Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Singh Thakur has said India is moving ahead on the path of progress and prosperity and the credit goes to the strong and capable leadership provided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Addressing the programme of '75 Years of Progressive Himachal' at Gondpur Banehra in Una district of Himachal Pradesh, Mr. Thakur said, during the Corona pandemic when the whole world was in the grip of the pandemic, the Prime Minister not only dealt with the crisis effectively but also ensured that the country's economy is not affected.
The Minister remarked, the Prime Minister is working hard to lay a strong foundation for a New India so that the nation can become a power to be reckoned with. He added that the rail network would be soon strengthened and extended in the State. He announced the construction of indoor at Gagret in Una district.
Speaking on the occasion Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said, the State has made phenomenal development over the years and the credit goes to every Himachali and the vision of leadership provided by the subsequent governments. The Chief Minister mentioned, the State government is also about to complete its present term, which will be remembered for development-oriented schemes aimed at the welfare of weaker sections of the society.
