The key domestic indices on Friday witnessed gains of about half a percent in the afternoon trade. The BSE Sensex was trading above 62,600 mark while the NSE Nifty was trading above 18,550 level. Both stocks were up amid positive global cues.
The Sensex rose 250 points or 0.4 percent to trade at 62,678. The Nifty was also up 75 points or 0.4 percent to trade at 18,561, a short while ago.
