UP: Police to distribute tricolor flags to kanwariyas in series of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations

The holy month of savan is starting today and after a gap of almost 2 years, the Kanwar Yatra is scheduled to be organized this time in Uttar Pradesh. The state government particularly the police department has made elaborate arrangements in this regard. ADG law and order Prashant Kumar told AIR news that coordination with other states has also been established and police have made elaborate arrangements for kanwariyas. He said that this time UP police will distribute tricolor flags during Kanwar Yatra in a series of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations.
