President, Vice President greet nation on eve of Dussehra

President Ram Nath Kovind and Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu has greeted the nation on the eve of Dussehra. The President said, Vijaya Dashami is celebrated to mark the victory of good over evil. He said, persona of Lord Rama and his righteous conduct as Maryada-Purushottam is an ideal for all. He hoped that that this festival strengthens the moral foundation of the society and inspires all the citizens to work for nation-building.

Vice President, in his message said, Dussehra is an occasion to remind everyone of the need to constantly quell the demonic forces and foster goodness and harmony. He hoped that the festival brings peace, harmony and prosperity in the country.
