Washington, where he delivered his "I Have a Dream" speech on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.

खाशाबा दादासाहेब जाधव (15 जनवरी, 1926- 14 अगस्त, 1984) भारत के प्रसिद्ध कुश्ती खिलाड़ी खाशाबा दादासाहेब जाधव का आज जन्‍म दिन है। खाशाबा दादासाहेब जाधव पहले भारतीय खिलाड़ी थे, जिन्होंने कुश्ती की व्यक्तिगत स्पर्धा में देश को पहला पदक दिलाया। 1952 में हेलसिंकी ओलम्पिक में उन्‍होंने कांस्य पदक जीता। वैसे तो 1952 के हेलसिंकी ओलम्पिक में भारतीय हॉकी टीम ने फिर से स्वर्ण पदक जीता था, लेकिन चर्चा सोने से अधिक उस कांस्य पदक की होती है, जिसे पहलवान खाशाबा जाधव ने जीता था। खाशाबा को पॉकेट डायनमो के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। भारत को ओलम्पिक का पदक दिलाने वाला यह खिलाड़ी बाद में गुमनाम बनकर रह गया।

तपन सिन्हा (2 अक्तूबर, 1924 - 15 जनवरी, 2009) बांग्ला एवं हिन्दी फ़िल्मों के प्रसिद्ध निर्देशक तपन सिन्हा को आज याद कर रहे हैं जिनकी आज पुण्‍य तिथ‍ि है। भारतीय सिनेमा के सर्वोच्‍च सम्‍मान दादा साहब फाल्के से उन्‍हें 2006 में सम्‍मानित किया गया। तपन सिन्हा की फ़िल्में भारत के अलावा बर्लिन, वेनिस, लंदन, मास्को जैसे अंतरराष्ट्रीय ‍फ़िल्म समारोहों में भी सराही गईं। तपन सिन्हा ने हमेशा कम बजट की फ़िल्में बनाईं। सामाजिक सरोकार के साथ उनकी फ़िल्में दर्शकों का स्वस्थ मनोरंजन करने में हमेशा कामयाब रहीं। उन्हें उन्नीस बार राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार प्राप्त हुए। सामाजिक, कॉमेडी, बाल फ़िल्मों के अलावा साहित्य आधारित फ़िल्में बनाने पर उन्होंने अधिक ध्यान दिया। रवीन्द्रनाथ ठाकुर की रचनाओं पर ‘काबुलीवाला’ तथा ‘क्षुधित पाषाण’ उनकी चर्चित फ़िल्में हैं। नारायण गांगुली कथा सैनिक पर उन्होंने ‘अंकुश’ फ़िल्म बनाई थी। तपन सिन्हा की साहित्य आधारित फ़िल्में बोझिल न होकर सिनमैटिक गुणवत्ता से दर्शकों को लुभाने में कामयाब भी रहीं। बांग्ला के अलावा उन्होंने हिंदी में भी सफल फ़िल्में दीं। अमोल पालेकर अभ‍िनीत ‘आदमी और औरत’ एक चर्चित फिल्‍म रही। भारत का पहला लाईफ़ टाइम अचीवमेंट पुरस्कार तपन सिन्हा को दिया गया।

Ronald Wayne Van Zant (January 15, 1948 - October 20, 1977) was an American musician known as the lead vocalist, primary lyricist, and founding member of the Southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd. He was the older brother of two other rock vocalists: current Lynyrd Skynyrd lead vocalist Johnny Van Zant and Donnie Van Zant, the founder and vocalist of 38 Special. वी. एस. रमादेवी (15 जनवरी, 1934 - 17 अप्रैल, 2013) भारत की पहली महिला मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त वी. एस. रमादेवी का भी आज जन्‍म दिन है। वी. एस. रमादेवी 26 नवंबर, 1990 से 11 दिसंबर, 1990 तक मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त रहीं। उन्होंने राज्य सभा के महासचिव का पद भी सम्भाला। वह 1 जुलाई, 1993 से 25 जुलाई, 1997 तक राज्य सभा महासचिव रहीं।

Pitbull- Armando Christian Pérez[4][5] (born January 15, 1981), known professionally by his stage name Pitbull, is an American rapper and singer. Pérez began his career in the early 2000s, recording reggaeton, Latin hip hop, and crunk music under a multitude of labels. In 2004, he released his debut album M.I.A.M.I. under TVT Records and the executive production of Lil Jon.
