Jharkhand: New set of COVID guidelines to come into force from today

In Jharkhand, the new set of guidelines issued by the State Government will come into force from today onwards. Public places including gyms, parks, school, colleges and educational institutions will remain closed till April 30 to stop the spread of growing COVID19 infection in the state. One thousand 312 active COVID-19 cases were detected yesterday taking the total count of active cases to 7872 in the state.
AIR Ranchi Correspondent reports that Schools will remain closed, except students appearing for 10th and 12th board examinations have been allowed to attend offline classes only with their parents consent. Public places, shops, malls and markets have been ordered to close after 8 pm in the evening. Masks have been made mandatory for all locations and penalty imposed for non-usage of masks in public.
Shops, malls, restaurants have been instructed to strictly adhere to No Mask No Entry rule. Restaurants, banquet and marriage halls are allowed to operate with only 50 percent seating capacity. Any procession, picket, demonstration, fair and exhibition has been completely banned.
