Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has directed the administration to provide immediate assistance to the people affected in the cloud burst like incidences in Pune, Satara, Raigad, Ahmednagar and other districts of the state.
The Chief Minister has also directed the state chief secretary to get in touch with the the district collectors, adding that where there has been cloud burst like incidents there panchnama should be should on urgent basis and the people over there be compensated.
Meanwhile, the IMD has given heavy rainfall warning to the western part of Konkan region, north Maharashtra and Vidarbha for next 4-5 days. The IMD said that there is a possibility of extreme rainfall at some places, as a reason, the CM has directed the district administration to keep all its machinery on standby.
